Olivia Attwood brands Pete Wicks her ‘twin flame’ after wild Ibiza holiday

Olivia Attwood and her close pal Pete Wicks have dismissed the rumours surrounding their steamy snap in Ibiza – and now Liv has spoken out about their friendship

Olivia and Pete call themselves twin flames

Olivia Attwood dubbed close mate Pete Wicks her “twin flame” following their intimate time together in Ibiza. The duo, who present Kiss’ The Sunday Roast, recently jetted back from a wild getaway to the White Isle where Pete was snapped with his arm wrapped around Liv as they chilled on a yacht.

The snaps raised questions and fuelled rumours about Olivia’s marriage to husband Bradley Dack. However, it was disclosed the professional footballer wasn’t bothered by the intimate display whatsoever; rather, he was more worried about his other half’s reckless, boozy behaviour.

For Pete, 36, and Liv, 34, it’s been work as normal in the radio studio since the holiday and, in their recent episode, they both shared their ‘starter packs’ of characteristics they favour. Liv’s collection featured a love for Starbucks and Coke Zero, rescue dogs, tattoos, a wild child at heart and “having no accountability for actions”.

Pete commented: “I’m reading this now and I could be a Liv Attwood.” Liv responded: “We do this all the time. We’re soul sisters. We’re twin flames. We’re the same person.”

Pete’s collection comprised an “unhealthy attachment to cigarettes and alcohol”, no attachments to people due to commitment issues, bad tattoos, suede jackets, off-white jeans, dancing shoes, a man bag and sadness behind the eyes.

Olivia spoke about the Ibiza holiday days after flying back to the UK, revealing to The Sun: “If I had something to say, I’d be saying it on my own [ Instagram ] story. All the gossip and stuff – people message me and go, ‘Oh, have you seen this?’ If I had something to say, I’d be saying it on my own [Instagram] story.”

And, I do, but I’m quite disconnected from that stuff. Because I just think that, if you’re in this industry – and believe me, there are so many wonderful perks, I live a very privileged life – it’s just a sidebar of this job. “I just take it..”

Her husband Brad has kept mum about Liv’s trip, but we’ve heard that her sporadic communication was the real bone of contention for him.

A source revealed: “Brad was really happy she got a blow out because she works so hard, but it just tipped the balance into her going too hard and he was just really worried. “That’s what is at the heart of this, he was annoyed she was being so reckless. “The other thing as part of that is she was barely in touch and so his worrying wasn’t abated at any point.”

For now, Liv is shifting her focus back to her hectic TV schedule, which includes the launch of season two of Bad Boyfriends, set to air on September 14 on ITV2.

Amid the drama, Olivia has admitted she and Bradley are in the process of taking a huge step and letting go of their beloved Cheshire mansion – admitting “it just doesn’t work for us anymore.”

Olivia first gave fans a peek of her Cheshire pad on her telly series Olivia Meets Her Match back in 2020, where she lived with Brad and their two pooches Lola and Stitch. But it’s not been a home filled soley with happy memories. In July, Olivia shared that the house was burgled while she was away working in Spain, but the break-in was foiled by her private security team.

Olivia confessed that over the past year, she and Bradley have barely spent any time at their home, as she’s been busy working in London and he’s been playing for Gillingham Football Club in Kent, leading them to decide to put the house on the market.

She revealed: “The house is going to go on the market very soon. Essentially, I had this flat in London that I was just using as a base for filming. And that’s what it was meant to be, but now we’re living here.”

Speaking to The Sun, Olivia added: “That’s our family home in Cheshire, but we’re not in it. So, we’ve been umming and ahh-ing, because we’re both kind of emotionally holding onto that house. We love it so much. It’s just that Cheshire doesn’t work for us anymore because we’re not there.”

Nepali PM forced to step down, parliament torched amid deadly protests

Nepali Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been forced to step down after a wave of anticorruption protests left 19 people dead and more than 100 injured, but tens of thousands of protesters remained on the streets, blocking roads and setting fires to parliament and other government buildings.

