Cross River Govt Endorses Awaade Of Lagos Theatre-thon Guinness Attempt

Awade Jacob Awade, aka Awaade of Lagos, has been given the support of the Cross River State government for his ongoing attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest theatrical performance of any person.

State Commissioner for Information Erasmus Ekpang stated that the government is aware of the young crossriverian’s official attempt and has received assurances of massive support when speaking at the location of the attempt.

Ekpang added that the government will do everything in its power to promote noble ideas that will permanently place Cross River State on the global map in the hopes of shaping the fate of Crossriverers through the current administration’s “People First” mantra.

The state information boss reaffirmed the administration’s skill in restoring human dignity by ensuring periodic visits and providing material support for the project.

Michael Odere, the State Commissioner for Finance, and other well-intentioned Nigerians came with the information commissioner for a visit.

Awade is currently attempting to break Adrian Hilton’s 1987 record.

Adrian Hilton (UK) recited Shakespeare’s entire works for 110 hours and 46 minutes, setting the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon theater performance by a person.
