Marnie Simpson, a reality TV star, has revealed that she and her husband Casey Johnson are expecting a second child.
Marnie, 33 – best known for having been on Geordie Shore – and her partner Casey, 29, already have two sons together. The couple, who got married in 2023, are parents to Rox, five, and Oax, two – who were part of the announcement.
This evening, she shared the news with her fans on Instagram by posting a collection of pregnancy highlights. A positive pregnancy test clip was included in the footage along with some baby scans. Casey, a former Union J member, and Marnie were also seen cradling Casey’s baby bump at home. Before the family appeared together in a clip, Rox and Oax were later seen holding up baby scans at one point in the video.
Alongside the video, Celebrity Big Brother finalist Marnie teased over their family expanding, with her having written in the caption of the post: “Here we go again …” Casey reacted in the comments section: “Can’t wait to meet our baby”.
On the platform, including from famous pals, fans have expressed well wishes for the post. James Tindale, her former Geordie Shore co-star, was one of the people who reacted. He wrote: “Omg! Congratulations on this fantastic news. When 4 become 5”. Chloe Ferry wrote: “So so happy for yous. Love you so much congratulations]Marnie and Casey]”.
Rochelle Anthony, a former finalist on The Apprentice, said, “Soo happy for you guys.” Whilst Love Island’s Hannah Elizabeth wrote: “So happy for yous”. And Celebs Go Dating star Lauryn Goodman commented: “Congratulations”.
Lateysha Grace, a former Big Brother housemate, said: “So happy for you both! Love you”. Amy Childs, Married at First Sight star Ella Morgan, and the Only Way is Essex cast member Amy Childs also reacted with heart emojis.
At the end of last year, Marnie celebrated Rox’s fifth birthday by giving an insight into parenting. She wrote in a message on Instagram for the occasion in October: “Today we celebrated my beautiful Rox’s 5th birthday”.
She continued: “The most wholesome day filled with love. I can’t even describe how quickly time has passed; I feel as though I just blinked and you are five. My funny, outgoing, wild &, UNIQUE boy, words can’t describe how much I love &, adore you. I adore your growth, but I also want you to be a little forever. Every day, you make my father and I proud. love you like a special boy always.
