Lady Victoria surprised him with a massive Christmas tree, which she claimed she had decorated herself, and Sir David Beckham has recreated his viral “be honest” moment with his wife.
Sir David Beckham has recreated his viral ‘be honest’ moment with his wife Lady Victoria. The former footballer, 50, famously pushed his wife to tell viewers of his Netflix documentary the truth after she claimed to have come from a “working class” background despite being driven to school in a Rolls Royce.
On Sunday, the recently-knighted sports legend was seen alongside Victoria as she unveiled the massive Christmas tree in their multi-million pound London house, which she claimed to have decorated herself. She told her followers: “The tree is ready. Feeling like an overachiever, I can’t lie. It’s a big tree. We’ve never been so ready for Christmas. Ready for David’s…”
David turned his head around the door just as he did in the documentary. He remarked, “Be sincere”! before asking, “Did you really decorate that tree?” Victoria responded, “Is that a nice surprise?” and he responded, “Very nice, Mrs. Claus!”

You two are too adorable, they say. One fan complained about how her voice sounded when she heard him. “Literally my favorite couple,” added a second. Thirdly, “The be honest is so iconic now.”
Fashion designer Victoria, 51, met footballer David when she was at the height of her pop star fame with the Spice Girls almost 30 years ago, and they went on to have Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, as well as 14-year-old Harper together.
She took to social media shortly after David received the monarch’s knighthood for his contributions to sport and charitable causes at Windsor Castle last month.
She remarked, “David, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country since I first met you 28 years ago.” No one will forever cherish your honor, whether you’re playing on or off the field, and no one will respect or love England more.
You are still the same kind, devout, hardworking person I met nearly 30 years ago as well as your most amazing husband and father. Despite all of your accomplishments, you are still the same. Never have I felt more proud than I am today. We all adore you dearly, sir @davidbeckham xxxxx.
Following the announcement that the footballer player would at last receive the dream accolade, his partner shared a heartfelt message on Instagram. She wrote next to a photograph of her hugging her husband: “You’ve always been my knight in shining armour, but now it’s official. Sir David Beckham!
What a privilege, I can’t help but be proud of you. Your commitment to the things that matter most, including your family, your job, your passions, and most importantly, your country, has never faltered.
“The way you’ve touched so many lives with kindness and humility over the years speaks volumes about the man you are and continue to inspire us every day. But I’m so, so proud to call you mine before all else. I’m so in love with you.
David himself was also moved when the announcement was made, telling PA: “Growing up in east London with parents and grandparents who were so patriotic and proud to be British, I never could have imagined I would receive such a truly humbling honour.
He continued, “I’m so fortunate to be able to do the work I do, and I’m grateful to be recognized for the work I do that gives me so much fulfillment.
“It will take a little while for the news to sink in but I’m immensely proud and it’s such an emotional moment for me to share with my family.” The sports star had been widely tipped for the honour and was reportedly set to receive a knighthood in 2022, but leaked emails from 2017 in which he purportedly criticised the honours system and its committee scuppered those plans.
