The most significant performance he ever had was in Aston, despite having played thousands of shows for more than five decades. He was determined that his final concert had to be held right where it was despite later health issues. At the beginning of his career, he was a proud Brummy, and at the end, he was.

Thank you for this wonderful lifetime achievement award, my dad and my family, once more. He seems to be smiling proudly at us tonight.

She feels the love, I am aware. With that outpouring of love, none of us anticipated it. Every child sat there and sort of contemplated what it would be like if their parents didn’t go there one day. It’s just a characteristic of being human. Simply put, we didn’t consider it. You’re aware that it had a different weight than it did.

After missing two kicks against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Jude McAtamney was released by the New York Giants.

After sustaining a broken leg with Graham Gano, the 25-year-old former Derry Under-20 gaelic football player, the Giants lost four NFL games.

McAtamney made a stellar kicking debut as the Giants defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 21-18 at MetLife Stadium following his promotion from the practice squad.

In order to face the Philadelphia Eagles, the defending Super Bowl champion, on October 10, he was forced to be signed to the full 53-man roster because he was unable to be elevated from the practice squad for a third time.

McAtamney scored four kicks on five attempts as the Giants defeated the Eagles 34-17 to extend that call-up.

However, he missed two points as the Giants, who had given up 33 points in the fourth quarter against the Broncos, lost by one point on Sunday.

Although he is a member of the NFL’s international player pathway program, his future has not been confirmed, but he is still eligible to play on the Giants’ practice roster without being on the roster.

Before moving to the US to play for Rutgers University, McAtamney helped Derry win an Ulster title in 2020.

BBC Breakfast staff ‘slam’ bosses for ‘double standards’ amid Kaye Adams job suspension

The “double standards” of suspending Kaye Adams from Radio Scotland while keeping their own presenters in their current roles while they are under review are being rumored to be raging amongBBC Breakfast staff.

The staff of BBC Breakfast are reportedly furious at the network bosses’ “double standards” after Kaye Adams was suspended from Radio Scotland following bullying allegations, while their own presenters, Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt remain in their roles, despite a review underway for similar claims.

Adams was pulled from her BBC radio show after allegations arose about her ‘bullying’ her colleagues. But, BBC Breakfast hosts Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt are under review for the same complaint, it has been alleged, and have not been suspended from their show.

Despite having already taken action against Adams, they have not taken action against Munchetty and Stayt, according to BBC bosses who are said to be taking a number of allegations against the duo into account.

According to a source, Adams’ suspension “put a cat among the pigeons” behind the scenes at the BBC: “The review on Naga and Charlie is rumbling on because new complaints keep coming up, which raise new questions, so they have to continue interviewing other people.

The cat in the flock is Kaye Adams because she has been accused of bullying Naga and Charlie, the same thing as her.

“People are saying it’s two standards and that the BBC is pandering to Naga in particular because she has Breakfast and her 5 Live show,” according to some. They should respond to all complaints the same way because they are the broadcaster of the country.

While bosses conduct an investigation, Adams was fired from her BBC Radio Scotland hosting position. According to some, the 62-year-old’s complaints were brought up as part of the BBC’s “Call It Out” campaign.

The initiative was set up after a review into the conduct of former MasterChef presenters Gregg Wallace upheld several allegations of inappropriate language and the misuse of power. The report also upheld an allegation that John Torode used inappropriate language. After allegations were brought against Wallace, a review into the working environment on MasterChef was conducted.

Following the review, both Wallace and Torode were told they would no longer be MasterChef’s presenters, though they did appear in the latest series as that had already been filmed. They will be replaced with Grace Dent and Anna Haugh for the next series.

The complaints on BBC Breakfast were the same as the Call It Out initiative that originated from this circumstance and spawned complaints from BBC Radio Scotland staff.

Edo To Regulate Scavengers, Scrap Dealers To Curb Vandalism

Monday Okpebholo, the governor of Edo State, has proposed to regulate scavengers and scrap dealers’ activities.

According to Okpebholo, the move is intended to stop more theft and vandalism related to their state-wide operations.

The governor disclosed the information on Tuesday during Akintayo Ayinla, the new NSCDC Commandant’s courtesy visit.

The governor reiterated his commitment to public safety at the Government House in Benin City during the event.

He expressed concern about the growing threat of scavengers, who allegedly rob, pillage, and destroy both public and private property.

According to Okpebholo, “the way they approach stealing irons and destroying people’s property is unacceptable at all.”

He assured the NSCDC that the state government would support all efforts to restore order and prevent vandalism.

He declared, “We are going to propose to the House of Assembly a regulatory document in the form of a bill.”

“A person should know his boundaries when he is operating.” They are fighting the government if they go beyond that, he continued.

The governor noted that the proposed legislation would keep scavengers and scrap dealers statewide safe.

Ayinla praised Okpebholo for continuing to support state security agencies.

According to Ayinla, the industry contributes to the economy by reducing waste and scavenging and preventing vandalism.

He disclosed that the command had begun a control measures survey of Edo’s scrap markets and scavenging locations.

Ayinla urged the government to regulate operators’ registration and licensure and designate specific areas for scrap activities.

He warned that without proper regulation, these activities could turn into public infrastructure destruction and vehicle theft.
