Katie Price admits she’s not spending Mother’s Day with kids as she shares sad reason why

Former glamour model Katie Price, 46, wished fans a Happy Mother’s Day when she opened up about her own plans for the day

Katie Price won’t be spending Mother’s Day with her children

Katie Price has revealed that she won’t be spending Mother’s Day with any of her five children today – but insisted that she had an important reason why.

The former glamour model, 46, hit the road and wished fans a Happy Mother’s Day when she opened up about her own plans for the day. Katie – who is mum to Harvey (22) with Dwight Yorke, 19-year-old Junior and Princess (17) with ex-husband Peter Andre, and Jett (11) and Bunny (10) with ex-husband Kieran Hayler – told her followers to enjoy the day.

She said: “Happy Mother’s Day everybody! Enjoy your day. And all you kids, look after your mum today! Spoil her rotten. Talking of which, I’m not with my kids today because it’s my first show at panto. But they’ve given me cards and all they need to do and I love it. That means a lot”.

Katie also paid tribute to her terminally ill mum Amy, who was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) in 2017 and underwent a lung transplant in November 2022. She wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day to my mum who is my absolute world, a true example of a strong women. I love her soooo much.” [SIC]

She previously spoke about her heartbreaking IVF journey and her yearning to become a mum again in a Channel 4 documentary. Speaking on the Netmums Podcast last year, Katie told hosts Wendy and Alison that she does want more kids, and specified how many. Sharing an update, the TV personality said: “I still want more.” She added: “I’m at that stage and I do want more kids. I want more. And I don’t want to be told by a doctor or something that I can’t have more. I know I’m not done. If I could have two more kids I would.”

Katie went on to explain that while she “might act young and look younger”, she is 46 years old. “So I’m at that stage and I do want more kids”, she said, continuing: “I didn’t realise until I did the IVF that when you’re born, you’re born with a set of eggs, and every period you have, you know, you get rid of eggs. So mine are quite old now”.

She also shared how “grateful” she felt to have her children, and explained that she is exploring her fertility options because she knows she’s “not done” with having babies. During the chat, Katie also spoke candidly about bringing up her eldest child, Harvey, without his father in the picture. She said: “I brought him up as a single parent.

” And in a way, for me that’s been the easiest. I always say to women, sometimes it’s easier to bring them up on your own, especially if you do break-ups and you’re not sure about if you want to have a continual relationship with the guy. I’ve had no aggro with Harvey because no dad’s been present – the other guys aggro. So for me, being a single parent for Harvey has been a dream”.

More recently, Katie revealed that she is going through the menopause and says her body is ‘ ageing on the inside’. It came weeks after revealing she’s had a heartbreaking miscarriage.

Speaking on her podcast The Katie PriceLink opens in a new tab.” tabindex=”0″>Katie Price Show, Katie discussed 90s and 00s boybands reuniting – following the news Five are getting back together. And she shared her shock at how she’s the same age as the musicians from that era.

She said:” When Five are coming back and the Boyzone thing – did you see that? So we’re all looking so much older and I think, ‘ they’re the same age as me ‘ but I still don’t feel I’m old.

“But I know I am because even my body inside is going through the menopause, so I’m not a young spring chicken, it doesn’t matter how young I think I look, what tracksuit I put on and whatever. My body is old! It’s scary isn’t it? Inside my body it is ageing but the outside is fresh”, she said, referencing her numerous surgeries and tweakments.

Moreno defeats Erceg at UFC Mexico City Fight Night

Former two-time flyweight champion Brandon Moreno erased a stigma from his last Ultimate Fighting Championship Mexico outing, winning a unanimous decision against Steve Erceg in a flyweight title eliminator bout at the UFC Fight Night main event, sweeping the cards 49-46, 49-46, 49-46 over the former flyweight title challenger in Mexico City.

Although Saturday’s fight was closely competitive, Moreno won all but one round – Round 3 – on all three cards as the 31-year-old kept the fight standing and made Erceg come to him throughout the bout.

Moreno never came close to securing a finish against his opponent, but he outlanded his adversary 82-67 in total strikes, ensuring the Australian-born Erceg would not spring an upset against the hometown favourite.

Post-fight, Moreno called out UFC chief business officer Hunter Campbell regarding guidance for his next fight. Although Moreno did not name a would-be opponent explicitly, he requested to be part of UFC 320, scheduled for September 13 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

“I think I can move the needle”, Moreno said after the fight.

