Frankie has become our unexpected Traitors style icon – where to shop her quirky pieces
If The Traitors has taken over your January like it did for us, you’re just as let down by tonight’s episode. Sadly, that means no more contestant drama, chaotic roundtables and, of course, no more iconic style moments.
As always, Claudia Winkleman has taken over the conversation with her gothic, androgynous, ‘ country core ‘ looks. However, we’ve had our eye on another unexpected series style icon – Francesca Rowan-Plowden or Frankie, as the other contestants call her.
We are eagerly awaiting each episode to see what ensemble she’ll be wearing next because of her distinctive style and odd pieces. We’re not the only ones who are big fans of Frankie’s fashion.
Her Instagram has been inundated with comments from viewers who love her style, writing, “Your style is so fabulous, loving the outfits”, “Am now spoilt for choice between ogling your wardrobe and Claudia Winkleman”, and “Girl you are the best-dressed person on the show no wonder your interior design work is so gorgeous”.
We can’t get enough of Frankie’s style, from her belted denim dress to her iconic mustard yellow suit and snakeskin slingbacks. So we’ve found a few pieces she’s worn on the show and some alternatives.

EPISODE 2 – FARM RIO DENIM DRESS
One of our favorite denim pieces, which we’ve seen in episodes 2 and 3, is from where we’ve seen Frankie wear a lot of denim, from dungarees to jeans and skirts. The exact dress is Farm Rio’s Patch Denim Midi-Dress, £270. With its retro patchwork and oversized frills, this odd piece perfectly captures Frankie’s style.
We love the uniqueness of Farm Rio’s clothing, and although the dress is pricey, there are not many similar styles around. We have, however, found this Denim Pleated Hem Biker Dress from Karen Millen with a similar interesting silhouette, and it’s currently £90.
EPISODE 7 – M&, S SNAKESKIN SLINGBACKS
In episode 7, you may recall Frankie running down to save Alexander from the coffin before confessing to using snakeskin slingbacks. After some digging, we found out that these slingbacks are from M&, S. Unfortunately, they are sold out, as they were last year. However, we have found a pair from Oliver Bonas that looks strikingly similar, available for £75.
Thankfully, Frankie confirmed that the slingbacks survived the mud!
EPISODE 8 – RIXO TIE-NECK BLOUSE
In episode 8, Frankie participates in the creepy doll mission, which is my favorite look of the series. Frankie wore a red tie-neck blouse teamed with a brown corduroy jacket, skinny light-wash jeans, and tan western-style boots. As soon as we spotted the amazing red blouse, we knew it was from the female-founded brand Rixo. Again, this is an older piece, so it is now sold out, but we have found a few alternatives if you want to get the look.
Rixo has a new-season version of the tie-neck top available for £185 at Selfridge’s. Although the silhouette and neck detail are virtually identical, the pattern and color are the same.
Additionally, Next sells for $42, which includes a Love and Roses Red Bow Printed Tie Neck Detail.
EPISODE 10 – ALIGNE DENIM SKIRT
In episode 10, we learned that Frankie was wearing an incredible denim skirt from Aligne, one of our favorite brands. And Frankie confirmed it to her Instagram followers.
Sadly, Aligne’s Luna Volume Denim Maxi-Skirt is currently out of stock (although we’re hoping it will come back). We have found Nobody’s Child’s Blue Mid Wash Denim Midi Skirt on sale for £45. Alongside this, Aligne’s Mary Long Pleated Denim Skirt (£49.49) is in a deeper indigo wash than Frankie’s, but the length and pleats give off a very similar vibe.
