Meghan Markle completely steals the show at Paris Fashion Week in jaw-dropping outfit

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, made an unexpected trip to Paris Fashion Week to show off her incredible style.

Meghan Markle turned heads in Paris as she made a surprise appearance at Fashion Week, marking her first-ever attendance at the prestigious event.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, supported long-time friend and designer Pierpaolo Piccioli, who recently took over as Balenciaga’s creative director, by traveling alone from her Montecito, California, home.

The Duchess of Sussex supported Pierpaolo Piccioli, who recently assumed the role of creative director for the house, at the Balenciaga show in Paris on Saturday night, according to a Meghan spokesperson. She hasn’t appeared on the shows in more than ten years.

The statement continued: “Over the years, the duchess has worn a number of designs by Pierpaolo. They have worked closely together, collaborating on key moments on the world stage.

She has long admired his craftsmanship and contemporary elegance, and tonight was no exception. She supports his new creative chapter at Balenciaga, reflecting the culmination of many years of artistry and friendship.

Meghan arrived at the show in an effortlessly chic white ensemble, pairing wide-leg trousers with a structured blazer from Balenciaga’s latest collection. The Duchess later shared glimpses of her Paris trip on Instagram, showcasing her stylish return to the fashion scene.

Meghan made her acting debut at Paris Fashion Week, but she had previously attended events like that in Toronto and New York.

She wore several of Pierpaolo Piccioli’s creations for famous engagements, and she is associated with him since his time at Valentino.

In April 2022, she opened the Invictus Games in a tailored white Valentino suit, complete with Aquazzura heels and a matching Valentino bag. She also turned heads in a bold red Valentino gown during her and Prince Harry’s royal tour of Morocco in 2019.

The Duchess’s extravagant outing comes as her distant family relationships with her family members are receiving renewed attention. Following a powerful 6.9-magnitude earthquake, Thomas Markle’s father, Thomas, was reportedly trapped in his 19th-floor apartment in the Philippines just days prior.

His daughter Samantha Markle claimed online that their father was “stuck” and unable to walk, which sparked widespread concern.

However, Thomas, 81, later reawakened the public and thanked them for their concern, saying, “Please don’t worry about me, everything is okay.

Since moving to Cebu, Philippines earlier this year with his son, Thomas Jr., earlier this year, Thomas has been living there.

According to reports, the pair have “settling in” a rented high-rise apartment close to the busy main thoroughfare of the city.

Vinicius Double Helps Real Madrid Beat Villarreal

In a 3-1 win over Villarreal on Saturday, Vitius Junior scored twice to take Real Madrid to the top of La Liga, and Kylian Mbappe also scored.

Los Blancos regained their form following last week’s derby drubbing when they moved two points clear of champions Barcelona when they travel to Sevilla on Sunday.

Madrid turned their attention back to domestic issues after a protracted midweek break in Kazakhstan, where they defeated Kairat 3-0.

Xabi Alonso’s side faced a strong Villarreal team, who are third, and were defeated 5-2 by city rivals Atletico Madrid last weekend.

Vinicius told Real Madrid TV, “I played very well, and I want to keep doing this, keeping this confidence, and doing even more.”

The winger has returned to form in recent starts, but he had a poor season.

We have good feelings, Vinicius said, “We have big games when we come back from the international break,” Vinicius continued.

In the absence of injured duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dani Carvajal, Alonso reinstated Fede Valverde to the team.

At the Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid’s slow-paced first half was better.

Franco Mastantuono, a teenager, might have led Los Blancos, but Villarreal defender Renato Veiga blocked his shot after Mbappe returned the ball to him.

Tani Oluwaseyi snuck in behind the center-backs but was unable to stop Madrid’s Belgian goalkeeper, which Thibaut Courtois superbly saved.

Before the break, Mastantuono, which was signed from River Plate in the summer, drilled a narrowly wide bore hole through the near post.

Vinicius, who had a chance to deflect off Santi Comesana and fly past the helpless Arnau Tenas, gave Los Blancos the lead early in the second half.

Jude Bellingham was benched for the final 25 minutes of the game after the Atletico scandal, and Xabi Alonso replaced him.

For upcoming World Cup qualifiers this week, Thomas Tuchel’s midfielder was attempting to prove a point by missing out on his England squad.

Tenas resistance

When Vinicius was knocked down in the area by Rafa Marin, Madrid doubled their lead, winning Tenas from the spot. The former Barcelona goalkeeper had the opportunity to stop the penalty, but it fell under his feet.

When Tenas appeared to bring Vinicius down in the box moments later, he was given another penalty, but his appeals were rejected.

Tenas denied him on both occasions, with the midfielder kicking a post out of frustration. Bellingham twice came close.

The goal was quickly restored by Villarreal after Georges Mikautadze scored lethally from the edge of the box.

