Danny Jones’ wife Georgia opened up about being on “a very different page” to her husband following his win in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.

The McFly star and his wife have found themselves in the spotlight after Danny, 38, was seen sharing what seemed to be smooch with campmate Maura Higgins at a BRIT Awards afterparty. A source told The Sun that the pair “seemed to be having a great time” and it “looked like they had a brief drunken kiss”.

Danny and Georgia, a former Miss England beauty queen, have been together since 2009 and are parents to their seven-year-old son Cooper. Georgia is also the co-host of the parenting podcast Mum’s The Word, in which she discussed the realities of solo parenting while Danny appeared in the latest series of I’m A Celeb.

Back in December, Danny became the second member of McFly to be crowned King Of The Jungle after beating Coleen Rooney. Following his victory Down Under, Georgia shone a light on being reunited with her husband and joked that she needed “silence” after spending three weeks managing a house move while looking after their seven-year-old son Cooper and navigating her career.

Speaking on her podcast in December, the model shared: “I was like, do you know what? F*** it. I’m going to do it. I need to be on my own. I need silence. I can’t hear – I can’t hear people needing me anymore. I can’t. I can’t do it.”

In an Instagram post following the trip, Georgia revealed that she’d headed to a cabin in Shropshire where she spent her time reading and building fires. Amidst her busy life, she added that it gave her a “nugget of calm” away from her day-to-day life.

“I was going into this New Year burnt out. Everything I didn’t want to feel entering 2025… I felt. Over a month of solo parenting, moving house on my own, working hard on my career whilst Danny was in the jungle with snakes in his pants was A LOT!,” she wrote.

She added: “So… I booked a little cabin in the middle of nowhere, somewhere near Shropshire, and found a little nugget of calm in my overwhelmed brain. I chopped fire wood, built fires, sat in silence, read books, slept, took in the views, watched the sheep in the nearby field… and it was perfect.”

But despite the difficulties of navigating a major house move during Danny’s time in the jungle, Georgia has opened up about the pride she has for her husband. With Danny having previously admitted to being scared of snakes, the Five Colours singer impressed viewers at home during Bushtucker Trials – even in those that involved the reptiles.

“I was really pleased for him. I mean, fair does – he was great in there. It was great,” Georgia said on her podcast. When asked by co-presenter Kelsey Parker if she thought he was going to win, she added: “Yeah. He’s such a likeable character, and I knew he was going to bosh the tasks even though he was scared,” she said on her podcast.

However, she also revealed that she and Danny were on a “different page” post-jungle thanks to their experiences. “He’d go through a really mindful experience, but he came out to a wife that was, like, couldn’t be more further from life,” she laughed.

“The two worlds didn’t quite match with one another because I was so happy for him but I was also a broken woman. An exhausted, broken woman, that was still jetlagged. So I was on a very different page to him.”

During his time on the ITV show, Georgia proudly cheered on her husband and flew to Australia to be with fellow family and friends of Danny’s campmates. In one particularly emotional moment from this year’s series, the McFly star broke down in tears when he reunited with Georgia and Cooper in the jungle.

“He’s been doing amazing, he said he wanted to make you proud didn’t he, and show you how to be brave. We think he’s achieved that,” Georgia told the camera. Looking at their son while speaking about Danny, she added: “He’s doing a smashing job isn’t he, sweetheart? We’re very proud. We’ve been watching non-stop haven’t we?”

Danny added: “Honestly this place is an amazing place, even though it’s been challenging. It just makes you realise how much you love people and you put stuff into perspective.”
