Five tickets are still available if you missed out on new tour dates

Five confirmed the most exciting news earlier this month: they’re getting back together. And this reunion news got even better just before the weekend as well.

The band confirmed a batch of additional dates for their upcoming UK tour. Due to overwhelming demand, the group – made up of Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, Sean Conlon, Abz Love and Jason “J” Brown – will be playing their Keep On Movin ‘ tour across 20 dates in the UK this November in total.

These new dates mean they’ll be hitting some new cities, including Dublin, Belfast and Sheffield. On top of that, London, Manchester, Glasgow and more received even more dates.

The first string of dates were recently confirmed, but upon new dates being announced, the band commented: “Absolutely buzzing to share that we’re adding even MORE dates to the Keep On Movin ‘ 2025 Tour!! To say we’re overwhelmed by the response to the tour so far would be an understatement, we’re truly speechless. Getting all this support 25 years on is nothing short of mindblowing. We cannot wait to be back on that stage surrounded by our incredible fans, make sure you get your tickets!”! (sic)

Tickets for these shows were released late last week, to monumental demand. We’ve got the full breakdown of what you need to know below, including where to buy and where Five are playing in the UK.

How to buy Five tickets now

Five tickets were released on Friday, March 7, 2025, across a number of ticket websites. This included the likes of Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

While many tickets were swiftly snapped up, here’s the links you need:

However, considering how popular the band’s comeback was, tickets sold out at a lot of these dates in no time. As a result, many fans were left without any chance of buying tickets to their ideal shows.

Thankfully, there is still hope. Tickets are still plentiful across resale websites across the internet.

Retailers such as viagogo and StubHub allow fans to dive into the tours without struggle. Here’s the links you need:

viagogo and resale tickets

Sites such as Viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale – such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation – to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.

Five are back together, and they’re going to play some massive shows. (GETTY)

Five first formed in 1997, the band sold more than 20 million records worldwide. On top of charting in more than 20 countries, they are the only UK act to hit the top ten with all of their singles.

The band will be playing a huge amount of shows this year. Here’s the list:

Why Food Prices May Still Rise – Buhari’s Ex-Aide

Dolapo Bright, a former Special Adviser on Agriculture to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, says the minimal reduction in the prices of food commodities currently experienced in Nigeria is not sustainable.

The farmer attributed the temporary decline in the prices of grains to the importation intervention of the Federal Government last July.

Bright was a guest on Sunday’s edition of Inside Sources with Laolu Akande, a socio-political programme aired on Channels Television.

Food Crisis

He said, “By December, onion was reaching ₦200, 000 to ₦300, 000. Now, onion is down.

” The reason onion price is down at this time is because the dry season harvest is out, and there are lots of people doing dry-season harvest production in Kano, in Sokoto, and in Kebbi – all of them are bringing out onions.

“So, the price of onions will come down, the price of tomatoes will come down, and the price of pepper will come down.

” But last week, the price of Ata rodo (pepper) is up again because we forgot about demand and supply. We are having problems with grains now in terms of price because the government imported grains from outside the country at zero duty, which, to me, is a disgrace. So many farmers are not happy about what is happening.

“The government is not looking at this, we are celebrating the importation of grains from other countries, and these countries support their farmers. Thailand supports rice farmers with $1.6bn every year in subsidies. Europe supports farmers generally, $34bn annually, even more than the United States”.

He said the Nigerian government’s support for farmers has not translated into progress for the agriculture sector.

“Even our support is destroying the farmers. Let me give an example. Last year, the President said we are going to give fertilisers to farmers. We started planting now and will plant till June, and the government wants to give them fertilisers in July. And the fertilisers came in September. It’s too late”, he said.

“We must not jubilate, the price of food is still going to go up unless the president will continue to import food. The demand for food in Nigeria is high, with a population of over 200 million. We’ve got to produce every time, not once in a year, and the government must support the farmers because the support of farmers is critical to food security”.

Also, an analyst, Moheed Dahiru, agreed with Bright, saying Nigerians have not felt the impact of the government’s intervention in the agriculture sector. He said the government has jeopardised Nigeria’s food security with its reforms.

Dahiru said, “Nobody is feeling the impact, and it cannot be felt because there was a sharp rise in the prices of food commodities between May 29, 2023, and February this year (2025), way above the affordability threshold of the majority of the people of Nigeria.

” Even the implementation of the ₦70, 000 minimum wage has not helped to mitigate the problem of unaffordable food items for the majority of our people.

“There are some defective interventions in the government. What the government seeks to do by way of public reforms have ended up probably deforming our economy, and has jeopardised food security in the process”.

He regretted that the available food commodities in the market are unaffordable as the earnings of Nigerians have nosedived in the last two years.

