
The First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has urged women to prioritize their health by conducting regular self-examination and timely medical screening as Nigeria joins the rest of the world in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
In a message sent on Monday to mark the 2025 edition, Tinubu made the call, stressing that early detection is still crucial to saving lives.
Our health must continue to be a top priority for us as mothers, sisters, and daughters. In the fight against breast cancer, she said, early detection saves lives, regular self-examination, and timely medical screening are essential.
She urged Nigerians to use Awareness Month to support survivors, raise public awareness, and encourage proactive measures to improve their health.
