Sam Kerr, a midfielder for Bayern Munich, was recalled from the Scotland squad for the Women’s Nations League matches against Austria and the Netherlands, with Kirsty Smith and Mia McAulay drafted in.
Smith, who has been released by West Ham United, was originally called into the squad by new national head coach Melissa Andreatta, but the 31-year-old will now have a chance to add to her 62 caps.
McAulay scored the opening goal at Hampden Park on Sunday, coming off a starring role in Rangers’ 3-0 victory over Glasgow City in the Scottish Cup final.

The Donkey Sanctuary, a free clinic run by a British charity, is essential in Addis Ababa because it is the backbone of the country’s economy. It cares for animals that are frequently essential to their owners’ livelihoods, and is located close to Merkato, the city’s sprawling open-air market.
At the clinic, there are several dozen donkeys squatting in cages, some irately kick their legs, and others snuck their food into their cages. Moving from one animal to another, caregivers and veterinarians deal with a wide range of ailments, including colic, eye conditions, and injuries.
Guluma Bayi, 38, was one of them as they led his two donkeys to the clinic after walking for more than an hour and a half.
“My donkeys have been ill for three weeks,” Guluma said. One person has a leg issue, the other a stomach issue.
Guluma, like many others, relies on his donkeys to transport jerrycans of water for sale in his community.
He claimed that he was unable to buy bread for my children after they developed ill. I pleaded with a man to take me here.
In Ethiopia, there were roughly nine million donkeys as of 2018 according to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. Donkeys are a major economic player in this East African nation of 130 million people, ploughing fields and moving goods, providing a low-cost alternative to cars at a time when fuel costs have skyrocketed.
Chane Baye, a regular visitor, makes money from moving sacks of grain across the city for clients with his two donkeys. His daily income ranges from 200 to 400 birr (roughly $1.50 to $3), which is a respectable amount for a nation where the World Bank’s poverty line is $2.15 per day.
The 61-year-old visits the clinic “every three months or so when they start sluggish or have a stomach issue,” he said.
Before this clinic, he explained, describing how nails were once crudely removed from the animals’ legs with a knife. “We used traditional ways to treat them,” he said. He is relieved that his donkeys now receive medical attention from professionals for their wounds and infections.
Vet Derege Tsegay performs a routine but unpleasant procedure by dipping into a depressed donkey’s rectum while wearing a rubber glove at the clinic.
The animal’s digestive tract had a large mass of stool that had accumulated after the discharge.
He said, “It happens frequently.”
Donkeys frequently ingest whatever they find, including plastic bags, which can wreak havoc on their digestive health because there isn’t enough food in the city.
Derege is proud of what he does, despite the frequently challenging nature of the work.
After declaring that a “chapter is over,” shortly after the Saudi Pro League was over, Cristiano Ronaldo indicated he could leave Al Nasrr.

According to Merseyside Police Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims, “We think this is an isolated incident, and we are not currently looking for anyone else in relation to it.”

According to Nick Searle, chief fire officer for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, four people were trapped beneath the vehicle and had to be taken out.

As police attempted to stop the car, angry fans stormed the back windows and sprayed the vehicle’s interior with blood.

Lorraine Kelly reportedly declined an offer by ITV to make merge her daytime show with Good Morning Britain (GMB).
The proposal would have given the TV veteran the opportunity to present the final 30 minutes of GMB, it is understood. As the same format was adopted during the COVID-19 pandemic, bosses reportedly saw the merge as an “easy fix”.
But sources have revealed Lorraine, 65, was “insulted” by the suggestion and told bigwigs it wasn’t a possibility, resulting in the reduced runtime of her show from an hour to 30 minutes. It is one of several changes ITV is making to its daytime schedule, including slashing Loose Women from 52 weeks of the year to just 30 – a cut Lorraine also faces.
Lorraine was pulled into a meeting last week with bosses, and it seems that while there are concerns, she remains focused on her show. A source told the Mirror: “We were very open about the challenges in the industry and so several options were discussed – the key was ensuring Lorraine was retained and was as comfortable as possible in a changing landscape. Her show is still hugely valued – the show recently had its highest audience share in 4 years and still reaches 2.7 million people.”

Sources claim that the Scottish star will have to “pull out all the stops” for it to survive. It was announced last week that the programme had been affected by the major shake-up at ITV. It will now air for 30 weeks of the year, rather than all year round. And the duration of the programme has been cut from an hour to just half an hour.

A source said: “Lorraine was not happy about what is happening and also had concern for the production team which will be cut back too. But the truth is she has to roll her sleeves up and work harder on her own show than she has in recent years, otherwise the long-term future does not look good.”

“Lorraine was pulled into a meeting with bosses where she was told about Good Morning Britain being taken over by ITN ahead of the public announcement,” an insider told Mail Online.
The source added: “It was proposed that her show would merge with GMB so that she presented the last 30 minutes of the broadcast, which is what happened when a reduced team were working during lockdown.
“But she told them no and said it wasn’t even a possibility… fast-forwarded two weeks and the channel announced her show would be cut from an hour to 30 minutes… The entire thing has been an insult and she’s certain to leave when the year-long contract ends.”
It was confirmed on Tuesday Lorraine, This Morning, and Loose Women will relocate from Television Centre to a new filming location, where they plan to share the same studio. There will be limited time between each show so changing the sets may not be an option, as the output of the programmes will likely suffer, it is now claimed.
A source added: “In January, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women are moving from Television Centre to a central London location, rumoured to be the Hospital Club in Covent Garden. All three shows will share the same studio, meaning sets will be massively reduced to save space and money.
“At present, This Morning broadcasts from a huge studio within Television Centre and Lorraine and Loose Women share one space. Lorraine’s set is flipped once they come off air and Loose Women is put in but the new set up is thought to involve all the shows sharing one space with no set flips in between.”
The Mirror has contacted ITV for further comment on the claims bosses tried to reach a deal with Lorraine, a Scottish broadcaster who has presented various television shows for ITV and STV since 1988.
