Could the never-ending love story of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck be getting a part three?
The Hollywood power couple surprised the world when they announced they were marrying almost twenty years after first falling in love. A story fit for a movie script, it wasn’t to be, and their divorce was finalised in January after just two and a half years of marriage.
But on Monday night in New York they proved the friendliest of exes, making a joint appearance at the film premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman in New York City.
Jennifer, 53, plays the lead role and 53-year-old Ben’s production company Artists Equity made it. Embracing like old friends and gushing over each other just nine months after their shock divorce, the cosy display has got people asking – could there be a chance of a threequel?

Bennifer 3.0 would be quite the tale – giving the on-off love story of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton a run for its money.
Good Will Hunting star Ben met singer Jen in 2002 on the set of their movie, Gigli. J-Lo was married to second husband Cris Judd at the time but said she felt sparks immediately with Ben. “I really felt when I met Ben, ‘OK, this is it’,” she told at the time.
The ultimate showbiz pair, they were inseparable. Ben even featured in J-Lo’s video for Jenny From The Block in that infamous yacht scene. They soon got engaged but postponed their wedding in 2003 and split the following year.
Both moved on, with Ben marrying another Jen, 13 Going On 30 actress Jennifer Garner. They have children Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Sam, 13. His long-standing alcohol addiction put their relationship under huge strain and the couple went their separate ways in 2015 after he was accused of an affair with a nanny, which he denied.
In the meantime, J-Lo walked down the aisle with singer Marc Anthony. They had twins Max and Emma, now 17. They divorced in 2014, three years after separating.
Showbiz fans rejoiced when Bennifer reunited in 2021 in the ultimate Hollywood love story. “It was so painful after we broke up (the first time),” said J-Lo at the time.
“Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life. I honestly felt like I was going to die. It sent me on a spiral for the next 18 years where I just couldn’t get it right. But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending. It’s the most would-never-happen-in-Hollywood ending.”
The couple married at a Las Vegas chapel in July 2022, followed by a second ceremony in Georgia the following month. But it wasn’t all happy in paradise and tensions between the couple were apparent in J-Lo’s Amazon Prime documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told.
In it, she spoke candidly about her love life, whilst Ben looked on awkwardly, calling their private life “sacred”. The two looked like they were on completely different pages.
Cracks were also apparent during the 2023 Grammys, where J-Lo was pictured berating her husband whilst he looked bored. It all got too much for the pair, with J-Lo filing for divorce on their second wedding anniversary.
The pair hadn’t been seen for months together before the announcement, with Ben was missing from singer Jen’s Bridgerton-inspired 55th birthday party. His purchase of a £16million Los Angeles bachelor pad that same day was said to be a “stab in the heart” for his wife.
Their marriage was unravelling as the pair worked on a musical remake of the 1976 novel Kiss of the Spider Woman together. Despite the turmoil, Jen looked back on the time with a positive outlook.
“Every moment on set, and every moment I was doing this role, I was so happy,” she explained. “And then back home, it was not great. “But you get through it. Honestly, I have to say, it was the best thing that ever happened to me, because it… helped me grow in a way that I needed to grow, become more self-aware.”
Ben insisted their was “no scandal” behind their divorce. “I have nothing but respect,” he said about his former wife to GQ. “Yeah, there’s no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue.”
Since going their separate ways, their families have remained close. Sources close to the former couple say they have fought hard to keep things civil for the sake of their kids.
At Monday’s premiere, the pair spoke of their admiration for each other. “She’s amazing in the movie,” said Ben. Jen said: “If it wasn’t for Ben, the movie wouldn’t have gotten made. And I will always give him that credit.”

Molly Mae Hague’s latest trailer for Molly Mae: Behind It All series 2 has dropped and the mum of one confirms her relationship status with boxer Tommy Fury before issuing a cryptic statement.
“We’re back. Feels good,” the trailer starts with. “The balance at the minute of work and bambi is just a lot,” before Molly goes on to talk about her exhaustion.
The Maebe founder and Tommy shocked the world when they announced their unexpected split last August. However, the pair found their way back together and have since enjoyed several family holidays with Bambi in destinations including Dubai, Budapest, and Turkey. They now appear to be happier than ever after working through their struggles, including Tommy’s alcohol troubles.

