Manchester United legend David Beckham is launching a clothing brand just like his top designer wife Victoria. It is understood the former England midfielder’s latest venture will be a nod to the couple’s 14-year-old daughter, Harper.
The brand’s logo, which has seven vertical lines, with the final stroke facing to the right, has been trademarked by his holding company, DB Ventures Ltd.
The shirt number worn by Beckham at United was number 7 and Harper’s middle name is Seven. He also has seven in Roman numerals inked on his arm. The number has spiritual meaning and also signifies good fortune for the former England captain.
When Harper was born, there was much speculating at the time. She reportedly weighed 7 pounds and 10 ounces, according to reports.
She also arrived into the world at 0755 LA time and was born in the seventh month.
He wants to sell “Clothing, footwear, and headgear,” according to documents obtained from the UK’s Intellectual Property Office.
In the UK, they have already received rubber stamps.
Bootleggers can stop stealing the design from the trademark for ten years.
