On the day of Paddy Donovan and Lewis Crocker’s world title fight at Windsor Park, former UFC star Molly McCann will make her boxing debut.
After being defeated by Alexia Thainara at UFC in March, Liverpool’s McCann, who signed with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing earlier this month, declared she wants to “win a world title within eight fights.”
The 35-year-old’s opponent for the Belfast fight on September 13 has not yet been announced.
McCann finished her 10-year MMA career with 14 victories out of 22.
Ishmael Davis, 30, and Luke Agyarko, 28, will face middleweight champion Agyarko, 35, while Dylan Moran, 35, will compete against Irishman McKenna.
In their welterweight match against Moran in Waterford in December, McKenna stopped Moran.
Additionally, Matchroom has confirmed that Aaron Bowen, a bronze medalist from the Commonwealth Games, and Patrick Brown, who represented Great Britain at the 2024 Olympics, will be on the bill, with additional fights still to be added.
Windsor Park was chosen earlier this week to host Donovan and Crocker’s welterweight contest.
The last boxing matchup took place in August 2018, when two-weight champion Carl Frampton defeated Australian Luke Jackson.
The Irish duo’s first world title fight will take place in Donovan and Crocker’s rematch.