Dahiru called for a concise policy for the country to guarantee food security.

Food and commodity inflation have skyrocketed as Nigerians battle what can be considered the worst cost-of-living crisis since the country’s independence over six decades ago.

According to data by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Nigeria’s food inflation rate in November 2024 was 39.93% on a year-on-year basis, from 32.84% recorded in November 2023.

However, with the rebasing of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), which measures the rate of change in prices of goods and services, the country’s food inflation rate was put at 26.08% for January 2025. Also, the headline inflation rate was rebased from 34.80% in December 2024 to 24.48% in January 2025.

The average prices of food commodities such as rice, yam flour, millet whole grain, corn flour, egg, milk, frozen chicken, among others, have jumped up in about two years.

Economic wizards have attributed the astronomic rise in food inflation to President Bola Tinubu’s twin policies of petrol subsidy removal and unification of the forex rates.

To stem food inflation, the Tinubu administration in July 2024 announced the suspension of customs duties on imported food items but the policy has reportedly not seen the light of the day due to bureaucratic bottlenecks.

Russia expels two British diplomats for alleged spying

Russia has accused two British diplomats of spying and ordered them to leave the country within two weeks, the latest in a series of tit-for-tat expulsions over alleged espionage.

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Monday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had revoked the accreditation of the diplomats, accusing them of providing false information when obtaining permission to enter Russia.

The counterintelligence agency further said it had “identified signs of intelligence and subversive work” that the two personnel had carried out, harming Russian security.

The announcement came as diplomatic relations between Russia and the United Kingdom continue to deteriorate in the wake of the former’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

On Friday, a jury in London convicted three Bulgarian nationals based in the UK for carrying out “industrial-scale” spying for Russia.

Last week, a Russian court also sentenced to 19 years in prison a British man captured while fighting for Ukraine in Russia’s Kursk region.

And in early February, the UK said it would revoke the accreditation of a Russian diplomat, in retaliation to a similar move made by Russia in November last year.

The FSB did not identify the two diplomats by name, but said they were the British embassy’s second secretary and the husband of the first secretary, who came to the country “under the cover of the national embassy”.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also summoned a British embassy representative in connection with the allegations.

In a statement, a UK Foreign Office spokesperson denounced Russia’s latest expulsion and accusations of spying.

“This is not the first time that Russia has made malicious and baseless accusations against our staff”, the spokesperson said.

Intelligence scandals throughout Russian President Vladimir Putin’s quarter-century in power have strained diplomatic ties between Russia and the UK.

In 2006, the UK had accused Moscow of being behind the assassination of former Russian agent and Kremlin critic Alexander Litvinenko in a London poisoning attack.

And in 2018, the UK and its allies expelled dozens of Russian embassy officials they said were spies over the attempted poisoning of former double agent, Sergei Skripal, with Soviet-era nerve agent Novichok.

Danny Jones warned of ‘huge mistake’ as silence on wife’s ‘humiliation’ rumbles on

Singer Danny Jones has been warned of coming across as “evasive” if he speaks out too late following reports he shared a “drunken kiss” with Maura Higgins.

It’s been claimed the McFly frontman, who has been married to his wife Georgia Horsley since 2014, had a “drunken kiss” with the Love Islander while at a BRITs afterparty last week, with another video appearing to show the pair deep in conversation while at another gathering.

In the wake of the reports, Danny has remained quiet, and Maura has fled the country after jetting to Los Angeles International Airport from London Heathrow Airport for an “exciting shoot”.

A PR crisis expert has now urged Danny to speak out sooner rather than later in a bid to avoid coming across as “calculated” to fans regarding the situation. Edward Coram-James, CEO of Go Up, told the Mirror: “Danny needs to speak sooner rather than later. Silence will only fuel the fire and make him look evasive – worse – calculated”.

He added: “Under no circumstances should he use the dreaded notes app/Instagram apology – so overdone and formulaic at this point that it’s a tired cliché and also so easy to hide behind, especially with comments turned off”.

“The authenticity needs to come across in a more meaningful way, perhaps through a well-thought-out, personal statement – possibly an interview or video where he speaks directly to the camera”.

The warning comes after Danny, who won the latest series I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! back in December, was spotted appearing to kiss fellow campmate Maura while at a BRITs afterparty. At the time, it was claimed the pair “seemed to be having a great time” at the event. Speaking to The Sun, a source alleged, “They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss”.

A week later, a new video emerged of Maura and Danny from their night out after they travelled separately from the afterparty to a different afterparty at Nobu Hotel in London. In the video obtained by The Sun, the duo seemed to be deep in conversation at the other gathering.

“Danny and Maura seemed to be enjoying their night of partying and had no plans to call it a night. They were knocking back wine at the Nobu from 4am and seemed keen to carry on. They weren’t seen leaving before 6am”, a source told the publication.