“In view of the adverse situation in the country, I have resigned effective today to facilitate the solution to the problem and to help resolve it politically in accordance with the constitution,” Oli wrote in his letter to President Ramchandra Paudel on Tuesday after his administration was blamed for the bloodiest outbreaks of unrest in a decade.

Defying an indefinite curfew, thousands of young Nepalis returned to the streets of Kathmandu on Tuesday, demanding change and clashing with riot police. Some protesters set fire to government buildings.

The demonstrations – called the protest of Gen Z – erupted after the government blocked platforms, including Facebook, X and YouTube, saying the companies had failed to register and submit to government oversight.

But the protests spiralled to reflect broader discontent. In particular, many young people are angry that the children of political leaders – so-called “nepo kids” – seem to enjoy luxury lifestyles and numerous advantages while most youth struggle to find work.

On Tuesday, despite the government rolling back its order and the apps returning online, protests reignited, spreading from the capital to multiple cities nationwide.

“The Nepal government has fallen, the youth have won the protest,” said key protest figure Sudan Gurung, in a post on newly restored Instagram. “The future is ours.”

President Ram Chandra Poudel, the ceremonial head of state, appealed to the protesters to engage in discussions to find a peaceful resolution and stop further escalation.

In a video message, Nepalese army chief Ashok Raj Sigdel urged protesters to stop the demonstrations to prevent further loss of lives and property and to come forward for dialogue.

Nepal’s struggle with weak governance

The upheaval is the most serious since 2008, when street demonstrations brought down Nepal’s centuries-old monarchy.

Despite democratic reforms, the Himalayan nation of 30 million has struggled with weak governance and endemic corruption. Economic opportunities remain scarce, forcing millions of Nepalis to seek work abroad in Gulf states, South Korea and Malaysia, sending money home to sustain their families.

With youth unemployment running at about 20 percent last year, according to the World Bank, the government estimates that more than 2,000 young people leave the country every day to seek work in the Middle East or Southeast Asia.

Oli, 73, had been in office for his fourth term since July last year, becoming the 14th prime minister in the post-monarchy era. Two cabinet ministers resigned late on Monday, citing “moral grounds.”

Witnesses said protesters torched tyres, hurled stones, and set fire to the homes of several politicians.

Local media reported that military helicopters evacuated ministers from besieged houses. Crowds also ransacked the prime minister’s residence and set alight the Singha Durbar government complex, which includes parliament and key ministries.

Footage circulating on social media showed former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife, along with Foreign Minister Arzu Rana and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, being attacked by demonstrators before soldiers intervened.

The United Nations rights chief, Volker Turk, said he was “appalled” by the violence and called for talks.

Those appeals did not seem to be heeded.

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) said the headquarters of a major publisher – the Kantipur Media Group – was burning, and called on “protesters not to target journalists”.

Kathmandu’s airport remains open, but some flights were cancelled after smoke from fires affected visibility, airport spokesperson Rinji Sherpa said.

“It’s my birthday and guess what I got,” the 54-year-old actor wrote in the caption. The first photo showed him standing on his own looking dapper in a black suit, white shirt, blue tie and brown-rimmed glasses and the second sweet snap had the bride and groom hold hands as they entered the reception.

Rico Rodriguez, who played Manny Delgado, posted a few partying face emojis. Hollywood icon Octavia Spencer said: “Congratulations! So happy for you both,” while Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Joel McKinnon Miller posted: “So happy for you. Congratulations!”

In July, Eric revealed his plans to tie the knot in their Kansas City home after getting engaged in 2021.

He said to People: “Well, I’ve said we’re building a house to host a wedding, and we’re still on track to do that. We’re almost done with the house, and that’s been our plan all along.”

“We got engaged and then all of a sudden got an opportunity to build a house, and I thought, no better way to start a relationship than literally building a foundation. So that’s our plan and we’re still on track for that.”

When the couple first got engaged, their were a few people who criticised their seven-year age gap.

In response, he hilariously tweaked one of the images from his announcement to make Lindsay look a lot older.

Alongside the picture, he wrote: “Apparently a lot of people think I look too old, as a 49 year old man, to be engaged to my almost 42 year old fiancé [sic].

