Justice John Tsoho, the chief justice of the Federal High Court, has mandated that five judges be immediately moved across the court’s various judicial divisions.
The Director of Information at the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Catherine Christopher, formally outlined this in a statement.
The affected judges’ new postings and their new positions are described in the statement: Justice Tijjani Ringim from the Gombe Division to the Yola Division, and Justice M. Umar from the Enugu Judicial Division to Abuja.
Justices M. Segun-Bello, Justice Bala Usman, Justice Amina Mohammed, Justice Amina Mohammed, Justice Amina Mohammed, Justice Awka, and Justice Amina Mohammed, both from the Awka Division to the Gombe Division, have also been redeployed.

The redeployments are scheduled to take effect right away, according to the statement. The affected judges have been given the task of making every effort to deliver all pending judgments to their current stations as quickly as possible.
Judges who currently reside in the Abakaliki and Katsina Judicial Divisions will remain in charge of all matters pending and pending within their respective jurisdictions until further notice.
In a related development, the statement stated that the general public was informed that all cases had been assigned to Court No. The judge will now be tasked with moving the judge from Abuja Judicial Division to that location.
