Sean Ono Lennon, the son of John Lennon, has taken to Twitter to attack Snow White star Rachel Zegler, who has been the subject of controversy.

John Lennon’s son didn’t hold back as he took aim at Snow White star Rachel Zegler. The actress has been surrounded by controversy in recent weeks following the release of the Disney remake which has pulled in a mere $43 million in the opening weekend, almost half of what it was expected to make.
But Sean Ono Lennon insists that the backlash surrounding Rachel, 23, has gone too far as people have personally hit out against her and her political views. It’s reported that Disney had employed a social media expert for Rachel who has been vocal about her opposing views to US president, Donald Trump following his re-election in November last year. After the results emerged, she took to Instagram to express her concerns.

“May Trump supporters … never know peace” and signed off with “F— Donald Trump,” she fumed on Instagram. She apologised the week after for her post which left many Trump supporters enraged. Now, in view of his 376,000 followers on X, formerly known as Twitter, Sean didn’t hold back as he shared his views.

He claimed in a now-deleted post that “I think the vilification went too far.” She also acts as a disgruntled, spoiled brat. Therefore, it is not surprising. He made an appearance in a previous post to defend Rachel from trolls, saying that “Both Gal Gadot AND Rachel Zegler are incredibly attractive women. Some of you are “bugging” others.
Some people said, “But beauty is on the inside,” he continued. That is not the type of beauty that qualifies you for bodybuilding, modeling, or acting jobs. In the beauty department, some people have a genetically unique gift, which is a fact.
If you don’t have good genetics, for instance, you can do a lot to improve your style and personality, but none of that will win you a bodybuilding competition. Let’s not be babies; instead, the inside is not beautiful.

When a hateful user called Rachel a “pathetic, hateful, and untalented person,” Sean defended her, adding: “Possibly. I have nothing to say about my post, maybe. He responded, “WTF are you even taking about?” by responding to another critic. Never once did I call them nice people.
“There have been so many insults to them that it’s crazy,” he said. Additionally, you are now bugging. They are unquestionably beautiful. I had no idea how beautiful their “inner beauty” was. Why do you think like a moron so frequently?
Rachel, meanwhile, has previously hit out at the 1937 classic, branding it “weird” and outdated. Speaking about the movie just days after the trailer was released in August last year, she said: “She’s not going to be saved by the prince, and she’s not going to be dreaming about true love.”

She added that Prince Charming was “literally a stalker” on social media. Disney cut back on the film’s premiere and promotion and avoided holding any red carpet interviews for the Hollywood premiere due to the negative feedback received.
Only a select few media members were permitted to speak on camera during pre-agreed interviews at Segovia Castle in London, with Rachel and Gal Gadot missing.
For the chance to win the top spot in the Club World Cup this summer, Major League Soccer’s LAFC and Mexican side Club America might play a one-off play-off match.
The winner of the play-off match would take Club Leon’s place after being expelled from the competition for breaking Fifa’s multi-club ownership rules due to dual ownership issues with fellow qualifiers Pachuca and other competitors.
Club America is the team with the highest ranking in Confederation Ranking after Club Leon, who defeated LAFC in the 2023 Concacaf Champions League final.
A Fifa statement read, “Fifa can confirm it is considering one play-off match between LAFC and Club America for the right to play in the Fifa Club World Cup 2025.”
In Group D, Club Leon were drawn against Chelsea, Flamengo, and Esperance Sportive of Tunisie.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has heard from Club Leon.
An unfinished appeal is also being brought by Costa Rican side Alajuelense, who originally lodged a complaint against Leon. Cas will hear both on April 23.
Former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud and former France captain Hugo Lloris both play for LAFC, who are eighth in the MLS Western Conference.

Noel Gallagher teased his potential setlist for the 2025 reunion tour and opened up for the first time about the Oasis ticket sale craze.

Noel Gallagher has spoken for the first time about his shock at the pandemonium over the Oasis ticket sales – and also hinted at some songs which will definitely (maybe) be played this Summer alongside brother Liam.
For his newest book, Oasis: The Masterplan, the guitarist gave photographer Kevin Cummins an interview.

