Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa, the famous Big Brother finalists, opened up about their “evolving relationship” in a consoling new interview. The former Love Island star was left stuttering throughout.
Chris Hughes became visibly awkward and couldn’t get his words out in a new interview with JoJo Siwa when asked about the status of their relationship. The former Love Island star, developed a close bond with the Dance Moms star, 21, when they both entered the Celebrity Big Brother house last month.
The unlikely pair quickly cemented an incredibly close connection which left viewers convinced that there was more to their friendship than they let on as they insisted that Chris and JoJo ‘are in love’ with one another. While in the iconic house, JoJo was in a relationship with her partner of seven-months, Kath Ebbs. However, after growing so close to Chris, JoJo called it quits on the romance and drumped Australian Kath, 27, at the wrap party for the ITV show.
Chris and JoJo haven’t stopped spreading the rumors with their adorable and cozy photos. Chris even flew to Mexico last week to see JoJo perform live on her current tour, and he is currently in Orlando, Florida, where he spends more time with his ex-housemate.
The reality TV duo addressed their “evolving relationship” on Access Hollywood alongside presenters Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover. However, when Chris was questioned about the status of his relationship with JoJo, who is 11 years his junior, things started to get awkward.
“I didn’t know anything about JoJo, and likewise when we first got into the house, but I think when you’re in an environment like that – you’re literally stuck in a house, you don’t know anything about what’s going on in the outside world, there’s no phones and no connection with anyone – we formed our own connection.
Chris described his relationship with JoJo as “we bonded with each other, warmed to one another, and we just had so much fun.”
JoJo remarked, “You kind of can’t define it, it’s very special. ” When asked how they would define and describe the connection. Chris and I both agreed, but I couldn’t possibly explain it. I’d choose the adjective “Chris then started stuttering and becoming apparent awkward before laughing off and saying, “Oh, why am I speechless. What’s happening. God. “
Following the presenters’ confirmation that the Dance Moms star would be traveling back to London to spend more time with him, Chris informed them that he had attended one of JoJo’s recent shows in Mexico and that he had called it “pretty cool.” The pair are currently being rumored to be romantically involved.
Before making a hint that he plans to accompany JoJo on her current tour, Chris said, “She’s coming over to London next week, so that will be fun. I’ll be in the crowd, weaving and bopping. I had a very good night’s worth of watching her. Absolutely incredible show.
JoJo continued to be obedient to speculation that the pair were more than friends, but she admitted to crying a lot while Chris was away.
The Celebrity Big Brother finalist said that whenever she saw edits of the pair’s relationship from the show on TikTok, she would burst into tears. “I started to really, really, miss him. People were giving me all these memories but it was making me so happy but so sad at the same time.”
Chris then made hints that JoJo and Chris will collaborate as he confirmed that there have been “some discussions and communications about some things back home in the UK.”