“Look, she can’t help that she looks so great at 42 and I can’t help that I apparently look like her grandad so, I fixed it for everyone.”

Joe Swash left with hilarious rude tattoo on finger after present for Stacey goes wrong

Joe Swash didn’t have much luck when he tried to give wife Stacey Solomon a present for Valentine’s Day but it made the family laugh

Stacey Solomon and husband Joe Swash remain a close and loved up couple(Image: Lia Toby/Getty Images)

It was meant to be a declaration of his love for wife Stacey Solomon. But Joe Swash left his partner and their family in stitches after getting a tattoo on his finger.

The tattoo is meant to show a love heart that Stacey uses on social media alongside the letter S as a symbol of his love. But once he put his wedding band back over the top, the tattoo looks very different.

Stacey and husband Joe Swash continue to do well and are loved by TV viewers thanks in part to their family reality show on BBC1 and their down to earth nature. A second series of BBC’s Stacey And Joe began tonight.

Joe Swash's tattoo
A close up of how the tattoo looks with his wedding ring on

Explaining how much he loves her, Joe, 43, tells viewers: “She’s got just the most morally moral compass. Is that a word? The most morally moral compass I’ve ever come across. I want to show Stacy how much I appreciate her, and I think the best way to do that is to use my body as a canvas. I’m hoping she’s gonna love it.

“It is all good intentions but things don’t ever work out how I expect them to.”

In the second episode Joe then gets a tattoo for Valentine’s Day to show his love for her, but when he puts his wedding band back on over the ink, it makes the tattoo look like a man’s private parts.

“It’s not as romantic as I thought it was going to be,” admits Joe. “I knew it looked like a p*nis, I just didn’t want to believe it. It is a bit like a Transformer, it starts off as a truck and then when you put the ring on it looks like a c*ck and balls. Are we allowed to say that on the BBC?”

Joe tries to take Stacey on a romantic sunset date away from the kids during the skiing trip.

After she is shown the tattoo, Stacey burst out laughing: “That’s not the same as mine. Why did you draw a p*nis.

“Start thinking of a bigger design. Why didn’t you just get the name?”

Stacey had previously got a tattoo for Joe on her finger in 2023, with his name spelled out and joked it was her “midlife crisis” moment.

Despite the odd looking tattoo, Stacey is still impressed by the gesture. Hugging Joe, Stacey says: “Being married to you is a constant turn of event when I feel special.”

This is not Joe’s first tattoo and he has now ended up with three tattoos, none of which are perfect. As he was getting the third one done he explained: “My experience with tattoos ain’t great, so I’ve got one on my back. That was like for my dad, it said, Protected in love from above’ but it reminds me of Shooting Stars[TV show] like the dove from above and also the tattoo, sort of like dips into my bum, so it is a bit like I have farted it out.

“The other one I got when I was on holiday with the boys. I got drunk on an 18-30s holiday, and my mate’s paid for me to have a tattoo, it says something in Hebrew on my hip here.

“I haven’t really looked into what it says. I can only imagine It’s not something lovely. Why? Why anything? Why did I trust my friends? Why was I so drunk? Where was my mum looking out for me?”

Stacey and Joe married in 2022 and have been together nine years. They have filmed more of their home life for the BBC. After rising to fame on the X Factor in 2009, Loose Women star Stacey has become a national treasure and is best known for her bubbly personality and as the Instagram DIY queen.

She keeps her social media followers in the loop as she has transformed Pickle Cottage into a family home.

As well as her dream home which features in the series, Stacey has the dream family life too with former EastEnders actor fiancé Joe Swash, and her five children; Zachary, 17, Leighton, 13, Rex, six, Rose, three, and Belle, two.

In the opening episode she told how she thought she has “had her last baby”.

The cameras showed their youngest Belle going to nursery. And Stacey admits she gets “sad” as the kids grow up.

“Another one flies the nest. All the kids are at school, and we can have a lot of fun,” says Joe before asking: “D’you think that’s our last baby?”

Stacey replied: “I think that’s our last baby, bubs.”

