Megan Jones, England’s vice-captain, has agreed to join the Tigers of Leicester for the 2025-26 Premiership Women’s rugby season.
Jones has previously represented the Bristol Bears and Wasps, and has previously played for the Tigers and Bristol Bears. He can play as a center or fly-half.
As England neares a second Grand Slam, the 28-year-old has scored three tries in three games and has been capped by the Red Roses 24 times.
Jones claims she is looking forward to “challenging” herself in the club’s new setting in Ealing.
Jones, who was born in Cardiff, has also won bronze at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and competed at the Olympics in Tokyo and Paris.
Before the start of this spring’s Six Nations, head coach John Mitchell appointed her vice-captain of the squad after making her England debut in 2015 as an 18-year-old.
“Megan has a remarkable rugby pedigree,” said Trailfinders head coach Barney Maddison.
“Here, both at the domestic and international levels, will provide our squad with invaluable leadership,” she said.