Since the footage emerged, Danny and Maura have both kept a low profile. Danny’s wife Georgia, who is alleged to have felt “slapped in the face” by the reports, recently cancelled a public appearance and failed to appear on a new episode of her Mum’s The Word! With Georgia Jones and Kelsey Parker podcast. Instead, Kelsey presented the episode, which featured an interview with Olivia Bowen solo.

A source has claimed that Danny and Georgia are now engaged in ‘ crisis talks ‘ in an attempt to save their 11-year marriage. They added that it is time for the McFly star, who shares seven-year-old son Cooper with Georgia, to “speak out” and publicly address what really happened.

“Everyone would understand why Danny and his wife have been quiet”, the source told the Mirror. “They are likely working through various discussions from the first video that was released alone. With this second video, Danny needs to now speak out”.

They added: “Maura is getting a lot of the backlash, and Danny seems to be getting away with his actions as a husband who was supposed to have been in love with his wife for over a decade. Danny’s career should be halted at this point, and he should be big enough to speak out to everyone now, explain what has happened, and take some accountability”.

They continued: “This is unfair on his wife, who seems to have put the family and their marriage first. Who knows if another video will emerge, but being honest is now the only way that this has a chance of resolving itself”.

After meeting in 2009, Danny and Georgia got engaged four years later while on holiday in Cyprus. The pair tied the knot in a stunning ceremony in North Yorkshire in 2014, surrounded by friends and family.

During his time in the I’m A Celeb jungle, Danny opened up about meeting his wife and revealed that he had chased her for a year before she agreed to go on a date. “It took me a year to get her because I invited her out for a roast. It was just like clubbing, we couldn’t talk.

” I was like ‘ Do you wanna go to the pub tomorrow? ‘ and she was like ‘ Yeah'”. I texted her in the morning, and she was like, ‘ Sorry, I can’t make it'”.

He added: “And then weeks went on, and she didn’t make it, couldn’t make it, turning me down. And I gave up in the end. Then about 11 months later she text me saying ‘ Do you wanna go out for a drink or get breakfast? ‘ and I was like ‘ Yes! ‘ So I picked her up and took her to the waffle house in St. Albans. That was literally like twelve months later”.

Vanuatu revokes citizenship of fugitive Indian ex-IPL cricket boss

The prime minister of Vanuatu has ordered the cancellation of a passport issued by the island nation to fugitive Indian businessman Lalit Modi, who is wanted by Delhi in a corruption case.

The order came three days after India confirmed that Mr Modi had got citizenship of Vanuatu, a string of more than 80 islands in the Pacific Ocean.

Mr Modi, the former chief of the Indian Premier League (IPL), is wanted for allegedly rigging bids during his tenure as the head of the world’s richest cricket tournament.

India has made several unsuccessful attempts to extradite him.

On Friday, India’s foreign ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal told reporters that Mr Modi had applied to surrender his Indian passport in London.

“We are also given to understand that he has acquired citizenship of Vanuatu. We continue to pursue the case against him as required under law”, Jaiswal had said.

The news of Mr Modi becoming a Vanuatu citizen had made headlines in India, where he was once the face of the glamorous, cash-rich IPL tournament. He was a regular presence on the social scene, rubbing shoulders with Bollywood stars and India’s elite.

But on Monday, Vanuatu’s Prime Minister Jotham Napat announced that his country had decided to cancel Mr Modi’s citizenship.

Napat said a Vanuatu passport was a “privilege” and that “applicants must seek citizenship for legitimate reasons”.

“None of those legitimate reasons include attempting to avoid extradition, which the recent facts brought to light clearly indicate was Mr Modi’s intention”, a media release quoted Napat as saying.

He said that background checks and Interpol screenings conducted during Mr Modi’s application for a passport had shown no criminal convictions.

But, he added, that in the past 24 hours, he had been made aware that Interpol had twice rejected India’s requests to issue an alert notice on Mr Modi, citing a lack of “substantive judicial evidence”.

“Any such alert would’ve triggered an automatic rejection of Mr Modi’s citizenship application”, the release added.

The move is likely to bring relief to Indian authorities. Unlike the UK, Vanuatu does not have an extradition treaty with India.

Extradition treaties allow repatriation of people accused of crimes between countries.

A day earlier, Mr Modi wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that there were no cases pending against him in any court in India and accused the media of peddling “fake news” about him.

Mr Modi was instrumental in founding the IPL in 2008, which has now become a multi-billion-dollar industry.

The main accusations against Mr Modi relate to rigging bids during the auction of two team franchises in 2010. He was also accused of selling broadcasting and internet rights without authorisation.

In 2013, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) banned Mr Modi from any involvement in cricket activities for life.