Asked about the Oasis Live 25 ticket sales, Noel said: “I thought it’d be a big deal, but I was a bit taken aback by just how much of a big deal it was.”
He is also quizzed by Cummins to name his favourite Oasis song but replied: “Can I have more than one? Supersonic, Some might say, Live forever and Rock’n’Roll Star.” All these songs are from early in the band’s career and are now expected to be played when the tour kicks off in Cardiff in July.
Noel responded, “The best doesn’t exist,” when asked to name his own best live performance he had seen. U2, Paul Weller, Neil Young Goldie, Ennio Morricone, The Strokes, Young Fathers, and a plethora of other artists have all been things that have stayed with me throughout the years.
Twelve months of seismic change that anchored the identity of Oasis from early 1994 are documented in Cummins’ 256-page book of photographs, many of which are never seen before.

Twelve months of seismic change that anchored the identity of Oasis are documented in Kevin Cummins’ 256-page book of photographs.
These images show the masterplan beginning, from the just-bought-at-Affleck’s Palace attainability of their look to the Brother-sponsored Man City Shirts, the changing backgrounds from Maine Road, the Peveril of the Peak pub, and the Arndale Centre to riotous early gigs, the Virgin Megastore, and the red buses of London. Two brothers are positioned in the center, hinting at a sound that will almost be audible in the images and how it will appear everywhere.
Noel is questioned if Oasis could have existed anywhere else in the book, besides in Manchester. He replies, “Absolutely not,” saying. We are Mancuinians, y’know. There is something we have. That is the thing that the rest of the world adores. Why? F**k knows”.
He resisted catching himself singing an Oasis song while driving or doing something else, in contrast to Oasis fans. He continued, “Actually, I occasionally go for a walk if I’m stuck in my head and try to work through something in my head.”
When Cummins first took a picture of the band, he claimed Liam had “an angelic face back then.” He continued, “It was the perfect look for the British music magazine market, and so it was proven to be.”
On July 4 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Noel and Liam will join forces for the first time since their band split in 2009. The band’s lineup is now believed to have been completed, and rehearsals are also scheduled to begin soon.
Joey Waronker and other well-known former Oasis band members are joining Liam and Noel Gallagher on drums. Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Joey Waronker are reportedly the full lineup that NME has reported.

Richard Ashcroft and Cast, who are close friends with the band, will also be performing in the shows. Gene will instead be watching from the sidelines with Lennon because it is not believed that Villanelle will currently be playing in a support role.
Czech teenager Jakub Mensik upset Novak Djokovic 7-6 (7/4), 7-6 (7/4) to win the Miami Open at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, denying the Serb his 100th career title.
The 19-year-old, ranked 54th in the world, claimed his first title on the ATP Tour with an outstanding display of powerful tennis.
The final was delayed by almost six hours due to heavy rain and when the players emerged it was clear that Djokovic had an eye infection. He used eye-drops during a changeover in the first set.
Mensik started strongly, breaking Djokovic’s first serve game to go 2-0 up and the tall, big-serving Czech was dominating until, at 4-2 Djokovic broke back when Mensik found the net.
The set remained on serve from then on, but in the tie-break Mensik’s powerful serve, with two aces, put him in charge from the outset. He opened up a 5-0 lead and although 24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic fought back the youngster sealed the set with an overhead volley.

It was the first set that Djokovic had lost in the entire tournament. Twice he lost his footing and ended up on his back, and he changed his footwear between sets.
Mensik had beaten Djokovic by the exact same margin in the first set of their only other meeting in Shanghai before losing in three sets.
This time, however, the momentum appeared to be with him.
The second set was a nip and tuck affair, though, with neither player able to break. Once again Mensik’s power proved decisive in the tie-break and when Djokovic went long on a return to hand him victory he fell to his back in celebration.
“To be honest I don’t know what to say. It feels incredible, obviously”, Mensik said in his on-court interview.
“It was probably the biggest day of my life and I did super, which I’m really glad (about), to show the performance and keep the nerves outside of the court before the match.
” I feel just super happy and I think that the feelings will come later, “he said.
Mensik has made no secret of the fact that he grew up with Djokovic as his idol and after receiving the trophy he said that he started his career in the hope of emulating the Serb.
” There is no harder task for a tennis player than to beat you in the final of a tournament, “he said.
” I am pretty sure that this was just the first of many, “Mensik added, before revealing that he had been close to pulling out of the tournament before his first match due to a knee injury before last minute physiotherapy produced the desired results.