Erceg has dropped three in a row after a rapid UFC start, going back to the drawing board again.

“I’ll be back”, Erceg said.

In the night’s co-main event, Manuel Torres overwhelmed 12-year UFC veteran Drew Dober to secure a first-round technical knockout, where Dober took at least 16 unanswered shots to the side of the head before the referee stopped the fight.

Torres is back in the win column for the first time in more than a year, whereas Dober has lost four of his last five dating to May 2023.

In an earlier fight on Saturday, Mexico’s rising UFC bantamweight star Raul Rosas Jr survived a late scare from Vince Morales to fend off a third-round D’arce choke submission and win a unanimous decision 29-28, 29-28, 29-28.

Rosas Jr ignited his hometown crowd to earn his fifth win over his last six appearances, using his crisp boxing to frustrate Morales, who had not earned a win in mixed martial arts since last August before being re-signed to the promotion shortly thereafter.

Tinubu, Shettima Join Prayers As Nigerian Muslims Celebrate Eid-El-Fitr

President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, on Sunday, joined others for prayers at the National Eid ground in Abuja, as Nigerian Muslims mark the Eid-El-Fitr celebrations together with millions of others around the world.

Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu and some ministers are also observing the prayer in the same venue.

Eid-El-Fitr, meaning the festival of breaking the fast, is a time of gratitude, charity and communal harmony.

President Tinubu and VP Shettima offering Eid prayers in Abuja on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

It begins with special prayers known as Eid prayers held in Mosques and open spaces. Following the prayers, families share festive meals, exchange gifts and extend warm greetings.

Eid is a time to remember those less fortunate and to strengthen the bond of brotherhood and sisterhood. A key component of Eid is Zakat al Fitr, a mandatory charitable donation intended to ensure everyone irrespective of their financial situation can participate in the joy of the celebration.

This act of giving embodies the spirit of compassion and solidarity that Ramdan emphasizes. From the elaborate feast of South Asia to the festive clothing of Nigeria and the African continent and the warm gatherings of the Middle East, Eid celebrations vary across cultures, showcasing the rich diversity of the Muslim world.

The President attended Eid prayers in Abuja alongside the Vice President, Deputy Senate President, and others.

However, the underlining message of unity, gratitude and compassion remains universal.

Saudi announces Sunday as Eid day

Saudi Arabia and some other Gulf Arab states are to celebrate the Eid al-Fitr holiday from Sunday but other Middle Eastern countries will not do so until Monday.

“The Supreme Court has decided that tomorrow, Sunday, March 30, 2025, is the first day of Eid al-Fitr”, the Saudi Royal Court said in a statement carried by official media.

The timing of the holiday, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, is determined by the sighting of the crescent moon, in accordance with the Muslim lunar calendar.

The United Arab Emirates and Qatar also announced Sunday would be the first day of the holiday.

But neighbouring Oman and Jordan, as well as Shiite-majority Iran, said that Eid al-Fitr would not begin until Monday because the crescent moon had yet to be sighted. Egypt and other North African countries followed suit.

Sultan announces Sunday as Eid day in Nigeria

In Nigeria, the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, on Saturday night, declared Sunday as equivalent to 1 Day of SHAWWAL 1446AH and Eid-Fitri day across Nigeria.

The Sultan, who is the President-General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), said the decision followed the report of National Moon Sighting Committees across the country confirming the sighting of the new moon in several places in Nigeria.

The Sultan felicitated with the Nigerian Muslim Ummah and wished them Allah’s guidance and blessings, urging them to sustain the lesson learnt during the holy month of Ramadan.

Amy Hart has opened up about the highs and lows of parenting after welcoming her first baby on March 2, 2023. The Love Island star shares son Stanley with husband Sam Rason, and she made it clear the little boy has already given them plenty to be proud of.

Asked about her proudest moment during an exclusive chat with the Mirror, Amy, 31, shared: “I think my proudest is just Stanley’s social skills and the fact that he just loves everyone and he just loves life.”

The ITV star has been open about trying to have a second child in the past, and explained of her excitement: “We always say we can’t wait to have a second child to see whether it actually was anything that we did or whether it was just him. But a lot of people say to us that, you know, the reason he’s so chilled is because of you guys.”

