At the European Figure Skating Championships in Tallinn, Estonia, Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson of Great Britain won the ice dance medal.

After finishing second at the previous two Europeans, the Britons were third after Friday’s rhythm dance, which had been their first major title.

With two pairs left, Evgeniia Lopareva and Geoffrey Brissaud, France’s 206.76 and 206.76 in the free dance program put them in the lead.

The final pair, Italy’s Marco Fabbri and two-time defending champion Charlene Guignard, were under pressure from those two.

However, they put on a fantastic display, winning three games in a row with a score of 212.12.
