With an option to buy clause, Everton are close to reaching an agreement to loan England winger Katie Robinson from Aston Villa this summer.
Although the agreement is still unfinished, Robinson plans to have a medical appointment at Everton on Wednesday.
Robinson, who left Brighton for free in 2024, has a year left on her current deal with Villa.
The 22-year-old Lionesses squad reached the Women’s World Cup final in 2023 as a result of Sarina Wiegman’s youngest selection.
Last season, she made 16 appearances for Villa, but she only started five games between January and May under new manager Natalia Arroyo.
Robinson, a promising young forward with high potential, impressed while she was at Brighton.
Before joining Everton on loan, Brian Sorensen had experience working with young English talent, including Jess Park from Manchester City and Aggie Beever-Jones from Chelsea.
