According to reports, Dua Lipa and her fiance Callum Turner have established a production company. After months of speculation, the pop singer finally confirmed their engagement this summer.
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner appear to have now teamed up professionally as well as romantically by launching their own production company.
According to newly filed documents, the pair have set up TwentyTwo Films Limited with equal ownership split between them. The business is officially registered under “motion picture and programme production activities”, so it looks like the celebs are ready to explore the world of filmmaking together.
A source told The Sun : “Dua and Callum are both very ambitious people and have lots of plans for ventures they want to do together. She has dipped her toe in film before. But if she does further projects, she wants to have more creative control.”
She and Callum both stated that they “have a lot of ideas that they believe would work.” The wheels are still moving, despite its still very early days.
The couple is acclimating to Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley, who co-founded LuckyChap Productions and later produced critically acclaimed films like I, Tonya, Saltburn, and Barbie, the international phenomenon.
Dua, 30, first sparked engagement rumours last Christmas when she was spotted wearing a dazzling diamond ring in a festive photo on Instagram.
In July she confirmed the news during her British Vogue cover interview, gushing about the special bond she shares with Callum.
She responded, “Yes, we’re engaged.” It’s very exciting, she said. It’s a really special feeling to make the decision to age together, to see a life together, and to be best friends forever, I don’t know.
The singer, who is a fan of Rina, revealed that Turner had input from her sister and close friend. She continued, “I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me. It’s nice to know that the person you’re going to spend the rest of your life is familiar with you.
The couple isn’t rushing to the altar, despite the fact that they made the decision to adorn it. We’re just enjoying this time, Dua said, “I want to finish my tour and finish Callum’s shooting.” Never have I had the luxury of considering a wedding or having a dream about becoming a bride. What would I wear all of a sudden? “Oh, what would I do?”
The River Cafe’s co-founder Ruth Rogers introduced the couple after they first met at the restaurant where they had first met. Later, they accidentally met each other in Los Angeles, and they began dating in January 2024.
Callum’s star is rising in the world of film, despite Dua’s fame for her musical work. The 35-year-old London-born actor has appeared in the films Fantastic Beasts, Emma, and Masters of the Air.
He has even been tipped as a frontrunner to become the next James Bond, with betting odds placing him ahead of Henry Cavill and Jacob Elordi.