Santiago Mourino, a defensive player for Yellow Submarine, was shown a second yellow card after pressing on Vinicius down the wing, and Mbappe soon added a third.

The Frenchman became the division’s top scorer when Brahim Diaz scored his ninth league goal of the campaign.

In the final stages, Mbappé was knocked off, leaving the only unfavorable result for a Madrid side that was good value for their three points.

Comesana of Villarreal criticized some of the refereeing decisions that were against his side.

Comesana told DAZN, “It’s unfortunate that the first goal hit me and then the penalty, which wasn’t enough (of a foul) to give it.”

If it’s already difficult to win at the Bernabeu, with these things it’s even harder to do so, you only need to look at how he threw himself down and how the red card (was soft).

Israel pounds Gaza, killing 70, despite Trump’s call for it to halt bombing

At least 70 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli bombings of the besieged Gaza Strip, according to medical sources, despite demands from US President Donald Trump for Israel to stop bombardment after Hamas claimed to have accepted some of Trump’s 20-point strategy to end Israel’s conflict.

The famine-stricken Gaza City, where the Israeli army has been conducting an offensive in recent weeks, forcing some one million residents to flee to the overcrowded south, was where at least 45 of the victims were killed in Saturday’s bombings and air strikes.

In an Israeli attack on a residential building in the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City, 18 people were killed, and several others were hurt, according to the medical personnel. Additionally, several nearby buildings were damaged by the attack.

Seven children between the ages of two months and eight years old were named as among those killed, according to a statement shared on Telegram by Gaza’s civil defense agency.

Two children were killed and eight others were injured when Israeli forces also attacked a displacement camp in southern Gaza in an apparent suicide attack.

The Israeli army has been directing Palestinian families to evacuate Al-Mawasi, a supposedly safe humanitarian zone. However, over the past few weeks and months, the area has been repeatedly targeted.

According to Al Jazeera’s reporter from az-Zawayda, there have also been air raids on other locations, including the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

In response to the handful of battered medical facilities that are still operational in the north amid a severe fuel shortage, she said, “hospitals are unable to treat all of these Palestinians.”

She claimed that “there is no such thing as a ceasefire” because of what is happening on the ground.

Trump demands action.

Trump urged Hamas to release captives as soon as possible, and to wrap up negotiations on his strategy to end the conflict on Saturday, “or else all bets will be off.”

“I will not tolerate any delay, which many people believe will occur, or any result where Gaza poses a threat once more,” I said. Let’s finish this quickly. Everyone will be treated fairly, promises the statement! Trump’s platform, Truth Social, contained some writing.

Trump claimed that Israel and Hamas shared an initial “withdrawal line” in a separate post later on Saturday.

He wrote that “we will create the conditions for the next phase of withdrawal” and that the Ceasefire will immediately begin when Hamas confirms.

Hamas had consented to a number of crucial points of Trump’s 20-point proposal, including the release of Israeli prisoners and captives from Gaza. However, the group has left some questions unanswered, such as whether or not it would disarm.

According to a White House official, Trump will travel to Egypt with his envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to finalize the technical details of the captive release and discuss a lasting peace agreement. Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement that Egypt will host delegations from Israel and Hamas on Monday to discuss further matters.

In exchange for nearly 2, 000 Palestinian prisoners, Trump’s proposal includes the return of all captives, both dead and alive.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that negotiators will be negotiating terms for the release of the remaining prisoners under Trump’s Gaza plan in Egypt while speaking to reporters from Jerusalem.

He also asserted that Hamas’ demilitarization is a part of the US’s plan.

Trump’s suggestion or Israeli military action will be used, he said, to accomplish that. While the Israeli military remained firmly rooted in Gaza, he added that he hoped to announce the release of the captives.

Hamas has also criticized Israel’s ongoing attacks on the enclave, calling them “Netanyahu’s lies” about ending its offensive there following Trump’s request.

Hamas said in a statement that the Zionist occupation army is still at work murdering and massacreing our Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The group demanded that “urgent action be taken to protect and provide relief to our people” from the international community, including Islamic and Arab states.

Hamas wants assurances that the rest of Trump’s 20-point plan will be carried out if it releases the Israeli prisoners, according to Adnan Hayajneh, a professor of international relations and US foreign policy at Qatar University. This provides a clear picture of how Gaza’s future will govern.

Hamas will participate in a lengthy negotiation, according to Hayajneh, according to Hayajneh.

Arab leaders also expressed some reservations about the plan to Trump, according to the professor, “but most of the reservations were not taken into account regarding the military forces, the future of arms,” according to the professor.

He continued, “The plan almost seems like a surrender to Hamas,” adding that. “I believe they are leaving the hostages for the last minute,” he said. “I think that’s very important.”

