Kylie Jenner paid tribute to her best friend and hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, six months after he died “suddenly and unexpectedly”. The celebrity hairstylist Jesus had flown out to Paris as part of Kylie’s glam team in January for Fashion Week, but tragically died several weeks later.

His sister announced the heartbreaking news on social media at the time, writing: “My name is Gris, Jesus’s younger sister. It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more.”

She added: “Born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top. Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly.

And now, she took to her Instagram Stories to re-post polaroid pictures of her and Jesus together. “We miss you sm Jesus…” she wrote along with a white heart emoji and an angel emoji.

Huge EastEnders star quits showbiz for sudden move to India to practice religion

A fan-favourite EastEnders star has reportedly decided to make the surprise move to India to pursue the Hare Krishna religion

A fan-favourite EastEnders star is reportedly quitting the showbiz industry to move to India. The son of Jade Goody and Jeff Brazier, Bobby Brazier, rose to prominence with his role as Freddie Slater in the long-running soap in 2022. The role even earned him a National Television Award.

He was a contestant on the 21st series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2023 and finished as a runner-up. He also won a National Film Award UK for his performance in Curfew. Despite his success in the showbiz world, it has been said the star decided to quit and focus on Hare Krishna, a form of Hinduism.

A source has claimed the star is planning to stay in a commune in India following his final stint as Freddie on the BBC soap.

Speaking to The Sun, they claimed: “Bobby is really excited and happy about his move to India. He’s been telling everyone about it and preaching to them about why he is devoted to Hare Krishna.

“He’s such a nice young man, his heart is in the right place, but some people are surprised that he’s walking away from his career at a time when he’s on such a high with it.”

The insider went on to claim the actor plans on being there for at least a year and might ‘pick up’ on his career when he returns. The Mirror have reached out to his reps for comment.

The 22-year-old, who joined the BBC soap in 2022, became a fan favourite on EastEnders thanks to Freddie’s dramatic storylines, including the teen discovering unsettling truths about his biological father and navigating a potential romance with Anna Knight.

In June, it was revealed Bobby would be departing from the show later this year, and the actor recently spoke publicly about what lies ahead of him once he waves goodbye to Albert Square.

At the National Film Awards, where he won a prize for his work on the new Paramount+ series Curfew, Bobby admitted that his next steps are uncertain.

He told OK! Magazine: “I don’t know, I guess that’s how it really goes and how it works in this industry. You never really know what’s next until you go for it.

“But yeah, I’d like to play a variety of different roles so I can work out what I like, what I’m good at and what I need to work on.”

While EastEnders has confirmed Bobby’s upcoming exit, soap bosses had been keen to continue working with the actor. A spokesperson for the soap previously said: “We can confirm that Bobby Brazier will be leaving EastEnders, and we wish him all the best for the future.”

The Hundred men’s competition, Lord’s

London Spirit 186-4 (100 balls): Williamson 53 (28), Smith 44 (18); Bracewell 2-26

Southern Brave 139-9 (92 balls): Evans 37 (21), Roy 37 (23); Dawson 3-23, Gleeson 3-30

Spirit won by 47 runs

London Spirit kept their faint qualification hopes alive with a 47-run win over Southern Brave in The Hundred men’s competition at Lord’s.

Brave, whose own chances of finishing in the top three were significantly dented by the defeat, finished 139-9 – with the injured Reece Topley unable to bat – in pursuit of a challenging 187 to win.

The visitors were immediately pegged back in their chase by the loss of captain James Vince for four after just six balls, and Spirit chipped away with regular wickets to keep the run rate under control throughout.

Spinner Liam Dawson was the pick of the bowlers for Spirit with 3-23, while seamer Richard Gleeson backed him up with 3-30. Brave lacked a match-winning contribution, with Jason Roy and Laurie Evans’ efforts of 37 the highest scores.

Both Spirit and Brave now need to win their final matches, against Oval Invincibles and Welsh Fire respectively, and hope for other results to go their way – but even then it would still come down to net run-rate.

Knowing a defeat would knock them out, Spirit’s batters came out with admirable intent and David Warner and Jamie Smith raced to 43-0 from the powerplay.

Brave fought back to remove both openers in the space of four balls through spinner Michael Bracewell, with Smith making 44 from just 18 deliveries, but Spirit skipper Kane Williamson ensured his side did not lose the momentum.

Williamson smacked a 26-ball fifty and combined his usual touch and class with three powerful sixes, including two off England’s Jofra Archer, who struggled with figures of 1-42.

The Hundred men’s competition, Headingley

Northern Superchargers 198-4 (100 balls): Brook 56 (27), Crawley 49 (25)

Oval Invincibles 182-7 (100 balls): Ferreira 41 (15); Lawes 2-22, Duffy 2-39

Superchargers won by 16 runs

Northern Superchargers and Oval Invincibles are guaranteed a top-three finish after the Superchargers won the encounter between the two teams in the earlier match at Headingley.

Both teams have 20 points and only Trent Rockets, currently on 16 with two games to play, can match or overtake them.

After Harry Brook’s first half-century of this year’s Hundred and Zak Crawley’s rapid 49 helped Superchargers set a target of 199, Will Jacks’ 11-ball 25 gave the Invincibles a brisk start in their chase.

But Jacob Duffy halted his charge inside the powerplay before Tom Lawes struck twice, dismissing Tawanda Muyeye and the in-form Jordan Cox – who came into the match on the back of three consecutive half-centuries.

When Sam Curran edged Matthew Potts to wicketkeeper Michael Pepper, the Invincibles were reeling at 115-4.

But Donovan Ferreira gave them some hope by hitting three fours and three sixes from seven deliveries before falling for a 15-ball 41 – Duffy ending the chance of a dramatic comeback to set the Superchargers on their way to a crucial win.

Earlier, openers Crawley and Dawid Malan gave the hosts a flying start after being sent in to bat by Invincibles skipper Sam Billings.

Crawley set the tone, helping them race to 49 without loss by the end of the powerplay, before falling just one run short of a fifty.

Captain Brook consolidated the Superchargers’ innings with a 27-ball 56 that included five sixes and three fours, before David Miller added the finishing touches, launching Tom Curran for three consecutive sixes in the final set to take them to 198-4.
