The Legislation to Modify the 2025 Secret Cult and Related Activities Prohibition Law has been approved by the Edo State House of Assembly.

After that, the House resolved to adopt the committee’s two findings and one recommendation before conducting a bill-by-clause discussion.

A bill for a law to establish the Edo State Emergency Management Agency was a bill for a law passed by the governor of the state, Monday Okpebholo, during the plenary session.
The Rt. Hon. The Committee on Rules, Business, and Government House received the bill after blessing Sherriff Agbebaku for further consideration.
The following bills were stepped down for consideration at a later time during plenary, too:
A Bill to amend the 2025 amendments to the Edo State Lottery Establishment Law, the Edo State Lottery Regulation, and related matters.
A Bill to amend the Edo Rural Access Road Agency (RARA) Law to address the management, rehabilitation, construction, reconstruction, maintenance, and related issues (First Reading).