Later on in the extended trailer on YouTube, Molly and Tommy are seeing smiling coyly before Molly says “Tommy and I are back together, yes. But I never know what tomorrow is going to bring,” referring to Tommy’s past woes.
This comes after it was revealed that Molly reportedly bans ‘any mention’ of her fiancé Tommy Fury at her events. Staff working at her events and others are understood to be warned not to asked the Love Island star, who recently reunited with boxer Tommy after a brief split last year, about him.
It has been reported that staff members at her recent L’Oreal pop-up event in central London were repeatedly told not to mention Tommy if they crossed paths with the star during the event.
Molly is now opening up in the next instalment of her fly on the wall series. Similar to the first instalment, which premiered back in January, viewers can expect to follow Molly-Mae as she tackles everything from her public relationship with Tommy to mothering their daughter Bambi.
The official synopsis teases: “With exclusive access, Molly embarks on an exciting new chapter as she takes her business empire to the next level while navigating the challenges of motherhood under the scrutiny of millions.” It continues: “Raw, relatable, and inspiring, this series reveals the insecurities and hopes of a young mum balancing fame and family.”
Series one focused a lot on their split after he admitted to issues with drinking, but the series ended with them having enjoyed a holiday together and trying to make the best of a fresh start.
Speaking at the end of series one, Molly said: “Things are looking so much better for us. I’m gonna start spending more time at Tommy’s house, keeping things slow and not rushing anything. But as always, I always say I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t think it’s gonna be a plain sailing future. I don’t. That’s just me being honest. I think we’re still gonna have bumps.
“The dream is still the same that, you know, we’ll get to a place one day when we will all be happy in that house together and have more children, hopefully, and just have a really nice, happy life together. That’s all I’ve ever wanted for us. I don’t want to get too excited, but I’m getting glimmers of what I always wanted, which is my family. I know we have got something completely worth saving.” As the credits rolled she added: “But you never know what’s around the corner!”
The first three episodes of the six-episode series will drop on October 18th, with the rest of the season set to release in early 2026. This won’t come as a surprise to fans who tuned into the first instalment, which was also released in two parts in January and May.
Behind It All season one was huge success and became the most-watched series on Prime Video by young women in the UK, aged between 18 and 34. It went on to win the National Television Award for Authored Documentary in September.
Molly-Mae reigned victorious over the likes of Flintoff, which tells the story of sporting legend Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff; and Strictly Amy: Cancer and Me, which dives into pro dancer Amy Dowden’s health battle.
* Molly-Mae: Behind It All Series 2 (Episodes 1–3) launches exclusively on Prime Video on 18th October. Episodes 4-6 episodes will follow in early 2026.

Conor McGregor has accepted an 18-month ban for violating the UFC’s anti-doping policy, the organisation says.
According to Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD), Irish fighter McGregor, 37, missed three attempted biological sample collections within a 12-month period in 2024.
UFC policy dictates that athletes must provide accurate whereabouts information at all times, so they can be contacted and submit to biological sample collections without warning.
McGregor, who has not competed professionally since suffering a broken leg in his last fight against Dustin Poirier in July 2021, missed tests last year on 13 June, 19 September and 20 September.
CSAD said it reduced McGregor’s ban from 24 months to 18 months in acknowledgment of his cooperation with their investigation and injury circumstances.
A statement on the UFC website said McGregor “accepted responsibility, and provided detailed information that CSAD determined contributed to the missed tests”.
His ban began on 20 September 2024 – the date of his third whereabouts failure – and will conclude on 20 March 2026, four months before he turns 39.
McGregor recently claimed that he has signed to fight on the UFC White House card on 14 June 2026 – the 80th birthday of US president Donald Trump.
On Saturday, UFC president Dana White denied those claims, saying: “I made it clear that Conor wants to fight on that card, and you can clearly see Conor is very fired-up to fight on that card, but nothing is done yet. No fights are being negotiated with the White House.”
On Monday, McGregor told his social media followers he is talking a break from the platforms.
In November 2024, McGregor was ordered to pay £206,000 in damages plus costs to Nikita Hand, who accused him of raping her in a hotel in Dublin in 2018.
Ms Hand announced in August her intention to sue McGregor and two other people for damages, alleging they engaged in malicious abuse of court processes.

