Their Tik-Tok videos have taken the Internet by storm.
But one of the Thomas family’s latest films has sparked a fierce debate online. Former Corrie star Ryan Thomas is seen dancing with his actress daughter Scarlett and brother Scott to I Say a Little Prayer, in a video which has amassed nearly 4million views.
But the video has sparked hundreds of comments, with some fans believing the video which sees the 16-year-old wearing a croptop and low-flung trousers, to be “inappropriate”.
But many hit back saying she was just having fun – and urged people to leave her and the family alone.
One of the video’s critics said: “Immediately thought this was wrong”, while another claimed: “If I was her mother I’d be really concerned about these videos they make just so the men can stay relevant”.

But others said the video was harmless and urged people to “get a grip”. One said: “Scarlett looks pretty and dresses like most her age. If anyone sees a problem with it, they are the one with the problem”. Another said: “I love the clothes you are wearing …please ignore the trolls”. A third added: “Get a grip people…. keep doing what you’re doing and be the amazing people you are”.
The videos, which also feature Scarlett’s uncle Adam, have had millions of views. The account boasts more than half a million followers. Scarlett is no stranger to the limelight. As well as the star of her own Tik Toks, she is most well known for her role as Izzy Charles in Waterloo Road. Her mum is Corrie actress Tina O’Brien.
The Thomas brothers ‘ previous videos have previously featured Scarlett. One which has amassed more than 10million views sees them play a game in which Scarlett asked a series of questions by her dad and two uncles.
The game then took an unexpected turn when Scarlett asked: ‘ How many boys have I kissed? ‘ Scott and Adam’s jaws dropped before they burst into laughter, while Ryan appeared stunned, before asking for the game to ‘ cut. ‘
Ryan is said to have a strained relationship with Scarlett’s mum. Three years ago Tina was accused of smashing a wing mirror off Ryan’s Range Rover with a baseball bat. Tina, who first played Sarah on the cobbles in 1999, began dating Ryan in 2003 after splitting with Corrie actor Bruno Langley.
She said at the time that she and Ryan were “for keeps”, adding: “We’ll be together for ever, fingers crossed. I can’t see myself with anyone else”. Tina, who went on to find love in 2016 with now husband Adam Crofts, said in an interview that year: “Everyone has moved on and is in a happy place”. She added: “Ryan is really happy and we are happy, so there aren’t any issues”.