After the match Djokovic admitted he had not felt at his best.
” It’s unfortunate for me. Two tiebreaks, just very weird match, weird day with rain delay and all the things that (were) happening. Honestly, yeah, I didn’t feel my greatest on the court, but it is what it is. Nothing to take away from his victory, “he said.
Asked specifically about his eye problem, the Serb said:” I really prefer not to talk about — there are quite a few things, but I prefer not to… just congratulate him. That’s it. I don’t want to sound like I’m giving excuses here for my loss. “
Djokovic said he had spotted Mensik’s talent a few years ago and invited him to train at his club.
” I saw him play when he was 15 or 16 and invited him, we had some training blocks together. He was training at my club in Belgrade, and, you know, to see his development and evolution is really great, amazing, “he said.
” Never really happy to lose, but he’s one of the very few players that I would be happier to lose to, to be honest. “
The match between the 37-year-old Djokovic and Mensik was the biggest age gap difference in a Masters 1000 final and the biggest age gap of any tour-level final since 1976.

Ollie congratulated me on announcing that the Reform Party will run for mayor of Los Angeles and Lanreath in May. It’s time to act because our freedom of speech and society have been severely compromised.
I’m making my first political leap by putting my first foot forward because I’m not ready to stand by and wait for someone else to solve the situation while it all burns.

If you’ve followed me so far, the ex-TV star continued, “I hope you’ll trust my judgment when I say I believe this is the best course of action for the protection of your free way of life.”
“If you support Reform and our beliefs, please ensure you cast your ballots or apply for a postal or proxy vote, and … Vote for the UK Reform movement.
At the May 1 local election, Ollie hopes to win a seat in the rural areas of Lostwithiel and Lanreath. This year, all 87 of Cornwall Council’s seats will be up for election.
Ollie describes himself as a “countryside steward and farmer” who will “focus on community led projects,” and his campaign poster was unveiled alongside the announcement.
He sat on a muddy track wearing a pair of wellies as he claims the “mission to fix broken Britain starts local”. Ollie had a very short stint on Love Island five years ago as he left after just three days.

It is not the first time Ollie has sparked controversy, as he was heavily criticised for posing with animals he had killed. Ofcom received 231 complaints after the pictures began being spotted online.
More than 38, 000 people signed a petition to have him leave the show when it was announced.
Amid the backlash, Ollie insisted he left the show due to personal issues instead. In his first statement since quitting, Ollie said: “I have to be honest with myself, and everyone, that I do still love someone else… I have to follow my heart in this scenario and it would be wrong for me to ignore these feelings.
This is Love Island, and it’s all about finding love, the saying goes. It wouldn’t be fair to them if I carried anything on with Paige or any other girl who might enter the villa.
Ollie, who is the son and heir of Andrew Williams, Viscount Clifden, the Lord of the Manor of the Lanhydrock Estate, in Cornwall, brushed off any criticism as he posed with dead animals again.

Ollie continued to hunt after the scandal, posting a photo of himself killing deer while visiting Cornwall on Instagram. He defended his actions in the caption, “Huntering is Conservation.”

The “office sirens” are being attacked for their lack of professionalism, but are they really pushing the limits too far, or are there economic and political reasons for the trend toward more modest corporate attire?

Leather miniskirts, tube tops and corseted shirts and push-up bras are all the rave at the moment, but do they have a place in today’s corporate world? According to the ‘office siren’ trend on TikTok, the answer is: “duh”. But the internet is divided on whether ‘office sirens’ have lost the plot, especially considering their risqué outfits might cost them their jobs.
One TikTok comment detailing how an woman lost a lucrative job over her ‘office siren’ work attire has sparked a heated response online. The original comment reads: “We have a college credit paid 25 per hour intern position that goes straight to a six-figure job at graduation. This girl wore an ‘office siren’ outfit day two and was immediately fired for it. And yes, we can fire for that. It’s in the contract she signed when taking the job. Literally lost a guaranteed £20k comfy job over a leather miniskirt and tube top combo.”

