After Bournemouth successfully appealed his red card in their 1-1 Premier League draw with Manchester United on Sunday, Evanilson’s suspension was reinstated.
Following a video assistant referee (VAR) review, the striker was initially given a yellow card for a challenge on Noussair Mazraoui.
As he shut down the United defender, Evanilson gave the impression of slipping.
Following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal, an independent regulatory commission removed Evanilson’s three-game ban, according to a statement from the Football Association.
With only four games left, Bournemouth are tenth in the table.
