Meghan Markle warned she risks ‘damaging’ brand if major problem persists

Despite Meghan Markle seeing her products quickly sell out, a PR expert has revealed the single biggest cause of her lifestyle brand, As Ever, from which she is a victim.

Meghan Markle ’s lifestyle brand As Ever could be at risk of collapsing if she keeps doing one big thing, according to a PR expert. Meghan released a series of new products just weeks ago, with the items selling out in a mere few hours. Whether Meghan is selling her famous jams, baking packs or her brand new rosé wine, her products are almost guaranteed to sell out within hours of going on sale.

While many people would assume this to be a sign of great success, Go Up CEO and PR expert Edward Coram-James fears that if it continues, customers could end up feeling “frustrated and let down.”

Mr Coram-James told Express : “The jam selling out does show there’s genuine enthusiasm for Meghan’s products. When handled well, limited stock can create buzz for future releases. But for that to work, the messaging needs to be crystal clear from the start.

Customers are required to be aware that this is a limited-edition item made in small batches. Otherwise, they’ll be let down and frustrated. Recurrent supply issues are a possibility for the brand’s reputation to become damaged over time.

Meghan’s most recent release, her Napa Valley rosé wine, was released last week and retailed for £22. Three, six, and twelve wine orders were required.

Meghan took to Instagram to share her delight in the fact that the wine sold out, writing: “Still soaking it in- feeling endlessly grateful. Cheers to what’s ahead!”

Meanwhile, after her last restock sold out in record time, Meghan was forced to give away some of her famous jams for free to loyal customers who thought they secured the items in an online order.

It emerged that some customers who thought they had secured the £7 apricot spread have now been sent emails telling them that they would not be receiving the products, due to high demand. And to rectify the situation, not only would they be receiving a full refund but also be sent a jar of the spread for free when it is back in stock.

Due to high demand, we are unable to fulfill your order of the apricot spread at this time, according to the email sent to customers. By the end of this week, we will have received a refund for this purchase.

You will be the first to receive the apricot spread when it returns in stock, free of charge, according to the company.

FG Running Nigeria’s Airports At A Loss Without Private Investors — Keyamo

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has revealed that Nigerian airports are operated at a financial loss without private sector involvement, stressing that the Federal Government could no longer sustain them profitably.

Keyamo, who spoke at the launch of Enugu State’s indigenous airline, Enugu Air, on Monday, said, “There is no government that can run airports again in Nigeria for profit.

“We are running the airports at a loss because we don’t have the drive of the private sector. I’m saying it openly, and I have no apologies.”

The minister addressed public concerns over the fate of the Enugu airport, clarifying that the facility was not being sold but concessioned to private investors.

“I have seen some comments saying, ‘No, we are selling Enugu airport out.’ We are concessioning it. The process is supported by Mr. President, by FAAN, by the Ministry of Aviation, and by the National Assembly committees.

“We are just in the process of handing Enugu airport to private investors who will come and make this place open, including the cargo terminal,” he said.

According to Keyamo, the cargo terminal will significantly boost economic activities in the region.

“You can now process exports directly from Enugu here—the cargo terminal—for the good and employment of Enugu people. I thought it was necessary to mention it here today.”

He praised Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State for his proactive efforts in attracting private investments to the airport, noting that the governor refused to wait on bureaucracy to drive progress.

“The governor came to me and said, ‘I want to attract private sector investments into Enugu airport. I will not wait for bureaucracy to run this airport for me; the pace of development is too slow.’ I said, ‘Wait, finish the airline.’

“He said, ‘No, I’m not finishing it. I want the private sector to take over this airport and run it for the good people of Enugu State,’” the minister stated.

Keyamo said that shortly after, several top-tier private firms, with expertise in airport management, made proposals.

“Before we said Jack, private individuals—very big companies, some of the best in terms of airport management—came together. And as I speak to you, in the next few months and few years, Enugu airport will not be what you see here today. The private sector is coming into Enugu airport, driven by the governor.”

On the airline launch, the minister further revealed that Governor Mbah was equally determined to bring Enugu Air to life.

At his first press conference since becoming Milan manager, Allegri stated, “He’ll arrive in August.”

It would be useless to discuss him more because he is an extraordinary and significant player.

Allegri returned to Milan after leading them to the Serie A title in 2011 during his first two years in charge, 2010-2014.

On August 17, they play their first game of the new year in the Italian Cup.

Children’s Camp Confirms 27 Dead, With Texas Flood Toll Over 80

More than 80 people were killed by flash floods in the state of Texas on Monday, including 27 girls and counselors at a summer camp, according to rescuers in the state.

Over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, the nation was shocked by the disaster, and forecasters warned of additional flooding from thunderstorms over saturated ground.

Following the devastating flooding, Camp Mystic said in a statement that it was grieving the loss of 27 campers and counselors.

Our families are enduring this unfathomable tragedy, and we are also in our hearts.

Donald Trump, the president of the US, hinted that he might travel to Texas later this week, but he dodged concerns that his reductions in weather forecasting and related federal agencies had weakened warning systems.

Instead, he characterized the floods as a “100-year catastrophe” that “nobody anticipated.”

Sheriff Larry Leitha reported on Sunday that at least 40 adults and 28 children had died in Kerr County, central Texas, while at least 13 more had been killed by flooding in nearby towns. The death toll is anticipated to rise.

Grim Search

Trump signed a significant disaster declaration, releasing additional funds, and allowing more resources than previously believed that state-level disaster relief should be handled.

In a region known for its campfires, which also housed a number of summer camps for children, about 20 helicopters were reportedly searching for missing people.

When the floodwaters started pouring, Camp Mystic, one of the worst-hit, contained 750 female campmates staying.

As camp girls slept, the rain-swollen Guadalupe River reached treetops and the roofs of cabins in a terrifying display of nature’s power.

Mud was encrusted onto blankets, Teddy bears, and other items. The cabin windows were reportedly shattered by the force of the water.

As a result of officials’ advice to people not to cross still-robbing rivers, Texas Governor Greg Abbott warned that more heavy rain could cause further flooding in Kerrville and the surrounding areas.

On Thursday night into Friday, rain fell in a matter of hours, and it has continued indefinitely.

In 45 minutes, the Guadalupe soared to 26 feet (28 meters), more than a two-story structure.

This area of south and central Texas, known as “Flash Flood Alley,” is not unusual for flash floods, which occur when the ground is unable to absorb torrential rain.

In recent years, extreme weather events like floods, droughts, and heat waves have become more frequent and intense due to human-driven climate change.

According to Abbott, “there is debris everywhere that makes reconstruction projects impossible and roads impassable.”

Kerr County’s residents gathered from other parts of the state to assist in the search for the missing.

Some residents used personal drones to look, but officials urged them to stop because there was a risk in the rescue plane.
