I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! was a rumored incident where Christina McGuinness addressed her. and joked that she would return to the hotel “within a day.”

Christine McGuinness all but confirmed she will be heading Down Under to take part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2025 during an exclusive chat with the Mirror at this year’s Pride Of Britain Awards.

When asked if she would be entering the jungle, the former model and her close friend Will Njobvu laughed as they walked out on the red carpet. “I don’t want to spill the tea, but…” began with Will, as Christine was then questioned about what was happening the rest of the year. “I’m A Celeb”! Will laughed as Christine made up jokes that if she said anything, she would face punishment.

“I’m terrified of everything, including snakes, spiders, and everything in between.” Christine gushed about how she would cope in the infamous jungle and said, “I couldn’t eat anything. I’m not eating any cockroaches.”

She continued: “I probably wouldn’t bring a lot, I think I’d be back in the hotel in about a day! But I also wouldn’t want to say ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” because I wouldn’t want to call myself a celebrity!”

Elsewhere at the star-studded event, former Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu teased she would be joining Christine in the I’m A Celebrity jungle later this year.

She continued, “I think I’m a celeb is definitely something I’ve been practicing for. I spotted a large spider in my closet and wore it like an Australian huntsman, and I vowed to God because I never knew I might need it for the show. She continued, “I will put on a brave face if I see someone cute on the show.”

It comes as ITV’s hit show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! is returning, and several stars are already rumoured to be taking part. The show, which started in 2002, has been running for 24 series.

Vogue Williams is also said to be close to signing up for this year’s show. If she did, she would be the second in her family to do so, as husband, Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews camped under the stars on the ITV show a decade ago.

I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, the all-star version of the ITV reality show, is to return for a second series in 2026. The show, which sees memorable cast members from previous editions of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! return to face new challenges in the South African wilderness, will see Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly return to host and air on ITV1, STV and ITVX.

Its debut series in 2023 was won by former Hear’Say member Myleene Klass, and saw contestants including Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder, ex-England cricketer Phil Tufnell, former Countdown co-host Carol Vorderman, and ex-Olympian Fatima Whitbread return to the show.

In a new aspect of the show, the audience will be able to choose the show’s live grand final broadcast from the UK in 2026.

We can’t wait to return for more trials, challenges, and surprises amongst the stunning South African landscape, according to McPartlin. “The campmates really brought their A-game to the first series.

We’ve heard that some of the new trials are truly epic, even by I’m A Celeb standards, and having a live final is an exciting addition to the new series.

The show’s exact air date has not yet been announced.
