Chris Hughes, a Love Island star, has opened up about the beginning of his romance with singer JoJo Siwa, refuting a long-held myth about the Celebrity Big Brother star couple.
Chris Hughes has revealed the moment he declared his love for JoJo Siwa – confirming a theory that fans of the couple hatched months ago. The 32-year-old former Love Island contestant and the 22-year-old American singer first met each other on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year.
The pair, who stayed inside the famous house for 19 days before reaching the final, were one of the 13 stars who appeared on the ITV show in April. After meeting on the long-running reality series, Chris and JoJo did both win each other’s hearts.
When JoJo and Australian actor and content creator Kath Ebbs, 28, were spotted getting closer in front of the house, the viewers were confused. The pair argued, however, that their bond was unaffected by home use.

Fans were persuaded, though, that JoJo ditched Kath shortly after the live finale, leaving her with the impression that she was ready to start dating Chris.
Fans soon realized the romance had already begun when Chris and JoJo were spotted taking vacations in Mexico together a few days later. And now Chris has confirmed that their relationship started to blossom. On the Question The Default podcast, Chris reiterated that everything just happened, not forced or rushed.
He explained that he traveled to Mexico with his Celebrity Big Brother co-star and that she was there with her family, whom he also met and he met there.
Chris responded, “I surprised her, which was nice. Before flying home, I spent a few days with her and her family in Orlando, where everything all began.
Then, he said, “I met her in Mexico, and there it developed and things changed. which was lovely and kept to herself.
It simply happened, though, and it was genuinely lovely. Nothing was forced or rushed. The pair’s six months since Chris and JoJo first met have suggested they have planned their weddings. JoJo, an American star, has revealed her intentions for the aisle.
A wedding is a two-person event, she once told The Sun. So we would have to choose how it would appear. However, I am aware that I need to assist Chris in creating the playlist and that I want it to have a baby-blue scheme.