Joe said: “I think what we need to do is start looking forward to the future bits of the kids growing up instead of it being like ‘awww’.”

Stacey replied: “Yeah, that’s why I’m getting more animals, to be honest with you!”

Strictly fans demand ‘manchild’ Thomas Skinner be dropped after walking out of interview

Fans of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing have called for controversial reality TV star Thomas Skinner have called for the former Apprentice star to be axed from the upcoming series

Strictly Come Dancing fans have called for Thomas Skinner to be axed from the 2025 series after he stormed out of an interview on Tuesday before snatching a reporter’s phone.

The Apprentice star told reporters ‘I’m not doing this’ before he stormed out of a roundtable interview with several journalists at the BBC’s Elstree Studios on Tuesday. The former reality star, 34, best known for his social media output these days, grabbed a reporter’s phone as they asked him to stop.

It came just a few short hours after Skinner told his followers on X he “can’t be bought” and “won’t say things just to keep people happy”.

Skinner has been a controversial signing for this year’s series of the BBC series. The dad-of-three has drawn strong criticism for Twitter (X) posts saying it is “not far-right” to be “flying your flag and loving your country”, and complaining “it ain’t safe out there any more” in London, saying the city is “hostile” and “tense”.

The divisive figure had taken issue with a reporter recording an interview, a common practise, during the big Strictly Come Dancing press day.

He had arrived at the table alongside fellow contestant, former footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who was left having to do interviews on his own after Skinner decided to storm out of the room.

“He walked to the table with his head down, he sat down, grabbed one of the reporters phones, who told him to stop,” an insider at the event has told the Mirror. “It was a shock. His reaction came out of nowhere.”

Another source told us: “It was totally out of the blue. He was absolutely fine during the first interview. In good spirits and delighted and surprised to be there. Like a competition winner.”

His actions were said to have left organisers furious and BBC bosses in talks over whether he should remain on the show at all.

A female journalist had simply asked Skinner what had motivated him to sign up for Strictly, which left the reality TV star realising he was being recorded on a phone during the press event.

“What’s that?” Skinner demanded, before picking up the woman’s phone and taking it from the table.

The journalist responded asking: “What are you doing, can you answer the question, we have only got three minutes. I’m just recording him.”

Now fans have called for the former Apprentice star to be axed from the upcoming series which starts later this Autumn.

Taking to X, they shared their thoughts as one user wrote: “This is what the BBC deserve because I for one am not surprised at all. Now drop the axe IMMEDIATELY. #Strictly.”

“Get rid of him man child #strictly,” another fumed. “Well I can’t say I’m surprised should never had been part of the show to begin with hope he’s axed,” someone else complained.

Another Strictly fan said: “I hope they don’t let him on the show. This behaviour is horrible. The show hasn’t even started and he’s acting like this. No way.”

“The first mistake was asking Thomas Skinner to be on Strictly in the first place. Rookie mistake omg,” someone else added.

Skinner posted a cryptic message to his Twitter (X) followers this morning ahead of the press day commencing.

In the length tweet, he wrote: “I cannot be bought. I won’t say things just to keep people happy like others do. I am not a weathercock who changes opinions to gain clout like others you see online or social media. I’ll say what I believe in, even when it’s not easy. Because that’s what we need more of in today’s world.”

Skinner’s antics came just hours on from BBC director-general Tim Davie, 58, defended the decision to cast former the Apprentice contestant in the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Speaking to MPs from the Culture, Media and Sport committee, Davie said: “That was not my decision, that was the production team looking for those people … who want to do Strictly, and those people they thought would be interesting to the audience.”

“Clearly, we wouldn’t take anyone whose views are just beyond the pale, or we would see as completely unacceptable or not suitable, racist views, all those things, we wouldn’t accept them. But that’s not the case here, from what I know, I’m not an expert on the individual, per se.”

Did Trump draw a birthday note for Jeffrey Epstein? Here’s what we know

Democrats in the US House of Representatives have released a birthday letter allegedly written by US President Donald Trump to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein more than 20 years ago. The White House quickly denied its authenticity.

