The I’m a Celebrity campmates have had to endure plenty of downpours, mud and miscellaneous liquids already during their time in the jungle, which makes a pair of waterproof boots one of the most important items in their kit. Each year the campmates are kitted out with their jungle essentials, including a pair of Hi-Tec’s Eurotrek Lite Waterproof Walking Boots .
The waterproof boots are not only ideal for tackling the tough jungle terrain, but they’re great for us stuck back here in the UK tackling the winter conditions. Usually the boots are priced at £65 for the men’s boots, whilst the women’s boots are £59.99 on Amazon. However as it’s officially the Cyber Weekend sales, now is the time to get your hands on them for less.
The women’s are slashed by 10% to £53.99, whilst the black version of the men’s boots have a huge 42% discount, bringing them down to just £37.99. You can also save on the chocolate brown pair, which is down from £54.87 for £52.19.
The Hi-Tec Eurotrek Lite Waterproof Walking Boots are still available in all sizes, with women’s boots coming in sizes four to eight, whilst the men’s can be shopped in sizes six to 16. They’re designed with a Dri-Tec waterproof membrane which keeps feet dry whilst still being breathable and stopping your feet being too sweaty.
They also have a hard-wearing leather upper that’s comfortable and durable, and grippy rubber soles that give you plenty of traction even on slippery surfaces. The footbed is EVA with underfoot cushioning, and the midsole has compression-moulded EVA with shank, which helps with reducing impact and giving your feet some extra cushioning.
The post-Black Friday and Cyber Weekend sales have also seen other styles of walking boots slashed in price elsewhere. The Adventurer Mens Waterproof Hiking Boots at Mountain Warehouse are now £29.99 down from £69.99, whilst at Salomon, the X ULTRA 4 MID GORE-TEX are now £99 down from £165.
For women, the NEO-D-HYKER Waterproof Walking Boots are now £79 down from £140 at FitFlop, with four different colours. They’re waterproof, insulated and grippy, but have a stylish quilted design, and trainer-like comfort.
But considering the Hi-Tec Eurotrek Lite Waterproof Walking Boots have been getting the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here seal of approval year after year, it’s safe to say they come well recommended.
