Liam Gallagher deletes cryptic Oasis reunion message as fans work out real meaning

Fans have been treated to a 2025 reunion world tour all summer by Oasis, but Liam Gallagher teased there is still more to come as he shared a very moving post.

Liam Gallagher sent fans into a frenzy with a random post before swiftly deleting all evidence. The Oasis icon took to X where he shared a very cryptic post amid rumours of more reunion shows with brother Noel.

Fans soon managed to take their own screenshots, but the post was quickly removed from his official account. After their epic 2025 reunion tour, many people believe his message made reference to more Oasis shows.

Liam and Noel finally reunited and put years of feuding behind them this summer. They kicked off their world tour in Cardiff before travelling the UK, North America and South America.

Oasis haven’t performed in Asia or Oceania since wrapping up their most recent shows in London. Liam said, “I want to thank you a lot for keeping the faith and putting this band back on the f**king map,” on Sunday on the Wembley Stadium stage.

“Champagne Supernova.” Next year, see you! Fans believe Liam teased more shows are coming in late last night with his post. He wrote “MMXXV11” in Roman numerals.

One fan quickly offered their theories, saying, “It was 2025 in roman numerals with an 11 after it, so I assume it was an announcement in November 2025. Another added, “Maybe we’ll have a new album this year.”

Although he has said “see you next year” numerous times throughout the tour, Noel is trying to change the subject when questioned about Knebworth next year, there is definitely something going on next year.

Whatever that was about, someone else said, “It’s a sign of something coming up for the band, which means… “Oasis is so back, baby”!

Other fans were already speculating what Liam’s statement on stage this weekend meant. A fan asked, “Final gig? ” on the r/Oasis Reddit page.

Oasis will be wrapping up this lap of honor next year with a number of final appearances, it’s pretty obvious. Let’s assume this isn’t happening because Oasis management have been denying this publicly and the venue isn’t even good, as I’ve heard. What do you think will happen next with this tour?

“I like the concept of a few Europe warmup venues early in 2026, followed by a five-night Etihad residency, which ends where they started, in a couple of weeks.”

However, many people agreed that Manchester, their home city, should host the show’s finale. The final reunion concert should be in Manchester, a fan wrote. Others believed that this could just be the start of a new relationship, saying, “I don’t believe the reunion is going to end, but it will continue to be a process.”

Noel and Liam were never particularly interested in performing solo, as another person said, and they are both having a great time on this tour. They seem to be sticking around with every successful gig, which is a growing trend.

Osimhen On Traget As Liverpool Slump To Champions League Defeat At Galatasaray

As a result of Victor Osimhen’s 16th-minute penalty, Liverpool suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Galatasaray on Tuesday.

The English champions were punished for their most recent performance in Istanbul, where they only suffered back-to-back defeats under Arne Slot for the second time.

A series of late winners have maskred an unconvincing start since a summertime transformation of the squad that won the Premier League title last year, but Liverpool were defeated for the first time this season at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

In response, Slot made four changes, starting with Alexander Isak and Mohamed Salah, for which he was replaced for a salary of £125 million ($168 million).

Only Alisson Becker could have prevented a humiliating half-time score, according to the Dutchman, who was critical of Liverpool’s first-half performance at Palace.

In yet another disjointed display, Slot, despite using a variety of star names, did little to provide a response.

“For me, this was a different performance because you lose and football is about winning,” Slot said.

“We were frequently on the right side of the score last year, even though the margins were very small.”

The margins were extremely low again today, but on the wrong side for the second time in a row.

Galatasaray’s Champions League opener was a 5-1 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt.

However, the Turkish champions capitalized on Liverpool’s defensive weaknesses to become a much stronger force on their own soil.

Slot’s choice to play Dominik Szoboszlai at right-back was unsuccessful.

When he didn’t succeed in beating Alisson in a one-on-one fight with the Brazilian, Baris Alper Yilmaz warned the visitors of the danger down Galatasaray’s left.

Alisson injured

Liverpool should have already taken the lead before they lost.

Ugurcan Cakir denied Hugo Ekitike’s rounding of the goalkeeper, and Ismail Jakobs blocked Cody Gakpo’s follow-up effort off the line.

After Galatasaray quickly broke upfield, Yilmaz was given a soft penalty for a stumbling Szoboszlai arm into the Turkish international.

