In a candid new conversation, Christine McGuinness reveals how their divorce was the “huge decision.”

Christine McGuinness has opened up about how divorcing her husband Paddy McGuinness was the “hardest decision” of her life. Speaking in a new interview she confessed that ending their 11 year marriage was incredibly difficult as she came to terms with what was happening between them

Christine, 37, appears on the new episode of the Tea Time podcast with Will Njobvu, which was released on Sunday evening. During the chat she discussed a variety of topics including her life since her divorce, as well as what it felt like being pictured kissing a girl for the first time.

The model also addresses the topics of autism, and mental health, as she addresses her recent medical diagnoses and confesses if she would like to take part in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! Speaking about her divorce she said, “Divorcing Paddy McGuinness was the hardest decision of my life.

Sometimes, “Love isn’t enough,” says the saying. I said that I’m disrespecting myself if I continue to allow this right now. You must have your boundaries in place because it’s difficult to leave quietly. Let’s just end it amicably before things get worse.

The mother-of-three also admitted that because of the noise outside, she “begged her doctor for assistance.” Christine addresses her current housing situation while on the podcast, where she and Paddy still reside.

Christine made the announcement in the open conversation that she intends to write a tell-all memoir about her experiences. After previously publishing an autobiography that was released in 2021, Christine is no stranger to writing about her life.

She has now confirmed that she is thinking about writing a sequel to her own book, which she describes as a sincere ode to those who have supported her. Her relationship with Take Me Out personality Paddy McGuinness and her career as a follow-up to her memoir, which chronicled her rise to fame and relationship with her at the time of publication.

The actress has experienced a lot of change since her breakup with the television host and recent autism diagnosis.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Christine shared, “I did an autobiography about four years ago and some big things have happened since then. It would be amazing to do a second one; I can write about what happened next – I love writing.”

In a book, Christine has had plenty to talk about despite going through some significant life changes in the last four years. She continued, “I’ve never written about having autism and ADHD in my writings. That period of my life and other things can I write about.

She’s also expected to reveal details about her recent breakup with husband Paddy and also discuss her recent breakup with his wife. She vows to keep her distance and that she needs to reveal everything about her turbulent past four years.

It’s amazing to be able to write an autobiography, she continued. You must be open and private when doing one. You must accept it.
