Daphne Schrager, a British Paralympic medalist, returned to international cycling duty at the Para-cycling Road World Cup in Italy, completing a double.

The 24-year-old from Wiltshire won both races in Maniago’s C2 class, earning her country’s first medal at last year’s Paris Games with silver individual pursuit.

In Friday’s time trial, she was 12 seconds ahead of her closest competitor, and she won the road race on Sunday, sweeping American Allison Jones in the third of seven laps and coming in more than three minutes.

Fin Graham, a Paris gold medalist, won the C3 race with team-mate Ben Watson third, and Archie Atkinson, a C4 racer, respectively.

In the women’s B time trial, GB tandems Lizzi Jordan, Danni Khan, Amelia Robertson, Corrine Hall, and Matthew Robertson won the silver and bronze medal in the C2 road race, and Felix Barrow, a trike rider, placed second and third.

In addition to their respective road races, callum Russell (H4) and marina logacheva (H2) placed third.