Alisson had previously saved a Champions League penalty, but this time Alisson converted the spot kick.

After Cakir put a header past Florian Wirtz, who has struggled to deliver on his £100 million price tag, and Ibrahima Konate’s cross was just off the mark just before half-time, Ibrahima Konate headed home from the corner.

The Reds’ defensive woes began at the start of the season, and Konate nearly nearly scored his side a second goal early in the second half due to his poor form.

Alisson saved his teammate’s blushes with another save from Osimhen, but at a cost because the Liverpool number one injured while running off his line and was forced to take Giorgi Mamardashvili’s place.

Salah and Isak were introduced by Slot at the hour’s mark, but Liverpool remained a potent attacking force.

Clement Turpin, a French referee, initially criticized Konate for a foul, but overturned his decision following a VAR review.

Galatasaray were inches away from the game’s second goal when Lucas Torreira headed a wide shot in stoppage time.

According to the source, “The bandits are currently moving toward Magaman Daji community, and they are reportedly going into Zamfara State after their operation.”

The eyewitness further urged the state and federal governments to urgently send more security personnel to the area, noting that Kontagora is the city’s closest Army base.

SP Wasiu Abiodun, the public relations officer for Niger State Police Command, was unable to pick up calls when requested for confirmation.

The bandits’ operations are still ongoing as of right now.

Galatasaray beat Liverpool 1-0 in raucous Champions League clash

In a raucous Champions League game in Istanbul, Victor Osimhen scored a penalty to help Galatasaray defeat a prone-to-error Liverpool, who lost goalkeeper Alisson and striker Hugo Ekitike to injury.

When Baris Alper Yilmaz went down in the 16th minute of the match on Tuesday, the masked Nigerian striker blasted the ball past a diving Alisson when he stepped up.

Mohamed Salah was on the bench for Liverpool after Crystal Palace’s first-league defeat of the season at the weekend, replacing Alexander Isak, who had signed for the record.

After Alisson had been injured and was replaced by Giorgi Mamardashvili in the 56th minute, Salah made a triple substitution for Liverpool’s starting right wing Jeremie Frimpong.

Ekitike, who was back in the starting lineup after serving a domestic suspension, went off injured in the 68th, a bloody night for the visitors, who had their chances but looked alarmingly vulnerable in defense.

The Turkish side’s victory over their opponents, who were unbeaten in all competitions up until last weekend and who were now facing two losses in a row, was a notable one.

Galatasaray could have won the game when Yilmaz snuck in with Alisson in the second minute while keeping the defense at bay.

In the 13th minute, when Ekitike miscued the ball after entering a scoring position, and Cody Gakpo had a shot that was saved off the line on the rebound, Liverpool missed a rare opportunity of their own.

When Osimhen rose up and lifted the already exploding crowd, Liverpool was almost in control before falling behind.

On the eve of half-time, the visitors had a chance to equalize when another Ekitike shot was blocked and Ibrahima Konate missed from close range, but they continued to look vulnerable and conceded a free kick on the edge of the area.

As Galatasaray worked tirelessly to maintain pressure in the second half, Liverpool was still looking nervous in defense and with loose passing. Despite this, there were many substitutions in the second half but no change on the pitch.

After Alisson had saved from Osimhen, Ekitike pulled away after stretching for the ball.

Referee Clement Turpin pointed the ball home in the 88th minute, but a VAR review determined that Wilfried Singo had played the ball prior to Ibrahima Konate, who had equalized.

Before the kickoff, Galatasaray supporters chanted “Is this the end of the world,” and supporters of the club also paid tribute to the late Diogo Jota and his brother, Andre Silva.

Arne Slot, the manager of Liverpool, claimed that Szoboszlai “did nothing wrong” by giving the penalty and that he was “disappointed” with the outcome.

When Yilmaz felt a slight flick in his face, he fell. In such a scenario, he claimed, “we can occasionally be a little outsmarted.” In such a circumstance, “I cannot blame Dom.”

Virgil Van Dijk, the captain of Liverpool, stated that his team needed to stop the errors rather than panic.

He told Amazon Prime, “I hate losing, but there shouldn’t be panic and improvement is needed.”

“The willingness and the hard work that we put in compared to the weekend gave us a significant boost tonight.”

We must now convert chances and occasionally avoid making foolish errors. We must continue in this process.