Zoe Ball has opened up about the “really nasty” symptoms she’s endured while navigating the menopause. The 54-year-old discussed the topic alongside her co-presenter, Jo Whiley, as they responded to listeners experiencing similar struggles.
While sharing what has helped her through this challenging period, Zoe also provided a personal health update to fans on her Dig It podcast.
Reflecting on a particularly difficult phase when she was the host of the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, the mum-of-two admitted she relied on anti-depressants to help with her anxiety.
“I was getting some really nasty random big bleeds,” the former Strictly Come Dancing star revealed. “And when I was doing the Breakfast Show, I had horrific anxiety.
“That was my worst sort of symptom and that involved panic attacks, not being able to breathe, a lot of tears, quite a low mood and it was quite frightening at times.
“Once I sussed out that was a major cause… because I did go on anti-depressants for a while for my anxiety, but I’m off those now and I’m really glad to be off those, but they did help for a little period of time.”
Zoe continued by explaining how “difficult” it can be to identify what certain symptoms might indicate, especially when someone has other concerns simultaneously.
After understanding which issues were linked to the menopause, she credited using Bioidentical gel and progesterone as good way of easing her hormones.
“So the gel has worked for me,” she revealed. “I’ve got lots of friends on the spray, so it’s brilliant because it dries immediately.
“I found anything less than four [pumps of the spray], I can still be wobbly.”
Furthermore, Zoe mentioned she has her hormone levels and blood tests monitored by her GP approximately every three to four months to make sure she remains on the right path.
Providing an update, she continued: “Now, I’ve got a really steady mood which is great. I don’t sort of go whee!, [though] I do sometimes get sad, but you know that’s just life. But hormone wise, I feel so level.”
As Zoe highlighted during their candid conversation, what proves effective for her might not suit other women experiencing similar struggles.
She emphasised: “We have to remember that this is just me individually. Don’t follow what I do people, you’ve got to check your own hormone levels.”
The NHS states that perimenopause and menopause symptoms can differ from person to person. The initial indication of perimenopause is typically, though not invariably, an alteration in your usual menstrual cycle.
Frequent mental health effects of menopause and perimenopause may include; mood changes including anxiety, diminished self-confidence and brain fog.
Physical indicators might also feature; hot flushes, muscular discomfort and joint pain, alongside sleep difficulties.
These symptoms may persist for months or years, and can evolve over time.

The image of Heather Knight standing in the Canberra rain as the Ashes slipped from England’s grasp is one that is hard to forget.
With her bat dropped to the floor and a slump of the shoulders, England’s long-serving captain looked like she had been defeated.
But seven months and a hamstring injury on from that 16-0 defeat – one that led to her sacking as captain after more than eight years – Knight produced a World Cup innings of grit and determination to prove to her opponents, the media and maybe even herself, that it’ll take a lot more than that to keep her down for long.
England somehow found themselves 78-5 in pursuit of 179 to beat Bangladesh, ranked seventh in the world, and Knight was in familiar territory despite playing her first one-day international since January.
“They cannot do it under pressure” is the narrative that has been following England since the dismal T20 World Cup group-stage defeat by West Indies this time last year.
Knight had 15 from her first 50 balls, then made 64 from her next 61.
Released from the shackles of captaincy, a weight lifted from those once-slumped shoulders. Completely calm among the chaos, Knight showed why England need her more than ever.
There was luck and controversy, no doubt. On nought, Knight was given out caught behind on the field but the third umpire overturned it, saying there “inconclusive” evidence there was no bat.
She then successfully reviewed an lbw, but on 13 the turning point came as the third umpire intervened once more to rule that Shorna Akter had grounded the ball while taking a catch at extra cover. Again the third umpire said there was “inconclusive” evidence the “catch had been taken fairly”.
“The catch, I thought it was out on first look,” Knight, who walked towards the boundary rope, told BBC Sport.
“But I probably felt like I deserved a little bit of luck after this year.
Make no mistake, however, England got away with one.
Their spinners were superb again – claiming 9-116 in 37.4 overs – but familiar frailties emerged with the bat and the sight of coach Charlotte Edwards laughing and celebrating Knight’s third reprieve with a double fist pump in the changing room was a curious one.
Had England lost, it is likely we would have seen quite a few more replays of it, particularly considering the gulf between these two teams and the sticky situation that her side were in.
England’s batting weakness against spin has been well documented, but in ODIs they had started to make promising progress since the Alana King-dominated Ashes.
They are averaging a fraction under 35 per wicket against spin in the format this year, an improvement from 31.19 in 2024 and 25.59 the year before.
Other important factors include that this particular game saw the most deliveries of spin bowled in a Women’s World Cup match, and the pitch offered the most turn of any game in the tournament so far. Batting was difficult, but it is a 50-over World Cup in India – it was always going to be tough, and England will need to adapt quickly.
Amy Jones and Tammy Beaumont were exposed by Marufa’s swing, both trapped lbw playing across the line. Nat Sciver-Brunt miscued a full toss, Sophia Dunkley got a marginal lbw decision but was trapped on the crease and Emma Lamb – batting outside of the top three for the first time in her professional 50-over career – chipped to mid-on.
But again Knight led the way, putting her favoured sweeps away as she scratched around to begin with, but with confidence came a little more flair, a use of the feet and the ball started to find the middle of the bat.
“We’ll learn a lot from the experience. It was really tough conditions out there and they bowled brilliantly,” Knight said.
“I haven’t had a huge amount of time in the middle with the injury, so I am just finding my feet.
“But I know playing spin is a real strength of mine, I know I’ve got different options based on the conditions, and for me it was about being really precise on what ball I was going to attack and which I would defend.
“When I did get into that rhythm, I was just really precise with my footwork and had a really clear gameplan, trying to sweep on line and use my feet to different bowlers to hit hard down the ground.”
This time, England did overcome the pressure, with Knight’s luck and heroics to thank.
