Six years after losing her right leg, Ruth Codd revealed that her left leg had been amputated, and that her foot had appeared like “a little hamburger.”

Irish actress Ruth Codd had some news for fans earlier this week as she returned to TikTok. She revealed she has had her second leg amputation – but delivered the news in her usual charming manner.
On her left leg, she had the same procedure as she had on her right. Ruth broke the news to her fans, and she was unable to go upstairs. My second below-knee amputation has just occurred. So, regrettably, I can’t use those amenities,” she said.
At the age of 23, she had her first amputation. When she was 23 years old, her right leg was amputated below the knee because a football accident that occurred when she was 15 failed to heal properly. Years of chronic pain and numerous surgeries were the result of the problem.
She explained that having her leg removed below the knee was necessary for a second amputation in a similar manner. She explained in her TikTok that she had already had all of her toes removed, so she made the decision to have her other leg amputated.
She claimed in an interview that her foot resembled a “little hamburger” and that she had no toes.
Ruth acknowledged that the operation was necessary to improve her quality of life. She received the news after doctors told her that she had made walking more challenging and that her foot was unlikely to ever improve.
