After their previous relationships ended over the summer, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin reportedly ‘seen’ dating Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
Sophie Turner is reportedly dating Coldplay star Chris Martin following her split from aristocrat boyfriend Peregrine Pearson. The Game Of Thrones star reportedly went on a low key date with the singer after the demise of her two year relationship with Peregrine.
Chris, 48, has been single for a few months after his eight year relationship with Dakota Johnson, 35, ended in June when they called time on their engagement. Sophie, 29, and Peregrine appeared to be on and off over the summer before officially splitting following a high-society wedding in late September.
At the time the pair were reportedly seen arguing between kissing passionately on the dancefloor. However, Sophie appeared to not be too heartbroken over the split as she reportedly went on a date with Chris just a week later.
Chris has been spending time in London over the summer after the band had a string of live dates scheduled at Wembley stadium for their Music Of The Spheres tour. Meanwhile, sources told The Sun that Peregrine is also moving on and was seen in a nightclub in London last week holding hands with a leggy blonde.
Sophie’s brief reconciliation with Peregrine was also reported by the publication as having been seen on the popular dating app Raya in August. Her profile at the time had nine photos, some of which showed her taking a photo of herself, including one of her dancing in her hotel room.
Her hobbies included “music, pasta, movies, family, sun, and friends,” according to the app’s description. Just a few months after Joe Jonas, 36, and Sophie Jonas’ four-year marriage, Sophie was first revealed to be dating Peregrine in December of 2023.
Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, are their two daughters; Sophie and Joe got married in 2019. More than a year after Joe’s divorce was filed, the two men divorced in September 2024.
The Jonas Brothers star filed for divorce in September of that year, but the former couple finally agreed to end it. After his 2015 divorce from Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he has two children, Apple, 21, and Moses, Moses, 19, Chris and Dakota started dating in 2017.
However, despite getting engaged the pair officially split in June. At the time a source told the Daily Mail: “Their relationship has been over for a long time, they just haven’t been able to figure out to make it official.
Because she cherished both his and his children so much, Dakota fought for their bond.
The insider continued, “Breakups aren’t instant, and makeup and things would sometimes work when they weren’t together, while they were working.”
Because absence causes heart to become fonder, but eventually the two would rekindle, and minor things just kept adding up until they no longer were in love.
