YouTube sensation Emma Chamberlain revealed her biggest insecurities to fans in a heartfelt confession
Social media sensation Emma Chamberlain has made a heart-breaking admission about her ‘biggest insecurity’.
The 24-year-old YouTube star held a virtual sleepover during her latest podcast episode called ‘Let’s Pretend We’re Having a Sleepover’.
During the 45-minute show, uploaded on September 18th, she played a solo round of truth or dare. As she was recording by herself, Emma looked up random questions and challenges online.
The podcast took a more serious tone when the influencer came across a question asking her to reveal her insecurities, reports the Mirror US.
Speaking on her Anything Goes Podcast, Emma said: “Oh my God, I just realised what my biggest insecurity is.
“My biggest insecurity is my sexualness. I feel insecure, this is so TMI (too much information), but this is what sleepovers are for.”
She went on to explain: “I feel insecure about my ability to be hot to a guy. I feel like I’m not naturally the type to be super flirty [or] super feminine. I’m not a super outwardly sexual person necessarily.
“That’s something that makes me insecure sometimes because I feel like that’s something that boys that I like probably desire.”
Rather than being “flirtatious” with her partners, Emma admitted that she “friendzones” herself.
“It’s almost a defence mechanism [where] I try to be their friend instead of being flirtatious and exciting,” she added.
Whilst the candid revelation might surprise her followers, many are already familiar with Emma’s romantic past.
Most recently, she’s been linked to musician Peter McPoland, with whom she’s been seen on occasion since May 2024.
The duo sparked further dating speculation after they were spotted in matching Wallace and Gromit Halloween costumes last year, but they’ve yet to confirm their relationship status.
Prior to Peter, the YouTube star was notably in a relationship with pop star Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury.
The pair went public with their romance in February 2023, and confirmed their split later that year.
This remains Emma’s most high-profile relationship to date, with Role Model even penning a song for Emma titled after her middle name, Frances.
