Jo Whiley, a radio legend, revealed that in her most eye-catching celebrity interview, she was called “small and stupid” by the A-lister.

Jo Whiley has revealed the name of the rudest celebrity she’s ever interviewed in a jaw-dropping admission. The veteran broadcaster, 60, has interviewed a whole host of stars during her career as radio DJ, which saw her chat to some of the biggest names when she was on Radio One.
However, speaking to fellow presenter, Zoe Ball, on their Dig It podcast recently, Jo, admitted her confidence suffered after chatting to hip hop stars Eminem and Dr Dre when asked if she had ever been starstruck during an interview.
Telling Zoe she was made to feel “stupid” by Eminem – real name Marshall Mathers – she said: “I remember interviewing Eminem and Dr Dre one time and that was horrible. I’d interviewed Eminem when he was very young and he was very shy and polite. He kept calling me “ma’am” all the time and he was really, really sweet and humble. Then a couple of years later he came back on the show but with Dr Dre and the fame had happened and he was just this other creature altogether. They were just so playful with me – and can I just say they made me feel so tiny and so stupid.” It comes as Jo insisted she is choosing not to slow down after hitting 60 last month – and reckons big birthday are “not a big deal”.

The mother-of-five acknowledged that Zoe and Eminem’s conversation about being star-studded by the wealthy and famous was overall “a really unpleasant experience.”
The broadcaster made the revelation after coming out after admitting to having anxiety during the 1990s when she first started DJing.
She told Woman’s Health, “I remember doing one gig and being so terrified I realized I couldn’t continue.” This is absurd.
Because I have such a ball of anxiety, I’m ruining my life.
“But then I realized how happy I was making people when I played these shows,” she said.

Jo, who is now 60, insists that her milestone birthday, which she celebrated last month, is the same as everyone else’s. She is still one of the most sought-after DJs in the field.
She told Woman and Home that she didn’t think age was important when she turned 60 in July. “I don’t think age is that important.

Everyone keeps asking you about it because it’s something you very much don’t want it to be, but it does because everyone else keeps asking about it.
“It’s a strange circumstance to be in because I’m only one year younger than I was last year and one year younger than I will be next year.” There is a desire to reach specific milestones in response to one’s age. Too much attention is put on it by people.

Clogs are a warm, comfortable, and simple pair of shoes that will last you through the summer and into the fall. I found the best lookalike for Birkenstock’s £200 pair for less than £70.

I’ll be wearing my White Stuff studded suede clogs on repeat(Image: Faith Richardson)
Even though there are still a few weeks of summer left, I’ve already been reflecting on my outlook on autumn and, more specifically, my fall wardrobe. I made the decision to buy a pair of suede clogs, which I’ve been seeing all over, because transitional dressing is what I do when I shop right now.
Although Birkenstock’s Boston clogs are the standard style, numerous other brands have created their own versions, so when I saw White Stuff’s Myrtle Studded Slip On Footbed clogs, I had to buy them. They cost less than Birkenstock’s Boston Rivets, which cost £200 or £160 if purchased during Schuh’s sale, and are much more affordable than those that cost at £69.
Bohomoon has announced its “biggest ever” £10 jewelry sale, offering savings of up to 70%.
Hunter recently removed the ideal cowboy boot wellies for the festival season.
With a khaki green colorway and silver rivet studs adorning them, White Stuff’s Myrtle clogs are equally as chic and comfortable as their lower price tag. They appear much more expensive than their high street price tags, and there are many other subtleties, such as the whipstitch on the straps’ ends, silver buckles, and cosy shearling lining.
They’re made from real suede with a cosy fleece lining(Image: Faith Richardson)
The Myrtle clogs are made of real suede, which is soft, flexible, and durable, as well as a real leather insole and an EVA footbed that is both lightweight and flexible despite their affordable price tag. These pair are both summer and fall shoes thanks to the fluffy lining, which provides a little warmth and cosiness for those chilly days, and the slip-on style keeps them summer-appropriate.
The only thing to keep in mind is that suede can stain quickly, especially when wet. You’ll definitely want to keep them at home if there’s even a hint of rain in the air, which is why they’re ideal for cold, windy weather.
Despite the practicality, I liked how versatile the Myrtle clogs were. On cooler days, I can wear them with a breezy midi skirt and T-shirt in the sunshine, or with denim and cosy knitted jumpers.
You can easily style them with just about anything in your wardrobe(Image: Faith Richardson)
The Myrtle clogs are just roomy enough to go with socks for days when it’s particularly cold, which is a divisive styling choice I am firmly standing behind. I’ve worn them all day without rubbing or aching feet. They fit exactly like my regular size.
Saint + Sofia’s Studded Clogs, which cost £129 and come in a range of colors, including tan, khaki, and black suede options with a shearling lining, as well as cream and black leather versions, are other chic clogs on my wishlist. For a less expensive option, I also like New Look’s Brown Faux Suede Whipstitched Mules, which cost £29.99 and have a luxe-looking whipstitch design.

