When asked about the spelling of their chart-topping outfit, five-pieces got into a fight.

Sean Conlon, 43, Ritchie Neville, 45, Scott Robinson, 45, Abz Love, 45, and Jason “J” Brown, 48, the group’s original founding members, who were born in 1997. The pair released a number of other hits, including the number one smashes Keep On Movin’, Let’s Dance, and the Queen collaboration We Will Rock You, as well as their first single, Slam Dunk (Da Funk), which debuted at number 10 in the UK charts that year.

The group split in 2001, but it later underwent a change in 2006 before splitting again in 2007 in a second split. They reunited in 2012, but without J and only occasionally with Abz, but they recently won over fans by revealing that all five members had agreed to form and would embark on a 2025 tour.

Fans have now been exposed to a head-spinning truth, as the band has revealed that their name has been spelled incorrectly for decades. Fans have known to call Five “5ive,” but the boys insist that this is a spelling mistake.

Richie insisted that “we didn’t” when asked if they should have changed the letter five from their name’s spelling. Although Scott stated that there is a 5 in the [Slam Dunk (Da Funk)] video, it was never included on any of our albums. Because Spotify has the 5 features, it’s incorrect. We are known as “F,” “I,” “V,” and “E.”

Sean said, “I can’t understand – I know I’m going to get a lot of backlash – you’re going to attack me – I don’t understand what’s so upsetting about it,” and Sean responded, “I can’t understand.” J continued, “I don’t like it”! Additionally, Scott continued, “It looks silly. like 5Five . We’re called Five, please, please, please, but we’re not 5Five.

Five and all five members of the group returned to sing and dance for the entertainment of fans last month when they announced they were reunited for a Keep On Movin’ 2025 Tour. This has been a long time coming, said Scott in a statement, and it feels right now to everyone. When I say, “We can’t wait to do this all over again,” I know I’m speaking for all the boys. I’m hoping you’re prepared”!

Abz continued, “We really can’t wait to get back on stage together and, see the fans, it’s going to go off”! While a band’s official statement stated that “The five of us are reuniting for a tour across the UK!!” We’ve been waiting for this for a long time, and it now feels right for everyone – 25 years later, we’re so excited about it. It’s going to go off! We’re really looking forward to returning to the stage and seeing you all in person. Let’s gooooooooooooooooo!”

The tour will start in Brighton on October 31 along with dates in Bournemouth, Cardiff, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, London, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin. The band added, “International fans, make sure to sign up there so we know where you are too” while teasing potential dates for new dates.
