Christian Eriksen does not anticipate signing for a new Premier League club while he is at Manchester United this summer.
The 33-year-old Danish international joined the team for free in July 2022.
Following a cardiac arrest during Euro 2020, he returned to his football career after a brief spell at Brentford.
Eriksen has made 66 Premier League appearances for Manchester United, but only 16 of those have been made this year.
He claimed there haven’t been any discussions over a new deal because his contract expires this summer.
The Dane said, “I haven’t heard anything from the club, and I therefore assume that the collaboration will end.”
“I’m prepared to discover something fresh,” she said. That’s fine with me. I haven’t yet decided where it will be.
Eriksen moved to Inter Milan after beginning his career with Ajax and spending seven years there.
Before he left Manchester United, Spurs had been interested in returning Eriksen to the club.
Eriksen continued, “The intention is not to stay in England.”
“We are not going that far,” I said when I said I would not travel to the USA. It’s too soon to return to Denmark, but we’d like to stay in Europe.