You’ll see me wearing White Stuff’s Myrtle Studded Slip On Footbed clogs with everything and everything in the coming months, but they definitely stole my heart for the new season.
After Selina Christoforou’s viral social media post, which he claimed is a “deadbeat dad,” comedian Mo Gilligan responded by criticizing his ex-wife.
Mo Gilligan has appeared to have confirmed he is a father as he shared a clip of his secret son after the mother of his child slammed him. The comedian, 37, is getting ready to welcome his first child with current partner Taia Tulher, 28.
However, his ex Selina Christoforou, 35, posted an explosive video on TikTok where she claimed he already has a child but is a “deadbeat dad”. She claimed she knows how few times the star has met his son Rudi and insisted you “can’t make someone be a dad”.
Their son was born in January 2024, and Selina claimed she could “count on her fingers and toes” how many times Mo has seen their child over the last 17 months. It comes after Liam Neeson’s son reacted to his dad’s romance with Pamela Anderson.

Mo shared a clip of him playing a game with the little boy(Image: @mothecomedian/Instagram)
Mo has continued to refute the allegations, but he has now made an appearance in response to Selina by posting a picture of Rudi. A young boy was playing a massive Connect 4 game in the short, black and white clip.
Mo decided to keep the boy’s identity hidden, but did include a very telling song alongside the clip. He paired it with Emotionless by Drake, which featured the lyrics: “I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world / I was hidin’ the world from my kid.
Breaking news in my life, I don’t run away from the blogs/The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call, “From empty souls, who just wake up and look at debate… until you starin’ at your seed, you can never relate.
“They always ask, “Why let the story continue if it’s false?” A wise man once said there was nothing to be ashamed of. It is believed that Mo met model Selina online and that he had never officially declared his intention to become a father when Rudi was born.
She learned about her pregnancy in May of 2023, and the two women were shocked by how cautiously things had turned out, according to a source.
His ex Selina hit out in a viral TikTok(Image: semclol/TikTok)
They added, “She found out she was pregnant in May 2023, and it was quite shock for them both because they were being fairly cautious,” in a statement to the Sun. Despite the fact that they weren’t actually a couple, she still wanted to have the child.
She and Mo see their son semi-regularly, and she adores him. He is excited about becoming a father for the second time and is excited about it. He feels comfortable with Taia and has been with her for a while.

Taking to social media, Selina hit out at Mo in a viral post as she fumed: “I just finally posted on Instagram about my son’s dad so for your information, if you don’t follow my Instagram I don’t blame you. Um, Mo Gilligan is his dad. Very much in quotation marks.”
She claimed that she believes things will improve with her, an unbelievable son. She continued to say that Mo had made it very clear he wasn’t wanting to be a father and that she “can’t make someone be a dad.”

Isesaki, in the southern Gunma Prefecture of the country’s northern Kanto region, had a scorching temperature record on Tuesday surpassing the previous week’s 41.2C (106.2) record in the western Hyogo region.
The previous high was 41.1C (106F) – seen in 2020 and 2018.
The weather agency reported on Friday that the month’s record high was 2.89C above the average from 1991 to 2020, making it the hottest month since records began in 1898.
The temperature reached 40C (104F) last week in Kyoto, the first observation point since it opened in 1880, and the newest observation point since 2002, according to authorities.
In 44 of Japan’s 47 prefectures, heatstroke warnings were issued.
The summer in Japan last year was the joint hottest on record, equaling the 2023 average, followed by the warmest fall since records began 126 years ago.
As a result of climate change, temperatures have increased significantly around the world, and Japan is no exception.
Experts warn that the beloved cherry trees in Japan are blooming earlier because the climate is warmer and winters are not cold enough to trigger flowering.
In comparison to the typical early October period last year, the famous snowcap of Mount Fuji didn’t appear until the longest period ever recorded.
The meteorological office, which has been collecting such data since 1973, reported that South Korea had its second-hottest July, with an average temperature of 27.1C (80.8).
The hottest July ever recorded in South Korea was in 1994, when the average temperature reached 27.7C (81. 9F).

To prevent heatstroke, maintain hydration, and avoid outdoor activities during high summertime, Japanese officials advise the public to seek shelter in air-conditioned rooms.
Japan, which has the second-oldest population in the world after Monaco, is especially vulnerable for the elderly.
According to Copernicus, an EU climate monitor, this year saw the region’s hottest June on record as a result of brutal extreme temperatures sweeping the country in punishing back-to-back heatwaves.
The temperature reached 4C higher in July, according to separate research that found that it was caused by climate change, pushing the thermometer into deadly territory for thousands of vulnerable people and significantly worsening the predicted death toll.