Ex-Portsmouth, Leicester and Sheffield Wednesday owner Mandaric dies

Getty Images

Milan Mandaric, the former Portsmouth, Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday owner, has died at the age of 87.

Mandaric’s family released a statement which said he passed away at a hospital in the Serbian capital of Belgrade on Saturday following a short illness.

The Serbian-American businessman, whose first involvement in English football was in 1999 when he bought Portsmouth, was most recently the vice-president of Serbian team Vojvodina who are based in the city of Novi Sad where he grew up.

“His love for football was only surpassed by that for his family. He will be sadly missed by his two daughters and three grandchildren”, said a family statement.

Football’s Mr Fixit

Mandaric took control of his father’s engineering business in the Serbian city of Novi Sad at the age of 21.

Five years later it was one of the largest firms in Yugoslavia and on a collision course with Marshal Tito, country’s communist dictator.

Tito denounced Mandaric as a “capitalist traitor” when the entrepreneur took his family to Switzerland.

Mandaric spent a year there, desperately trying to get his cash out of the Balkans, then moved to United States where he founded a computer-components firm and an electronics business.

He acquired US citizenship and signed George Best to play for the first professional sports team in Silicon Valley, the San Jose Earthquakes.

Frustrated by the slow progress of the game in the US, Mandaric bought Belgian club Charleroi and then moved on to Nice.

Portsmouth were on the brink of bankruptcy when he bought them in 1999 before being revived under his stewardship in a pattern which would earn him a reputation as football’s ‘ Mr Fixit’.

There would be the wobbly start as owner and club got acquainted, a few spins of the managerial merry-go-round, investment in the squad, improvement, promotion, consolidation, sale.

With Harry Redknapp appointed as manager, Mandaric’s Portsmouth won the Championship in 2003 before he sold the club to French-Israeli businessman Alexandre Gaydamak for £32m in 2006.

Mandaric bought Leicester City for £6m in 2007. The Foxes were relegated to League One in 2007-08 but returned as champions in 08-09 and lost in the Championship play-off semi-finals in 09-10.

He sold Leicester to Thailand’s Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha for £40m later that year and bought a heavily indebted Sheffield Wednesday for £1.

Before Mandaric sold them to another Thai, Dejphon Chansiri, for $ 37.50 million, the Owls moved from League One in 2012.

Manadaric and Redknapp were also eminently involved in a corruption case that began with a BBC Panorama investigation in 2006 and ended with their convictions for tax evasion in 2012.

Mandaric looked into buying back Wednesday earlier this year to prevent the current club from being “destroyed” by Chansiri.

‘Gutted’ Jamie Borthwick seen for first time since EastEnders axe on chaotic night out

Jamie Borthwick, who was sacked from the BBC One soap, has been seen for the first time since because his car collided with Georgina Shave’s girlfriend in London on a night out.

Former EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick has been spotted for the first time since his departure from the BBC soap but his night out took a turn for the worse when his Mercedes broke down.

Before his car broke down and had to be towed away, the 31-year-old, who played Jay Brown for nearly 20 years, was seen dining with Georgina Shave’s girlfriend in Mayfair, London.

Despite the mishap, Georgina, who has stood by him through recent controversies, lifted his spirits with a kiss on the street. A witness told The Sun: “Jamie was gutted. Georgina cheered him up with a smooch.”

The actor appeared to catch a ride home in the tow truck while Georgina was left to take the bus after leaving a handwritten note apologizing to parking wardens on his windscreen.

It marks Borthwick’s first public appearance since being dropped from EastEnders, ending his 19-year run as Jay Brown – a household character who was first introduced as a troubled teen.

Jay’s involvement in some of the show’s most heartfelt plotlines, including Lola Pearce’s passing, was at the center of some of the show’s most moving moments.

His exit from the series was quietly confirmed last month. The Mirror revealed that Borthwick had been axed from the soap after being suspended in June for using an offensive term to describe Blackpool residents while filming Strictly Come Dancing in the seaside town.

The actor’s language was “entirely unacceptable and in no way reflects the values or standards we hold and expect,” according to the BBC at the time.

Borthwick later apologized informally for any offence or upset caused by his actions. There is no justification for my ignorance of the offensive term I used and its definition.

That completely irritates me. I am now aware that I directed the phrase in the manner that I did, and that I am deeply embarrassed to have used it. It was incorrect.

After the suspension, he was reportedly scheduled to return to film, but producers ultimately decided to cut the beloved character from the BBC One soap after almost twenty years.

A BBC Studios spokesperson said: “We can confirm that Jamie Borthwick will not be returning to EastEnders. We do not comment on individual matters.”

Fans only learned of his departure in an ironic incident in a September episode, when Lauren Branning told Peter Beale, “Hi Jay, his grandad’s got sick, so he’s had to go see him.”
