Former Love Island star Dani Dyer is gearing up for her intimate wedding with footballer Jarrod Bowen as she puts the finishing touches on her Bridgerton inspired day
Dani Dyer is busy planning her happily ever after following years of heartbreak as she prepares to walk down the aisle to footballer Jarrod Bowen. The Love Island star, 28, is putting the finishing touches on their big day which is set to take place next month.
She has already given fans and Jarrod a glimpse of what she’ll look like at the altar as she partied on her first hen do wearing a classy white gown. The couple share twin daughters, Summer and Star, and Dani is also a mum to Santiago, 4, whose dad is her ex-partner, Sammy Kimmence.
They revealed they have opted for a small wedding, after Jarrod popped the question while on a romantic boat trip in Ibiza last summer. Despite trying to keep numbers low, the pair are not compromising on style or elegance.
It is expected to be a party like no other as details of the big day have now emerged. Dani and Jarrod will say their ‘I dos’ in the English countryside and will stay apart from each other the night before their wedding.
Sticking to tradition, Dani will reportedly stay with her famous dad Danny Dyer and mum Jo. The EastEnders star is set to walk his daughter down the aisle, while Summer and Star will be flower girls.
Dani has opted for a Bridgerton themes bash for less than 50 guests. It will be a huge contrast to Danny and Jo’s extravagant do where they headed to Spain with over 100 friends and family.
The reality TV star is said to want lots of violins and will be supported by those closest to her. Jarrod’s little brother and Dani’s son Santi will be page boys while her brother Arty is a groomsman.
Dani is also set to have six bridesmaids. A friend told the Sun: “I have never known Dani to be so calm. She’s got so much to organise and think about but she is taking it all in her stride.
“There is a type of serenity and peacefulness within her as if she’s exactly where she is meant to be in life.” Dani previously revealed she and Jarrod will be having a small wedding.
Speaking to her Instagram followers last year, the former Love Island star said: “I honestly can see why people elope and then have a big party, because the guest list I honestly found so difficult.”
She continued: “I’m getting married in like five months. I can’t believe it. I’m so excited for you all to see.” Dani also confirmed she will be using a double barrel surname of Dyer-Bowen after the ceremony.
Speaking to Fabulous in November, she also revealed her dream vibe for their big day. “We’ve found the venue, which is beautiful. It’s giving Bridgerton vibes. I want violins,” she said.
“I’m just praying it doesn’t rain. We’re getting married in the UK, so you never know!” However, she is adamant one thing would have her call off the occasion.
Speaking to the Sun, Dani spoke about her anxieties around her hen do as well as Jarrod’s stag do reportedly set to take place in Las Vegas. Dani said: “If he comes home with a tattoo on his face then the wedding is off.
“My dad and Jarrod’s dad Sam are going too.” And speaking of her own hen do, she said said she had some very specific requests with regards to the tone and details of the trip. She confirmed: “There are 17 of us going to Ibiza O Beach…I want willy straws. I’m thinking it should be chaotic and fun, but a bit classy.”
