Dave Mallow, best known for his role as the villain Baboo in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, has passed away at the age of 76.
Dave portrayed Baboo, one of Rita Repulsa’s henchmen, in the popular 90s series. His character was a fan favourite among viewers of the show. Aside from his work on Power Rangers, Dave provided voices for various video game characters, including roles in the Warcraft series. He also voiced characters in Digimon: Digital Monsters, further establishing his versatile voice acting career.
Reports from TMZ confirm that Dave passed away on Tuesday while in hospice care at the MonteCedro Senior Living Community in California. A source close to the actor shared that his health had been steadily deteriorating in recent years. In addition to his acting work, Mallow was a talented writer and director, contributing to several anime projects throughout his career.