The letter, circulated on Monday and appearing to have been signed by Trump, was first reported by the Wall Street Journal in July. At the time, Trump denied the existence of the missive. Now the White House claims the signature is not his.

The birthday letter contains the sketch of a woman’s body and the text of an ostensible dialogue in which Trump calls Epstein a “pal” and says, “May every day be another wonderful secret.”

US lawmakers also released a copy of a “birthday book” given to the late convicted paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial in prison on sex-trafficking charges.

A birthday letter that US President Donald Trump allegedly wrote to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein more than 20 years ago is seen as presented by the Democrats in the US House of Representatives on their X account, September 8, 2025 [Handout via Reuters]

What documents did the House Oversight Committee release?

The letter, which was turned over by lawyers for Jeffrey Epstein’s estate in response to a subpoena from the House Oversight Committee, was released on Monday. It was included in a set of notes sent to Epstein for his 50th birthday, in 2003.

The leather-bound volume contained dozens of letters and sexually explicit images, including drawings by former girlfriends of Epstein receiving massages, as well as photos of zebras and lions having sex.

Contributors include former US President Bill Clinton, the Harvard Law School professor and onetime Trump lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and the now British ambassador to the US Peter Mandelson, among others.

Along with the book, lawmakers also released a 2007 agreement between Epstein and federal prosecutors at the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, and almost 30 years of entries in his personal address book.

That comes after the release of 33,295 pages of Epstein-related documents on September 2, mostly provided by the Department of Justice in response to a subpoena issued by House Oversight Committee Chairperson James Comer.

But Democratic lawmakers had criticised that release, noting that the new records were already publicly available. On September 3, Anouska De Georgiou, an Epstein-abuse survivor, urged US lawmakers to come to a bipartisan resolution to release all the Epstein files.

Through the Epstein Files Transparency Act, House Democrats are trying to get the government to release all unclassified records in the possession of the Justice Department, including those held by the FBI, US attorneys’ offices and other federal agencies.

What has the White House said?

Trump has not commented on the note’s release. On Monday, the White House denied that the president had produced anything for the birthday book and said the signature on the letter did not match Trump’s.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Taylor Budowich denounced the release, denying the veracity of the signature and alluding to Trump’s lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal and its parent company, News Corp, which first reported on the letter on July 17.

“Time for @newscorp to open that checkbook, it’s not his signature. DEFAMATION!” Budowich posted on X.

Elsewhere, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said “President Trump’s legal team will continue to aggressively pursue litigation” against the Wall Street Journal.

Trump filed a lawsuit on July 18 against the paper’s reporters and executives, including News Corp’s owner Rupert Murdoch. He is seeking $10bn in damages.

At the time, Trump denied drawing the figure or writing the note to Epstein, saying “The supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE.”

In response, a Dow Jones spokesperson said: “We have full confidence in the rigor and accuracy of our reporting.”

What are Democrats saying?

Epstein’s victims and some Democratic members of Congress remain unsatisfied with the latest slew of document releases.

Referring to Trump, House Democrats took to their official X account on Monday to note, “What is he hiding? Release the files!”

Robert Garcia, the top-ranking Democrat on the Republican-led House Oversight Committee, said Trump had “claimed that his birthday note didn’t exist … Now we know that Donald Trump was lying and is doing everything he can to cover up the truth”.

After long suggesting the files contained damaging information on Democrat politicians, Trump reversed course after returning to the White House in 2025.  He has repeatedly labelled the matter a Democrat-led “hoax”.

What are MAGA figures saying?

For months, the Trump administration has been grappling with an escalating backlash over its handling of the Epstein files, after top Justice Department officials backtracked on a promise to release all of the revealing material about the case.

Indeed, conspiratorial factions within Trump’s right-wing base were angered by the apparent reversal, opening a rift within the Republican Party, which has been stonewalling the Democrats’ Epstein Files Transparency Act.

After the Wall Street Journal story, however, Trump’s Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement has coalesced behind the president. On August 25, Jack Posobiec, an alt-right activist, said on X, “We’re so back. The MAGA movement is completely united.”
