Drag Race winner Tyra’s ex-pal issues furious ‘promise’ over vile The Vivienne tweets

Tyra Sanchez has been publicly criticised by RuPaul’s Drag Race stars for their obscene posts following The Vivienne’s passing.

Tributes have been pouring in for drag star The Vivienne, real name James Lee Williams, after they died aged 32 over the weekend. In response to a 2020 post from The Vivienne, Tyra took to social media within hours to post a number of hateful tweets written in response.

The Vivienne wrote: “Bet Tyra was furious when she realized Netflix Spoiled the win Too. Sorry gal. You Tried though”. Adding a new response, Tyra penned: “Yet it doesn’t compare to the fumes of the crematorium”. In the background of Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire,” Tyra continued to operate despite the backlash, posting a picture of a crematorium with the words “songs I would play if I owned a crematorium.”

Drag star and angrier-than-us former friend Kandy Muse threatened to retaliate after the shocking posts. “I’ve defended you for years, but now you can go f**k yourself,” he said, “I promise you that if our paths ever cross, it’s never a threat, but it’s a promise.” You disgusting person”.

Fans have also been outraged at Tyra’s posts. One person raged: “You are so f****** disgusting”. In response to Tyra’s vile outbursts, some have requested that RuPaul remove her Drag Race crown. A fan bagged: “@RuPaul take away Tyra Sanchez’s win now. You should disregard anything that has to do with her, just like you did Sherry Pie, because the s**t she posted had no right to permit her to remain in the hall of fame. This slide is a real ripoff.

In a symbolic but powerful act, another added, “I believe #RuPaul should take Tyra Sanchez’ crown and give it to #Raven.” That girl’s level of disrespect has already exceeded her personal standards when she criticizes The Vivienne.
