Rami Hawash and Gemma Collins are making an enormous announcement as they prepare to give their own child a special update while going through the IVF procedure.
Gemma Collins has secured her own TV show deal with Sky and has promised to show “the Gemma behind the GC” as she tries to start a family while getting married.
Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby is her first attempt at a more serious fly-on-the-wall series and Sky say it will show the “woman behind the persona”.
Gemma, 44, will spend the next year juggling her blended family, planning the wedding she’s always dreamed of, and hopefully having her own much-sought child through IVF. Gemma will follow her behind the scenes of her day-to-day life for the eighth episode of the eight-part series.
For the first time in years, people will see the Gemma behind the GC, said Gemma Collins, “This really is the most important year of my life.” I’ll start planning my wedding and getting ready to start a family over the course of the year.
“I’ve always felt natural in front of the cameras, but now I want to let the world see the real, raw me, sharing the most intimate and personal times in my life. I feel ready to truly open up, not just about the present, but about my past and everything I’ve been through to become the woman I am today.
For everyone to join me in this brand-new phase of my life, I feel incredibly blessed and excited. After being told by her astrologer that the year was ideal for getting married, Gemma has declared that she and her 50-year-old fiance Rami Hawash will get married in 2026.
She has also spoken in 2024 about terminating a pregnancy when she was younger as she was told the baby was intersex. Intersex is an umbrella term for people born with anatomy or chromosomes that do not fit with the traditional conceptions of male or female.
Rami has a six-year-old son Tristan from a previous relationship and Gemma is stepmom to him. Gemma previously worked a lot with ITV and came to prominence on TOWIE but has since had her own BBC podcast and fronted a Channel 4 documentary. Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby, which is a working title, will be released in 2026.
Gemma revealed how she used Manjaro injections to lose weight earlier this year and pledged to be open about how she would manage to lose weight.
Speaking to the Mirror in March she said: “I want to be open with everything I do in my life. There’s no point in lying to the people who love me and that’s the public. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the public. I just always want to be transparent.
The weight is slowly losing with those injections, the doctor says. I grew from a size 26 to a 20 now. She said, “I want to have a baby in a separate interview in the same month. I firmly believe that I’ll become pregnant once my weight increases.
“That’s my hope,” I said. I sincerely believe I will have twins because I want a baby.
