Brooklyn Beckham’s long-running feud with his well-known family may be coming to an end thanks to Cruz, his youngest brother, making a sweet move that will make it happen.
Everything you need to know as Cruz appears to have settled his feud with Brooklyn after months of public outcry.
- Cruz Beckham has indicated the end is nigh for the Beckham feud. Singer Cruz, 20 – who recently performed a gig with his band for family and friends in Notting Hill – posted a snap on Instagram which seems like an olive branch to his eldest brother.
- It’s the first snap with Brooklyn, 26, that Cruz has posted since the feud erupted. The image shared on his Stories appeared on his Instagram stories on Wednesday night – a happy, sun-kissed 2021 holiday throwback of the smiling Beckham boys, David, Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo.
- Cruz had previously blocked Brooklyn on the platform. Initially, it was reported that Brooklyn and Nicola had unfollowed Romeo, 22, and Cruz, but a friend of Brooklyn’s said that wasn’t the case. “Brooklyn had no idea until he read about it online,” the source told The Sun. “It’s possible Romeo and Cruz blocked them, which would make it appear as him no longer following the brothers.”
- The singer and guitarist made fun of his brother’s entrepreneurial habits earlier this year. A fan posed the question, “Are you going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something?” on a video of Cruz playing guitar. He retorted, “Wrong brother mate,” with a blunt nod.
- The Beckham family feud has been rumbling on since May, when Brooklyn and his wife skipped David’s milestone 50th birthday bash. But it’s thought things were turning sour long before. It’s claimed issues were brewing in the run-up to the lavish three-day wedding of Victoria and David’s eldest son Brooklyn in Palm Beach, Florida in April 2022.
- Brooklyn has also been a victim of other significant events, including his father’s knighthood. Brooklyn kept quiet, at least in public, while the rest of the family contributed to the award celebration.
