A harrowing account of an Israeli raid on the Nuseirat refugee camp to free four captives that killed 274 Palestinians.
A daring Israeli raid on a refugee camp in central Gaza left a terrible trail of death and destruction. On June 8, 2024, Israeli special forces disguised as Palestinians carried out a covert operation in the Nuseirat refugee camp, aimed at rescuing four captives held by Hamas. At the same time, the Israeli military launched heavy air raids, and the two-pronged attack targeted private homes, public markets and alleyways full of civilians.

Sean Bean has made a very rare appearance with his fifth wife Ashley Moore as she joined him for the premiere of his new TV series, Robin Hood, about the famous Nottingham outlaw who stole from the rich to give to the poor.
The 66-year-old, who is best known for his roles in Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, will star as the Sheriff of Nottingham in the upcoming series, which will be released on November 2 on MGM+. UK audiences can watch through an add-on Amazon Prime subscription.
Veteran Sheffield-born actor Sean looked dapper in a camel-colored suit while posing for photos at the Hollywood event’s Culver Theater in Los Angeles. He teamed up with burgundy brogues and a matching tie for the occasion. While Ashley, 40, wore a Chanel necklace and a black trouser suit.
And the pair, who wed in a romantic ceremony in Dorset in June 2017, looked as enthralled as ever as they mingled with Sean’s co-stars, including Lauren McQueen, who plays Robin’s lead role, and Jack Patten, who plays the lead role.

The actor’s longest marriage to date and his fifth appearance in public. He met former actress Ashley at random in a London pub for eight years before settling down. He had three children and had previously been divorced four times before he decided never to get married again.
He previously told the Daily Mail: “I wasn’t planning on getting married again, but then I wasn’t planning on meeting someone as amazing as Ashley. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”
Revealing how they met, he said in an interview with The Times: “We met in a pub, this old pub I used to go in, in town, called the Cobden Arms [in London’s Camden]. She was in there with friends and I came in with my friend and it was just a chance meeting. I used to go in there now and again, but it was the first time she’d ever been in. We kind of hit it off.”
Self-proclaimed romantic Sean had a chance meeting that made him want to propose once more in 2014, with his fifth and, he hopes, final, wedding taking place three years later. He gushed about his wife, who “changed his life,” saying, “She’s full of life.” Exuberant . a lot of positive energy.
The star has been referred to as being “super happy,” according to friends, with one commenting, “I’ve never seen him so in love and committed and happy with Ashley.” They go together very well.
Sean says it helped that former actress Ashley, who reportedly trained as a singer and ballet dancer before going on to star in teen drama Grange Hill and been an assistant to Helena Bonham Carter and her then husband, Tim Burton has “been around the acting game”.
Though most of Sean’s previous wives have also been in the acting world. That is aside from his first wife – hairdresser Debra James – who he met at school and later married in 1981 when he was just 21. Their marriage lasted seven years before he moved to London after landing a scholarship with top acting school RADA.
This was where he met second wife Melanie Hill, who famously starred in sitcoms Bread and Auf Wiedersehen, Pet before scoring TV roles in the likes of Playing the Field, Waterloo Road and more recently, as Cathy in Coronation Street and Siobhan in Casualty. The couple tied the knot in 1990 and are parents to daughters Lorna, 38, and 34-year-old Molly. But the marriage would again last seven years.
Sean met third wife Abigail Cruttenden when they both starred in ITV period drama Sharpe, where she played his character’s wife. This translated into reality when they struck up a relationship shortly after his split from Melanie. They walked down the aisle in 1997 and their daughter Evie – now 26 – was born a year later. But they split when Evie was just a few months old and officially divorced in 2000.

His fourth wife was actress Georgina Sutcliffe, who he met while he was starring in a West End production of Macbeth. At the time she reportedly managed the bar at the venue, but is also an actress and producer. Like many a celeb before them – Paul McCartney, Cilla Black, Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton and Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith – they tied the knot at Marylebone Town Hall in 2008. This was Sean’s shortest marriage as they had split two years later, reportedly citing citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.
Speaking to The Times after marrying fifth wife Ashley, Sean admitted: “I’ve obviously experienced more marriages than most people. I suppose there is that romantic in me, otherwise, I wouldn’t keep doing it. But I don’t regret anything. I’d live it all again. ” He added: “I suppose I could have seen how things developed, got to know them better before taking the plunge. But I didn’t because I felt strongly about all these women; otherwise, I wouldn’t have married them.”

Mark Selby claims that Jack Lisowski’s defeat in the second round of the Northern Ireland Open caused him to struggle to feel at his best as he dropped out of the tournament.
This year, the four-time world champion has advanced to the semi-finals of the Shanghai Masters, English Open, and British Open.
Selby has yet to surpass previous campaigns, which have resulted in his three Masters titles and 24 ranking victories.
The 42-year-old was unable to capitalize on several scoring opportunities in Wednesday’s defeat to Lisowski at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall, which hampered his chances of extending his winning streak to the English, Scottish, and Welsh Opens.
“I mean, I’m working hard on the practice table but just lacking a little confidence at the moment; I don’t feel great out there.”
Results-wise, it’s been good, but with the table I’ve been playing, I’ve not really felt at ease with what I’m doing. You just have to ride the waves and emerge from the other side of patches like that.
“You just keep going, hoping it will turn around.”
The Welsh Open victory in February saw the world number 10 triumph, joining Neil Robertson and Mark Allen, who have won three of the four Home Nations competitions since 2016’s start.
Selby, whose best performance in Belfast was a semi-final appearance in 2018, continued, “I love the venue.”

You must prioritize your health, according to the saying.
The Xi’an Grand Prix and the International Championship are scheduled as part of the Northern Ireland Open, which Selby believes should be avoided given that Selby believes this should be done.
He responded, “It’s really quite poor.” We visited China just before the deadline, so you only have one or two days before flying back to China.
Because it has a toll, you must put your health first. Traveling is exhausting.
“You want to go there fresh and give yourself the best chance when you enter tournaments.” Sometimes scheduling prevents you from doing that consistently.
In addition to the remarkable 13 maximum 147 breaks, including two for Ronnie O’Sullivan, Thailand’s Thepchaiya Un-Nooh, and Ireland’s Aaron Hill, the opening months of the 2025-26 season have produced various winners of each of the six ranking tournaments and a wide variety of different finalists.
The previous two seasons saw 13 breaks totaling 15 and not exceeding double digits, compared to the previous year’s record 15 maximum breaks.
Selby attributes the rise to the current level of talent on the professional scene.
He continued, “I just think the standard is so difficult today.” There are no longer any simple games.
The “standard is very, very tough” higher up the ladder, but I don’t believe it’s much better.
