Although Mickey Rourke’s departure from this series has been one to remember, there have also been many more memorable ones as we look back at some of the most shocking removals from his era.

The Celebrity Big Brother house has had the world talking since it first aired back in 2001. It’s where we can all grab a rare glimpse at how celebs really behave beyond the spotlight – giving us entertainment, chaos and some of the most iconic moments in TV history.

But behind all the laughs and the legendary one liners, we’ve seen a fair share of controversial moments too – moments so wild they’ve actually ended careers. Just this season, we saw American actor, Mickey Rourke get booted off the show for his outdated and unacceptable remarks. But, he’s far from the first. Let’s take a look back at some of the most shocking, career ending exits in Celebrity Big Brother history.

Mickey Rourke (2025)

The Hollywood star’s brief stay in the house was brief, lasting only six days before being expelled for unfavorable behavior.

His comments started on Day 2, when he made several homophobic comments towards JoJo Siwa. He claimed that if he stayed in the house for more than four days she “wouldn’t be gay anymore,” and even said he’d tie her up. He went on to say he was going to “vote the lesbian out” before referring to her using the F-word slur – which he tried to brush it off by saying he was referring to a cigarette.

Mickey was given a warning and later apologised, but the comments didn’t stop. He also used inappropriate sexual language to Ella Rae Wise, leaving her in tears.

However in the end, it wasn’t his disgusting comments which led to him being kicked out. It was when he threatened physical violence towards Chris Hughes during a heated argument that was the final straw, which cost him his £500,000 fee.

Roxanne Pallett (2018)

During the series, Roxanne and her fellow housemate, Ryan Thomas were having a playful encounter when she claimed he punched her and she went on to falsely label him a woman beater. Ryan apologised to her after the encounter, however Roxanne continued to say he purposefully hit her.

She even went as far as to recreate what she thought occurred, telling the housemates the confrontation was violent and leaving them unsure of their motives, which even made Ryan doubt himself. Later on when producers showed her the footage, the situation continued for days, and she eventually retracted her claim, admitted she had “got it wrong” and voluntarily left the house.

But she suffered a significant blow to her career as a result of the “Punchgate” incident.

Christopher Biggens (2016)

Before being kicked out of the house because of his inappropriate comments, the British entertainer was given three warnings. He made shocking remarks about bisexual people while appearing on the program, calling them “the worst kind” and suggesting that they were too afraid to admit they were gay. He even went so far as to assert that HIV is a “bisexual disease.”

After receiving over 500 Ofcom complaints from viewers, he was then forced out of the house on day 9. He then continued making inappropriate comments and receiving warnings from producers.

Jeremy Jackson (2015 )

The Baywatch star entered the house when drinking was allowed and after mixing rum and vodka, he got drunk and ended up vomiting in the bathroom, where he was joined by a fellow housemate, Chloe Goodman.

When he pulled open Chloe’s dressing gown, things turned sour as she left the bathroom, yelling, “That’s not okay, I’m leaving now,” the situation turned ugly.

She later said, “He removed my boob and went to my dressing gown.” I didn’t know she had nothing under her, Jeremy asserted. However, later in the diary room, he admitted that he thought Chloe’s actions were “calling his behavior” and that they were “silly, bold, and stupid.

Even though the incident itself wasn’t broadcast, viewers were outraged by its aftermath.

To the surprise of the viewers, he was simply put to sleep in a different room. However, he had already left the house by morning.

Hertfordshire Police issued a caution after he left the house. However, his abhorrent behavior toward women didn’t stop there; he was later given 270 days in prison and five years of probation for stabbing a woman during an argument.

Ken Morley (2015)

Despite being warned, the English actor was kicked out of the program after repeatedly using the N-word in reference to a co-worker. Additionally, Ken made offensive remarks about housewives.

Ofcom received 244 complaints about his use of racist and sexual language, leading to his expulsion. Even his actions were applauded by Channel 5 for a statement that exposed his behavior in Parliament.

His son later thanked everyone who “may have been offended by his dad’s behavior” in an apology posted on his behalf.

Tila Tequila (2015)

The shortest period in CBB history saw the adult entertainer leave after just one day. However, it wasn’t her show behavior in her case.

In a previous post, Tila described Hilter as a “brave artist who was” ahead of his time and posted a photo of herself in a Nazi outfit holding a gun in front of Auschwitz. She even claimed to have the same hopes and dreams as him.

Many viewers were outraged as soon as she became known as a housemate, some even starting a campaign to remove her. The producers of Channel 5 claimed they had no idea about her previous posts.

Surprisingly, after her brief appearance on the show, she managed to land her own dating show.

Zions Foster describes how they have spent the past six weeks living in a hospital with their pregnant girlfriend Jesy Nelson.

Fighting for life before they are even born, singer Jesy Nelson’s twins have already made their parents proud. Their dad admits he feared they might not make it – and says he is dreaming of the day when they are old enough to learn about what they went through together.

Former Little Mix star Jesy had emergency surgery this month after the babies developed twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome – a rare condition which could have been fatal for one or both twins.

The operation was a success but Jesy and her partner, Zion Foster, have lived in hospital for six weeks and will stay there until the babies are born. Un the first interview either of them has given about the pregnancy drama, Zion said: “They’re giving us so much hope they’re going to come out healthy.

Jesy and the twins have accomplished a lot. We doubted that we would get to where we are now because of how many times during this pregnancy.

The rapper is running the London Marathon on Sunday to raise money for the Twins Trust, which offers support to families with twins. Dedicating his efforts to his unborn babies, he added: “Their strength has been unmatched. We literally feel like we know them already just because of how much they’ve overcome.

Teddy Magic, the semi-finalist of Britain’s Got Talent, stunned the judges at his ITV show audition, where he pulled out some incredible stunts and waded with wit.

Teddy also revealed that his interest in magic first developed about four years ago, when he performed a trick while the couple was waiting for a delayed flight. Teddy noticed a magic set with three tricks that he could learn as they searched for a toy store.

He said, “I learned it, mastered it, and then I showed it to my family, who was very impressed.”

“I bought some more and then I started showing my friends and my family. Then I started my YouTube which has eight videos now.” He added: “I actually really like entertaining and all my hobbies are entertainment.”

Teddy joins the first set of semi-finalists who will compete for a spot in the final in this Saturday’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent. The semi-finalists taking part in the first live episode alongside Teddy are Heavysaurus, Vinnie McKee, The Blackouts, Akira, Linda Mudzenda, Eden Choi and Auzzy Blood.
