Daley Thompson’s Celebrity Big Brother housemates couldn’t believe his interaction with footballing legend David Beckham which turned out to be very awkward
Daley shocked his housemates with his surprising revelation
Celebrity Big Brother featured a jaw dropping moment on Wednesday night’s episode as Daley Thompson told his housemates a story about his run in with a young David Beckham. He made his revelation during a game of Never Have I Ever where the housemates were challenged to make some shocking confessions.
CBBC star Angellica Bell kicked things off, asking: “Have you ever been rude to a fan?” Without hesitation, Daley put his hand up, and told a story that left his co-stars open mouthed.
He shared: “Back in the day when I was training at Crystal Palace, I was pole vaulting – head down, totally focused. This kid comes up to me asking for an autograph. I said, ‘no not now, I’m really busy’. He tells me his school’s only there for an hour and I just told him no again. He walks off.”

It was what came next that left the house in total shock. Daley continued: “A few years later, I meet the kid again and he says to me, ‘you told me to f*** off’. I said, ‘yeah, not sure I did’… It was David Beckham.”

After a few moments of silence Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd couldn’t hold back, and called the story “brilliant”. Chesney Hawkes chimed in adding: “That’s a good one.”
Daley admitted he isn’t totally sure if he actually swore at the future football icon – but fans still went wild for the unlikely crossover. Elsewhere in the house, a heated exchange unfolded between EastEnders’ Patsy Palmer and The Only Way Is Essex star Ella Rae Wise. The drama kicked off when Danny Beard, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season four, asked if anyone had ever “hooked up with a really famous person”.

Wise confessed that a married celebrity had been sliding into her DMs, which didn’t sit well with Patsy who advised her against sharing such stories, especially about married individuals. She expressed her distaste to Hawkes, saying: “I hate that kind of thing. It brings it low. Like we’re not scum of the earth.”
Overhearing Palmer’s comments, Wise questioned why everyone was so serious, adding: “Pats made me feel really bad about saying that. But I didn’t reply to the DM. I didn’t reply to the DM.”
Patsy responded by advising Ella to be cautious, as she might regret her actions later on. She said: “I think it’s sometimes good to flag up ’cause everyone gets carried away. But you do have to be protective of yourself ’cause you might regret it in the morning. You know how things can go and it’s not nice.”
Ella clarified that the message was sent before the unnamed celebrity got hitched. Thursday night’s episode also saw the housemates nominate one another again.
It comes just two days after chat show legend Trisha Goddard became the second celebrity to be voted out by the public. So far, Sir Michael Fabricant has been evicted. Elsewhere, Hollywood legend Mickey Rourke was also booted out of the show by Big Brother.
Celebrity Big Brother airs at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
After a significant blackout that left 1.4 million people without power and 400, 000 without water, utility crews are restoring power to Puerto Rico. Hospitals, airports, and Easter celebrations were impacted by the outage. The island-wide failure was blamed on Luma Energy, according to Governor Jenniffer González Colón.  ,
A housemate who has yet to face the public vote is among those up for nomination on Celebrity Big Brother. The result of the latest nominations has been revealed ahead of the third live eviction taking place later this week.
The new series of the ITV launched just last week when thirteen celebrities entered the Big Brother house for the second series of the broadcaster’s revival. Ten housemates remain on the reality TV show at the moment but it’s been confirmed that there will be another eviction tomorrow.
It’s been announced on tonight’s episode that retired athlete Daley Thompson and EastEnders star Patsy Palmer are the latest housemates to face the public vote. It comes after Patsy was saved from the last eviction on Tuesday.
Daley and Patsy – who has expressed interest in leaving the Big Brother house lately to reunite with her family – received the most nominations from their fellow housemates. It means that they are now up for eviction tomorrow night.

Four housemates voted for Daley as part of the house’s third opportunity to nominate each other, with Patsy among those who nominated him. He was also nominated by presenter Angellica Bell, Love Island finalist Chris Hughes and comedian Donna Preston.
Patsy instead received five nominations. Angellica and Chris were among those who voted for the soap star. She was also nominated by RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard, former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa and the Only Way is Essex’s Ella Rae Wise.

Viewers are being asked to vote to save their favourite of the two nominated housemates. The outcome of the vote will be revealed by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best in tomorrow night’s live eviction ahead of an interview with the evictee.
The latest nominations come shortly after the second eviction, which took place on Tuesday night. Presenter Trisha Goddard was voted out of the Big Brother house that night after having been up against Patsy and Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd.

The three of them had received the most votes from their fellow housemates in the last nominations. Patsy had six nominations, whilst Jack and Trisha were named by four housemates. Trisha ended up losing the public vote.
Trisha became the second housemate to be evicted following politician Michael Fabricant having been evicted on the show last Friday. Actor Mickey Rourke was then asked to leave the house over the weekend following “unacceptable behaviour,” for which he’s apologised – meaning that three housemates have already left the new series.
Following her departure, Trisha told hosts AJ and Will in her exit interview: “It was an absolutely fantastic experience [being in the Big Brother house]. Trisha – who’s been diagnosed with cancer – also shared that she was “a bit sad” to be leaving, adding: “It meant a lot [to be there]. It was respite, a holiday, from having to think about cancer.”
Celebrity Big Brother continues with its live eviction on Friday night from 9pm on ITV, ITVX, STV and STV Player. Companion show Late & Live will air straight after the episode from 10.30pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
