The Slater sister actresses’ lives have all changed from EastEnders staples to personal tragedy and a new career as security in B&amp, M Bargains.

Excited EastEnders fans are bracing for a bombshell – Michelle Ryan appears be returning to Albert Square!

The 41-year-old TV star famously played Zoe Slater on the BBC soap from 2000 until 2005, and appearing in 559 episodes and her character was involved in one of the most explosive and iconic lines of soap history.

Who could have forgotten when she famously yelled, “You ain’t my mother,” to Jessie Wallace’s character Kat Slater? The explosive response, “Yes I am,” was delivered by Kat as he scrambled back. and established the family’s status as EastEnders royalty.

Of course, the pair are two of five Slater sisters. Ahead of her expected Walford return, the Mirror remembers them all with their five lives going in very different directions since they found fame.

Jessie Wallace continued working in soapland, even when the Slater family dwindled and has been on and off the soap for almost 25 years. She was dramatically suspended from the BBC show early 2020 after being accused of being drunk on set.

Jessie, 53, was briefly cut out of the storyline universe before making a triumphant comeback two months later. She has previously had trouble with BBC bosses due to her partying.

She was previously suspended from the show in the 2000s, and she was later found guilty of drink-driving in 2003. She was expelled from the British Soap Awards in 2018 for being a “tipsy” woman, but she continues to be a Square legend.

Katie Jarvis made her Slater debut in 2018, but she didn’t stay long on the Swquare.

The 32-year-old has two children and has switched from acting to working as a security guard at B&amp, M Bargains in Romford, east London.

Katie previously told the Daily Star, “I’ve taken a step back from acting.” I have a job and take care of my kids.

She will be tried in May 2021 after making an appearance in Basildon Crown Court for assault and racial aggravated harassment.

The actress was accused of two counts of beating and racially aggravated harassment.

She was bailed until her trial date of April 19th, following a brief briefing in court, where she only spoke to confirm her personal information and refute the four accusations.

The allegations relate to a rumored incident that occurred in Southend, Essex, on July 31, 2020.

Returning Zoe Slater was the baby sister of the Slater clan and was portrayed by Michelle Ryan. Since leaving the Square, Michelle has continued to act and has starred in several high shows including Doctor Who, Mansfield Park, Miss Marple and Merlin.

In the Bionic Woman reboot, Zoe also took on Jaime Sommers’ lead role, but it was sadly dropped after only one series. Michelle played Helena from A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the BBC Learning project, Off By Heart Shakespeare, in 2011. 2.

Michelle also performed in a production of Cabaret in 2012, which was staged in the West End of London, and now fans can’t wait to see her big comeback to Walford.

Kacey Ainsworth, who is renowned for her role as the quiet Slater sister Little Mo, left EastEnders in 2006, is credited with doing so.

The actor later appeared in The Worst Witch, Grantchester, and The Bill and Holby Blue. Katey has almost disappeared since she first appeared in EastEnders, opting instead for platinum blonde hair.

She has also embraced a shorter look by tying her former shoulder-length hair into a chic bob.

From 2000 to 2004, Elaine Lordan acted Lynne Hobbs on the soap.

Elaine left the soap a year later, and her only trip to the jungle was for I’m A Celebrity, which she only survived by consuming alcohol twice. She was the first celeb to have her vote rejected, despite having previously starred on Soapstar Superstar in 2007.

After marrying her husband, Peter Manuel, in 2005, their son, who was just a few days old, died in his own tragic circumstances.

The baby had a diaphragmatic hernia operation, and tragically passed away nine months after Elaine’s mother, Bernie, committed suicide. Elaine and her husband were expecting a second child two years later, but she miscarried and lost her father just one more year.
