Dan Edgar fuels romance reunion rumours with ex during his Dancing On Ice debut

Dan Edgar has ignited speculation about rekindling his romance with ex-girlfriend Ella Rae Wise after she was seen supporting him during his debut on Dancing On Ice.

When questioned by host Stephen Mulhern about their relationship status, Ella remained non-committal, yet her presence and encouragement have fuelled rumours of a reunion. Stephen playfully asked Ella if she would consider going on a date with him if she was single, to which she bluntly responded: “No. “

Ella later sparked more speculation by posting a photo from the Dancing On Ice studio on Instagram, urging her followers to “vote for Dan. ” Towie’s Tom Pearce and James ‘Diags’ Bennewith were also in the audience supporting their Towie co-star.

Ella and Dan’s relationship has been marked by turbulence, including flings, cheating allegations, and public disputes, notably a high-profile argument on The Only Way Is Essex. Recently, Ella was rumoured to be involved with businessman Teddy Brunt, but her attendance at Dan’s performance suggests a possible reconciliation.

Dan may also be forced to come face to face with another ex as Kate Ferdinand is expected to be in the Dancing On Ice studio. Kate, who went on to marry former footballer Rio Ferdinand, is anticipated to make an appearance to support her brother-in-law, Anton, who is set to also take on the dancing competition. Dan was in a relationship with Kate, 33, when they both starred on The Only Way Is Essex before their break-up amid rumours that he cheated on Kate.

When they appeared on TOWIE, Dan was accused of cheating on Kate when he kissed fellow star Chloe Lewis, but he insisted at the time that he had already separated from Kate. Now, they might meet again as Kate is expected to be in the studio to cheer on her brother-in-law, Anton Ferdinand, who will be taking to the ice.

Despite saying that their break up wasn’t “overly bad”, Dan admits that he has not spoken to Kate since. Speaking to The Sun ahead of his appearance on Dancing On Ice, Dan said: “I’ve made some stupid mistakes in the past but we weren’t together at the time I kissed Chloe. I wasn’t emotionally mature enough back then to deal with a relationship of that longevity. It was young love. ”

Despite being together, on and off, for two years, Dan described it as if being “married 30 years” and that they were “annoying each other” when together. Nowadays, he admits their lives have taken different paths and have gone in “completely different directions”.

Dan has said their relationship was “part of the journey” in his life, along with his other previous relationships. He said that Kate sent “a really lovely message” to his mum after he appeared on the ITV show.