Amy did admit that it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, considering she’s busy as a content creator and podcaster. She said that for her, the most challenging thing about motherhood was “trying to juggle work and him… there’s only a certain number of years before he goes to school and I want to make the most of them, but also I do have to work as well.”

However, the former British Airways stewardess said that she’d figured out the best way to make things work for her career and her family.

“I want to give him real quality time so I try and set aside days that are ‘ no work days ‘ and then sort of just smash out all the work on the days I am working just so that he gets my full attention”, she said.

Amy, who has just launched her Amy Hart’s Mum’s Club podcast explained that she wouldn’t want to spend time with Stanley by “sticking him in front of the telly” while she works in the background, so instead makes sure she gets all of her work done while he’s with her doting family or at his baby group.

Amy and Sam tied the knot in September 2024, opting for a destination wedding with 155 guests in Málaga, Spain, when Stanley was just 18 months old.

Asked how she handled the major getaway, Amy explained that having so many friends and family there helped, with everyone willing to pitch in and look after the little one while she and Sam prepped.

She also had some major advice for how to sit back and enjoy a big event with kids present, sharing that she contacted someone she’d met who worked at a nursery in Spain and asked if she’d like to go to the wedding and be “legally responsible for]Stanley] i. e sober”.

Amy and Sam were in Spain for two weeks before the four-day-long wedding celebrations, and prepped Stanley for the big day by setting up plenty of play dates with him and their childminder, Ellie, before they walked down the aisle.

She added that getting professional help can come in super handy, and while family members might offer to look after the kids: “Everyone wants to do it until the shots come out at 10 o’clock”. Amy gushed: “Having someone there that is legally responsible for your child, that is sober… is amazing”.

After a couple of years as a mum, Amy summarised her main advice for other parents. “I]always] say if you’re lucky enough to have help offered to you, take it. People are offering it because they want to help you”, she urged.

Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace slams ITV reboot with brutal three-word statement

Big Brother legend Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has slammed the revamped reality show ahead of the return of Celebrity Big Brother, admitting that she believes the show is ‘ filtered ‘

Aisleyne is speaking out on her explosive time on Big Brother

Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has never been one to mince her words, and she is keeping it real once again – this time, taking aim at the new era of Big Brother, slamming the show in a brutal statement.

The outspoken reality star, who became a household name after her fiery stint on Big Brother in 2006, has shared her unfiltered thoughts ahead of Celebrity Big Brother ’s much-anticipated return on 7 April. And, in true Aisleyne style, she hasn’t held back.

When asked about the rebooted series, the 46-year-old didn’t hesitate before delivering her verdict in a brutal three-word takedown: “It’s all filtered now”.

Aisleyne first burst onto screens as a late entrant in Big Brother 7, immediately shaking up the house with her fiery attitude and quick wit. She was never afraid to stand up for herself – whether that meant clashing with housemates like Grace Adams-Short or forming close friendships with Glyn Wise and Pete Bennett.

Arriving on Day 12 of the seventh series of the Channel 4 show back in 2006, the London-born beauty managed to chaos in the iconic house – famously uttering the line “You better know yourself if you’re talking about me, little girl!” during a row with the late Nikki Grahame.

The feisty housemate made it all the way to the final on Day 93 – finishing up in third place with 22% of the public vote, with Pete Bennett crowned champion.

The TV personality, who famously clashed with housemates during her time in the house, insists that today’s version of the show lacks the raw authenticity that made Big Brother such a cultural phenomenon in its heyday.

Aisleyne
Aisleyne admitted that she feels the new era of the show is “too scripted”

“The casting has been good recently, but you just can’t top my year”, Aisleyne admits, “And that’s not the narcissist in me speaking – it’s facts! I haven’t even watched my whole series back, but… it was just real. It felt raw. People actually went on journeys. Reality TV now? It feels scripted”.

The former finalist – who was crowned the nation’s favourite female housemate of her year – says reality TV has changed beyond recognition. “It’s forgettable, now. It’s not what it used to be. People are too PC, too scared to have proper arguments, but people love watching a bit of drama! It’s all filtered now.”

Aisleyne also took a swipe at the recent Big Brother winner, confessing that she couldn’t even name them. “I was on TikTok Live the other day, and someone asked me who won Big Brother last year. They kept saying a name, and I was like”, I don’t know who that is. “

Despite her criticism, Aisleyne still has love for the show that made her famous.