Dozens of response videos have popped up agreeing that the risqué outfit has no place in the workplace and that no outfit is worth losing your job over (especially one so high paying). But some commenters argued that it’s the ‘office sirens’ of TikTok and Instagram that are to blame for misleading young women who are entering the corporate world for the first time. One TikToker said: “Stop letting these influencers who don’t work pollute your mind with this trending b——t.”
Over the past few years, the “office siren” trend has grown in popularity on social media. Also known as “corpcore” or “corporate fetish,” it is also known as “corpcore.” After the pandemic returned to work, the trend, which was characterized by skin-tight skirts, bayonetta glasses, push-up bras, and revealing button-downs, resurfaced in the wider fashion community.
The ‘office siren’ trend began appearing on runways as a call-back to power dressing movements of the ‘80s and on-screen references like Gisele Bündchen’s assistant character in The Devil Wears Prada and Jennifer Anniston’s style from Friends. Model Bella Hadid became a poster-child for the trend last year, rocking slim glasses, a sleek bun, and belly-button revealing button-downs.

Following the Covid-induced global lockdowns, the ultra-feminine-style attire became popular with business resumption. It was dubbed a rebellion against masculine-dominated, stuffy office attire. However, recent TikTok discourse has made it clear that rebellion and personal expression may need to take a backseat to corporate demands in some cases.
There are a few social and political factors that may be at play here. One is a notable shift to more conservative dressing that we often see during times of economic difficulty. The best example of the shift to more modest dressing was the recent Pretty Little Thing’s rebrand.
The fast-fashion brand long-known for being the go-to retailer for budget-friendly promiscuous party outfits shocked loyal customers by relaunching their website and clothing line with slightly more expensive, muted and minimalist styles. The “boring” rebranddraws parallels to the recession-core trend of the 2010s.
Recession-core is a trend that rose as a result of the 2008 recession, where understated, practical outfits took precedence over embellished and flashy styles. In this era, going-out attire looked oddly similar to corporate wear.
Even girls who were too young to work started wearing fitted blazers, silky button-downs, high buns, and peplum tops. Every magazine had a day-to-night look, with women dressing for both work and play and putting their weight on multi-use, transitional pieces for convenience and cost-effectiveness rather than fashion for fashion purposes.
PrettyLittleThing’s rebrand was called ‘boring’ by loyal fans(Image: PrettyLittleThing)
The “boring” rebranding of Pretty Little Things and the recession-core trend both highlight the importance of “lilac economics.” In order to maintain a sense of normalcy and project a higher status appearance, consumers, especially women, are more willing to spend money on small, affordable luxuries (like lipstick and conventional, practical clothing items) during times of uncertainty.
One of the potential causes of “office sirens” feeling less inclined to push the boundaries of office style and invest in more traditional, practical staples is the current economic situation. The notable shift to more “traditional” and “manifest” workplaces is another plausible cause of the “office siren’s death.”
Social progress that empowered women to express their personal style in the workplace is becoming increasingly tenuous. The mass rollback of DEI initiatives in the US is bleeding into the UK as companies like BT, Goldman-Sachs and Co-op deprioritise programs to boost racial and gender equity in the workplace.
Women are disproportionately affected by these rollbacks, which affect mentoring programs and fair hiring practices. What, however, is related to style in this context? The “office siren” may be stifling their boundary-pushing and rebellious attitude as a result of worries that they will lose their foothold at work.
Shifting cultures toward male-driven workplaces and reduced protections and programmes for women might also mean that younger women simply do not feel safe to show skin and dress in form-fitting attire in the workplace. According to a Freedom of Information (FOI) request submitted to the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS), there is a rise in the number of sexual harassment disputes in the workplace. ACAS, an independent UK public body that works to improve workplace relationships and resolve disputes, recorded 7,245 cases of sexual discrimination disputes in 2024 – an increase of 6.2 per cent from 2023.
Similarly, a 2023 Trade Unions Congress poll revealed more than half of women (58 per cent) have experienced sexual harassment, bullying, or verbal abuse in the workplace. That figure rises to almost two-thirds (62 per cent) for women aged between 25 and 34.
