Beyonce, Raye, and Kate Nash, three other female powerhouses, have inspired Emelia Sande.

After getting tired of being told what to do by big companies, the Next To Me singer has founded Venus Records so that she can take full control of her career. She claims to be incorporating fierce energy into her music without resorting to the romantic tunes we are accustomed to.

But that’s not to say Emeli, 37, isn’t blissfully happy. She even disclosed that Yoana Karemova’s wedding is scheduled for the following year. Emmeli reacted to reports that their engagement had been postponed. “We keep saying this, but definitely next year. It’s just trying to make plans. Maybe we’ll start small and then get married. Save a bit of money.

I just want to play it in a beautiful forest with lots of lovely music. The delays are understandable because Emeli has been working independently since last week and is currently recording her debut solo album Roots.

She continued, “Sometimes, you make the music and it is passed to another team, who decide how it comes out.” I was able to do that myself after gaining a lot of experience. Emeli said she had to fight to be heard in public despite spending 20 years in the music industry. I’ve always felt resilient. I felt like I should have really put my foot forward in matters that might not have been a topic of conversation.

“With my first song Heaven, I remember really having to fight. I was like, I think the song’s finished. And they’re like, no, it needs this, it needs that. Or we need you to fly over to LA and try this, that, and the other. When you can’t get your music to the people, that becomes annoying. She claims that the current wave of powerful women battling for their lives and embracing music has encouraged her.

“People like Raye and Kate Nash speaking out really inspire me.” When I was younger, I always believed that I had to be a good girl and never flaunt my good nature. I believe it’s a great time for women to take control of their careers because the industry has changed so much.

Fans can expect a different vibe from Emeli, who is working on her upcoming album. There have been many love songs, but this one is different and has more depth to it. I’ll return to the piano, so it’ll be quite simple but hopefully very deep. I hope it resonates”. We can’t wait to hear what you’ve got in store.