On Paul C. Brunson’s popular podcast We Need To Talk, the 23-year-old TikTok star, who also hosts the hit podcast We Need To Talk, opens up about two terrifying sexual assault experiences.

Caity Baser, a TikTok star, has revealed that she has a secret family feud that has resulted in her “blocking” of her mother.
Caity gives two harrowing sexual assault experiences in a heartbreaking new interview, and she claims she wants to be more outspoken about such difficult subjects.
She resurrected her troll pit a year later when she took a stand against body-shamers. The Pretty Boys singer, 23, addresses Paul C. Brunson in a candid interview on his popular podcast We Need to Talk about her deeply flawed decision to “block” her mother: “On paper, she was great – emotionally, not so much.

When Caity asked if she could get a contraception implant and asked if she could have one, the relationship with her mother strained, and Caity claims the conversation that ensued left her feeling “shamed.”
Caity, a nominee for the Brit Award, recalls: “She was like, “Why? ” You call yourself a s**g, right? Do you like to sleep? What will the boys think of you?

I distinctly recall being like, “Oh my God! I’m in the car!”
“Sex is something you should discuss with your kids,” he said. The birds and the bees conversation was something I had to have with my dad.
My father said, “So this is what happens… ” He was like, “Hey, so who was it then? ” as I laughed the entire way through.
“Because he already knew I’d already done it,” he said.
It was taboo for my mother to only have boys, relationships, and anything else.

Caity claims to have had a “great upbringing” and a “lovely life” because she was raised on a council estate in Southampton with her two big brothers.
She laughs when her brothers and dad wagered that if she posted her first musical video, she would go viral. “It went viral, but they never got their £50,” she says.
She claims she would like to travel through time and tell her mother she needs to have open communication with her without being s***ed or shamed.
However, the two are currently “don’t talk,” and Caity believes that the past two years have been”peaceful.”
She tells the Married at First Sight relationship expert, “She’s been blocked for like two years.”
“I wouldn’t just not talk to her without a reason,” she said. You become so uneasy at one point, like, “You literally make me so unhappy.”
“And I would have eliminated you years ago if it had been anyone else.” However, you are my mother, and that makes you unique.
She continues, “This is also her first home.” She is also permitted to make errors. That’s how you handle it, I suppose.
She continues, “I saw her for the first time at my brother’s wedding… I only saw her a few months ago.”
Without her, my life would be so peaceful, but she would have been interfering with my brain. “This is so sad.
Caity continues: “I feel like it’s just so far gone now – two years. When I saw her at the wedding it was just so weird. She was like: ‘Oh look I love you.’ And I was like: ‘I love you.”
She said, “Do you though, please? ” and she responded. Really?
“Oh God, I was like. I’m going to say, “Please mummy, love me” because I feel this big once more.
Caity is advised to express her feelings in a letter to her mother in an effort to reconcile.
Caity goes on to discuss how her grandad’s neighbor sexually assaulted her when she was eight years old, which she claims affected her relationship with her grandad in her song Weight of You.
Caity claims that her father weeps when he hears one of her songs.
She claims that this is where all of my issues with relationships and myself come from. “You trust an adult to do the right thing and make you feel safe, just like when you’re young.”
That’s such a big part of who I am and how I approach situations.
Caity claims that whenever her father hears the song, he “cries.”
Caity also reveals that a friend she had been seeing romantically at the age of 19 had raped her in her song Drank Me Dry.
She explains that there were two instances where it happened, and she didn’t want it to happen.
The lyrics to “Drank Me Dry” are “I really liked you, I really loved you, and you were so much fun.” And all it took was one night to ruin everything for me, make me feel so uncomfortable, and ruin everything. What purpose did that serve?
Caity recalls how she was “pretty drunk” at the time and that she resisted the man starting sex with her anyway because she resisted wanting to have sex with him.
She goes on to say, “I never believed there was anything wrong with what happened to me.”
She and her friend spoke about the incident for a year, and she was informed that the situation was unacceptable.
I sent him a text about a week later, saying, “By the way, I just thought you should know that that night… I remember everything that happened.
We’re going to have to agree to disagree on this one, I don’t believe that’s how it happened, I figuratively wrote it down, I sent it to him, and he returned.
I haven’t spoken to him since. Awful. “
This is also a continuation of the myth that having sex once gives you consent forever, as Caity describes how the man had appeared to believe they could have sex as they had previously done. Definitely not. “
Caity now hopes to represent victims of similar abuse.
She continues, “This is a specific topic that I am going to figure out how to become an advocate around,” adding that she enjoys “being” the voice of Gen Z and wants to use her platform permanently.
She says, “I’m personally going to try to do more.” These conversations are excellent starting points.
“I think I will continue to speak about issues that aren’t frequently discussed if I can be the voice of many young people.” those challenging subjects. Because having someone to look up to and say, “That happened to me. ” is really important.
